Chapter 49

Dimitri’s POV
……..
Standing on the deck of the yacht. Looking through my binoculars I watch the ship ram hard into the back side of the docking station. A smirk slowly forming across my face, as I watch debris fall ontop of the ship, completely covering front half.
I can hear people yelling faintly in the distance, and see a few armed officers rush out of the front entrance of the docking station, just as a puff of debris fills the doorway behind them.
Damn, looks like it didn’t trap all of them inside, but I am sure a few of them got injured or killed in the process of trying to escape. I was just hoping it would trap and kill more of them.
Watching lights at the docking station flicker for a few minutes before completely going out.
I can still hear people shouting and screaming. I can’t make out what they are saying, but I have a feeling it is for backup. Along with calling for a ambulances, and a fire truck to help move the debris out of the way.
After twenty minutes I can hear sirens, and see lights flashing in the distances.
” Well, this is kinda disappointing. I was hoping for the whole docking station to collapse onto the ship.” I say mumbling to myself.
My intention isn’t to have any of my men die in the collapse. It was to make the police and government officials work for their prize of arresting those on board. Although it will be a lot of work for them. Since part of the docking station did collapse on the front half where my men are located.
If one or two of those boys did die. They will have a honorable funeral ceremony for dying in a test of courage.
It is the respectful thing to do.
I continue to look through my binoculars watching the scene play out infront of me. While I listen to everyone talk behind me.
” Are sure about this? I mean those are armed police officers and government officials. How are we suppose to kill them all?” Gabe asked me.
” Simple, you just aim and shoot your gun.” Lucia tells Gabe, before I can respond.
” You have killed thousands of people. What is the problem with doing this?” Liam questions him.
” I have killed scumbags, drug deals, traitors, and thieves. This is different we are talking about killing police officers, and governments officials.” Gabe tells us.
” Being a doctor full-time seems to have made you soft.” I say feeling the boat slow down. I lower my binoculars and watch as the yacht drift slowly towards land. Once we are close enough I jump onto the grass. ” Maybe you should stay on the yacht. If you are too scared about killing.” I add making eye contact with Gabe.
” I’m not staying on the yacht. I came to work and that is what I am doing.” Gabe says getting off the yacht. He gives me a stern glare, ” I haven’t gone soft either.” He adds.
” Guess you will just have to prove that to me.” I tell him.
Gabe can be a cold hard killer. He is the best man I got in this business to do jobs in assassination, torture, kidnapping, and more. He can literally do it all, but since it is police, and government officials it has suddenly became an issue.
He can’t be going soft not in this business. It could get me, him, Lucia, or Liam killed.
” I will prove too you that I am not going soft. I am just saying that it will create a lot more heat for us. Since we are going to be killing important people. It might even be considered terrorism” Gabe tells me.
He is right about it being a lot more heat. We will be wanted worldwide by everyone. Which is exactly what I want. I want us to be considered armed and dangerous. That they won’t bother touching us. Not unless they want to die trying to arrest us.
” It will be fine. Now grow some balls and let’s go.” Liam tells Gabe, as he secures the yacht by tying a rope around a tree that was next to me.
I watch Liam give the rope a good tug to make sure it doesn’t come untied, before checking the yacht for the ninth time.
” The yacht isn’t going anywhere. So, let’s go.” I tell them impatiently.
I start walking up a small hill, and looks through my binoculars once again. I can see more police cars pulling up with their lights flashing, with a few coroner vehicles following close behind.
Judge from how many coroner vehicles there are. I am assuming a lot of them have died and are going to the morgue.
” We are going to wait until the boys to get arrested, and for the ambulance, and the coroner to take off before we make a move.” I tell them.
I want the boys to make it to the jail, before we actually get to them. They have to be interrogated intensively, before we actually get them out. I want to know if those four can stay loyal to me.
Not to mention I want to give the police, and government officials time to remove their dead, and injured before we make our move.
” Are you actually going to let the injured ones live?” Liam questions me.
” They will have injuries that will last a life time. Everytime they look at their scars. My name will run through their heads. So, I don’t think it will be necessary to kill them.” I say not taking my eyes away from the docking station.
——–
After moving a bit closer to get a better look at the crime see, and waiting a good six hours. I watch a swat team with a bunch of guns and armor finally bust open the ship door.
It took them forever to get enough debris out of the way to get inside. Feeling my phone vibrate in my pants pocket. I give Gabe my binoculars to look through, before walking a few feet away.
I pull my cellphone out to see that it is Amara calling me. I hit the green button and hold the phone up to my ear.
” Where are you!? It is getting late and Sadie is wanting her daddy!” Amara snaps at me, before I can say anything.
” I had something come up. I should be home by tomorrow.” I tell her.
” What came up?” Amara questions me.
” It’s work related. Nothing to worry about.” I tell her.
” Dimitri, they are getting loaded into the police cars.” I hear Liam whisper to me.
” They also found the bodies.” Lucia adds
” I got to go. We can talk tomorrow.” I say to Amara and hang up, before she can say anything back.
” All bodies including the one packed inside a crate?” I question them.
” Yeah, they are carrying it out now. Doesn’t seem like they opened it yet.” Lucia tells me.
” Give me back the binoculars.” I tell Gabe. Who was in the middle of using them. I watch him remove the binoculars from his face, before handing them over to me.
I lift the binoculars up to my face, and look through them. I see the crate being carried by two armed men. I am assuming from their uniforms that they are part of the same team, as the group of men that were trying to arrest me just a few hour ago.
Watching them set the crate down. I watch a bald man in his late thirties walk over to them. Reading his lips I can tell that he is wanting someone to go get a crowbar. After waiting fifteen minutes I see a young women walk over with a crowbar in hand.
The bald man takes the crowbar from her, and starts to pry open the crate. A smirk forms on my face watching him slowly lift it.
” Bet you fifty bucks that he throws up.” I hear Lucia say to Liam.
” Bet you sixty-five that all of them throw up.” I hear Liam say back.
” Deal.” Lucia says.
Hearing a small clap beside me. I can only assume that they both shook on it.
Watching the crate lid finally pop open. I watch the bald man look into the crate. His face goes pale before walking a few feet and throwing up. I than watch as each officer and governments official walk up to the crate to peek inside. Each on of them throwing up shorting after.
I watch as the young woman that brought the crowbar peeks inside. She makes a face, and puts gloves on her hands. She reaching inside and pulls out the video tape.
It’s a good thing I put it in plastic. They don’t even have to clean off the tape. It is perfectly clean for them to pop into a video camera for them to watch.
