Today marks it exactly one week since Marco left, after the all ambush stuff happened. I was shaken up and expecting Marco to come home later that day and provide me some comfort.
But guess what, he didn’t come home that day. I didn’t call to him as I would rather not disrupt his work, and I waited the next day, still he didn’t show up. And then I called, I called several times and sent him messages.
I just wanted to know if my husband is safe wherever he is, is that too much to ask?
I got to find out from Matthew, who came back the very next day that Marco had gone on a business trip to Italy. He could have called to inform me, even a simple text would spare me the worries.
And today, I’m currently in Marco’s private jet, to God knows where. I’ve tried probing the information out of Matthew, but he’s so tight lip, refusing to say anything that would leak the whereabouts of where we are headed. Obviously, this has to be Marco’s instruction.
Lara the hostess, had arranged some snacks and drinks for me, which I’m munching on. I did some work on my laptop replying to emails, I brought it along to catch up with work. After some time, I decided to take a nap, Matthew gave me a heads-up early that it will take a couple of hours to get to our destination. Wherever it was.

“Donna.” Matthew voice woke me up, I glanced around seeing that we are still on the plane.
“We’re here.” He said.
“Where?” My voice is hoarse from the sleep, the gestured to the window.
I take a look outside the window, we are heading closer to the airport, I could see it at a distance. But then the blue ocean below caught my attention, the reflection from the orangish-red sky casting it glow on the ocean. The beach beside it marked the end of the salty water.
My gaze traveled back to the airport that was when I saw the big written words ‘NASSAU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.’
It took me a few seconds for the words to register in my head. Then I gasped.
“Bahamas.” I breathe, completely surprised and
I’ve always wanted to be here, it was one of those things I dreamt in college. But I couldn’t afford it then, it has always remained a dream to me, a dream that I have forgotten over time.
I blinked a few times, and shook my head to confirm if I’m actually dreaming of not. Man! This is not a dream, it is very much really.
“It is beautiful.” the view from up here is everything, stunning, breathtaking and everything beautiful. Those pictures on the internet I had look up on, holds no candle to what I’m seeing right here.
Soon, we stepped outside as the jet landed, Matthew led me towards a waiting car.
We drove through the beautiful street, I was like a five-year-old on Christmas Eve, watching the beautiful scenery.

We rode to a stop in front of a grand Hotel, once inside the lobby. Matthew spoke with receptionist, while I take a look around the place.
The place screams sophistication, from the huge chandelier spread it’s soft crystal glow, to the lounging area, the soft white couches seem really inviting to sit on. And then the sparkling clean marble floor, artificial plants and the rest.
This hotel certainly is beautiful, I just love the how it screams rich and still cozy
“Donna, this way.” Matthew voice drew my attention back, I followed him to the elevator.
The door open to— I don’t know exactly what floor were in, but the hallway of this floor look exactly like the lobby. Matthew opened the door to my room and make way for me, entering inside the suite.
The familiar cheerful voices of two individual reach my ear before I even saw them, chattering among themselves is Hannah and Tracy.
“Hey girl!” Hannah was the first to notice me. She came over engulfing me in an embrace, Tracy did the same.
“Marco brought you guys here, yes?” It has to be him because I mean else could have paid them to come here all the form US.
“Of course, girl. I have a killer dress ready for you.” Tracy chirped, “I need you to try it out now to see if I will have to make any amendments.” She rush over to clothe rack where she had hanged the dress.
“Come on, I just got here, I need some refreshments and rest.” I complained slumping on a couch.
“Twenty minutes, we don’t have the luxury of time on our side.” It was Hannah who said that, always strict with time, especially when a fat bucks landed in her purse.
She offered me a glass of orange juice, which I took gladly. Matthew has disappeared to God knows when. Hannah is busy bringing out the tools she will need to work on my face, and placing them carefully on the dressing table.
“Alright ready.” I said, directing to Tracy as I had to try out the dress. She grinned, beckoning me over to where it was.
It was a red dress, Marco’s must have demanded that the dress has to red. “I love seeing you in red, it makes me want to devour this tender skin of yours.” He had once said, running his lips over my neckline.
“I don’t think it needs any adjustments.” Hannah imputed as she watched the whole testing process.
I nod my agreement, one would think it would be difficult to wear because of the corset smashed my stomach, the rest part hugging ever bit of my curve. Buy this has to be the smoothest and softest fabric I’ve come across, tender and silk on the skin.
“Yeah.” Tracy confirmed.
“Now, my turn.” Hannah dragged me over to the dressing table.
After an hour and thirty minutes of Hannah working her magic on my face, and styling my hair. I was finally set free, I was staring at myself in the mirror.
The dress, the makeup, and hair combined gave me a sexy look, like I’m being sent off to a strip club. This is definitely their idea, I know Marco instructed to me look good.
But this is certainly not part of the look good, he might be talking about.
“I see what you guys did.” I eyed them playfully.
They return my smile with a mischievous one, grinning and waggling their brows suggestively.
“Go out there and have fun.” Tracy draped a coat over my shoulder to cover the dress, wise idea since we don’t want Marco killing anyone because they stare at me.
“And have lots of sex.” That was Hannah, winking and sending me a flying kiss. I hugged bother them before following Matthew out once again.
