“Boss, Your brother arrived a few minutes ago and he is in there with her family,” Felix told me when I rounded the corner and parked in front of the hospital. After Mom’s unexpected visit to the hospital, I had to think about Victoria’s safety and the safety of her family. I placed a guard on her without her knowledge. Call me paranoid, but I wanted to keep a close eye on her and know if and when she would try to betray me.
I placed the guard in front of the hospital and asked him to report back to me or Carl in case something bad happened. When I say in case something bad happens, I meant in case my mom shows up again to threaten Victoria. I’ve told her to stop harassing her, but Mom never listens to me. The guard was supposed to keep watch on her and tell me if Mom showed up again, I had no idea that she still had to deal with my brother. I didn’t know they were so close that he even pays her mom a visit.
I thought I saw a flicker of affection in her eyes tonight. For a moment I thought we could actually fake it and make everyone believe that we are a couple. Now that it seems like she is still meeting up with Nathan, I can’t help but wonder if she is about to betray me. I mean, what if they trying to set me up?
She never showed any signs of betrayal when I was with her, she actually made me feel like she wanted it to work between us just like I do. I guess she’s a good actress, she certainly knows how to lie a deceive. All the while I had an airpod on, so, Victoria had no idea that I knew she invited Nathan over. I pretended to be rushing off to a meeting, but as soon as I rounded the corner, parked my car in a hidden spot to see what was happening.
I felt betrayed by her, why wouldn’t she tell me he was bothering her, is this I saw the excitement on her face tonight, I thought we were ready to move on to the next level, I thought we were ready to come out together and announce our engagement. That is the reason I had her dress up for me tonight.
I’d purposely tipped off the press that we would be at the mall tonight. I sent an anonymous message to a few blogs, inviting them to come and get some juicy news. It’s a good thing I’d escaped from them before they could trail us to our car and trail us back here too. What would Gramps have said if it got on the internet that Victoria was seeing two brothers?
He would never forgive me for lying to him, he would never believe a word I say to him again, even if it’s the truth. I stayed there for a few minutes, and when Nathan did not come out, I decided to go in and see for myself. I need to be sure before I call it off. I got out of my car and I put on my hoodie that I always leave in the backseat in case I need to carry out an investigation.
“If I’m not out in two minutes, come and get me,” I instructed Felix as I walked into the hospital building. I knew where to find her mother, I’d instructed the hospital to move her to a VIP room with no easy access from strangers, especially the press.
Luckily the door was left slightly open and I was able to hear the conversation between them. He made it seem as though he were here for a casual visit, but his every word to Victoria sounded like a warning. I peeked into the room and I saw the fear in her eyes that made me realize that whatever Nathan is up to this time, Victoria is certainly not a part of it.
I was just about to leave when I saw a very furious man walking towards this room with his wife and daughter. I turned and pretended to be walking away. The moment they got inside the room, I got back to my position and stayed behind the door to listen to what they were saying.
I stayed there and let her get bullied by my brother and her supposed family. I couldn’t risk revealing my real identity and exposing myself to my enemies. I was going to just hang around and observe, but when that man hit Victoria?
I fucking lost it!
“I need you at the hospital, right now!” I order him sternly. He’s the only one can trust to handle this matter the same way I would have done it. I got back to my car and took off my holy so I didn’t look too suspicious. I looked around the parking lot for Nathan’s car. I spotted his car a few blocks away and I walked over to it I used my special skills to unlock the door so I could open his car bonnet and tamper with his brakes.
Relax, I’m not trying to kill him yet, I just want to hurt him in my own little way. I’m sure he will never see this coming. I messed up his car and then I went over to my car and sat down waiting for Carl. While I waited, I decided to surf the Internet and get more information about Mr Austin Keller. I wanted to know why he hated them so much, why he would hurt his sick wife in that pitiful condition, and also hit Victoria in front of her mother. How heartless is he?
I found an interesting story about his relationship with his wife and how she was tricked into marrying him. To think that it has been all about the money all along. They want to steal the company from her, and that is something I have to stop. As I was reading the published news about him, a new update popped up on my computer screen.
I programmed my computer to use a sequence and get me every news about anyone I type on my Google search. The program found recent news that Mr Austin and his wide just used to company to collect over a hundred and fifty million dollars from the bank. As if that was not enough, I found out that he has withdrawn a very high amount from the company too. Maybe I’m being unnecessarily paranoid again, or maybe I’ve seen traitors enough to know the traits. This man is trying to ruin the company and run off with his wife, leaving Victoria and her mother in debt. I can’t let that happen, I can’t let him do such evil and get away with it. Not on my watch!
