Cassandra was ready to flip the table.
Louis looks at everyone’s shocked faces as he tells them everything about this girl. How they’ve met and how texting her everyday had become a practice for the male. His day didn’t quite end until he’s received a text from her, for almost a month.
About Sharon, he forgave her as well as himself. He only liked the feeling of being in love. He was never in love with her and that was his problem. Quite essentially, Sharon couldn’t fall in love with him as well. He was cold in the beginning, specifically distrusting her because she was too close to him.
Then again, Louis thought it was a good idea to let another woman into his life.
But this time, it shall be true love.
He could feel it in his veins, in his head and heart. This made him feel excited. This, made him feel alive and obsessed.
“Louis…” Cassandra calls his name. She turns to look at Zayn, they give each other knowing looks.
“I’m fucking happy for you. Oh god.” Cassandra says.
“Why? Why are you emotional for me?” Cassandra closes her eyes and let’s the tears flow.
She was reacting as the sister of Louis Sympsons. She was happy for Louis Sympsons more than Louis Johnson.
“Oh god!” She makes the people on their chairs to rise and console her. Only Zayn knew the true reason behind her happy tears. As Louis stepped forward to console her, she quickly pounces on him, embracing her brother.
“I’m so happy for you, Louis!” She cries on his shoulder.
Even if she was faking a smile, her little sensitive heart was opening it’s wounds again.
For six months, she believed she would be fine without Louis Sympsons around her anymore. She was fine with Ravine disappearing from her universe as well. But Louis was someone who was everything to her.
From being her parent, taking care of her, to being the best brother she could ask for. All roles were played by the boy until 2057.
Pressing all grief away within her heart, she resumes eating as she smiles for him. He looked like he’s found his true one, the all-blue to his heart.
“Tomorrow at Grundy Cafe, huh?” Cassandra moves her shoulders, jumping her eyebrows. Louis gazes her top to bottom in a mocking way before saying, “It’s not what you think. I like her. She’s such a good texter.”
Cassandra chuckles.
“Whatever makes you happy. Anyways, Goodnight. I’m sleepy.” Louis places his juice down before pulling her up to hug her. They’ve finished their dinner as they sat on the couch.
“Of course you are. You cried yourself. I still don’t understand why were you so happy for me.” Cassandra bites down on her lip and shakes her head.
“Because Sharon and I used to bicker all the time, I guess. And I was happy, almost too much for you because you deserve peace to your heart more than anyone else around here.” As Cassandra says, Ravine looks up at her face while reading a magazine.
Georgina looks at the siblings as well, holding her boyfriend’s hand who squeezes her hand, kissing her knuckles afterwards.
“Everyone deserves a sister like you, Cassie. Goodnight.” Louis says, hugging her and patting her back as she yawns later.
Waving, she and Ravine enter her room and go to sleep on her bed as usual.
The girls wake up by cuddling each other. Ravine was the first one to wake up at 7 even on a Saturday morning.
“Cass. It’s too hot.” She says in her morning groggy voice.
“Hmm…” having her her only halfway through, Cassandra flips to the other side and releases the poor woman from her cage.
Ravine felt hungry, she was heading towards the kitchen to get herself something to eat. She tip toes around the hall to reach the kitchen as quietly as possible.
Suddenly, she sees Louis flat on the couch. He was texting someone.
Ravine raises her eyebrows before intending to scare the male.
“Boo!”
“Ack! Oh, it’s you! Jeez, Cassie is rubbing herself on ya! What the hell!?”
“Sorry but I’m quite like this. Who were you texting?” Louis goes back flat on the couch as he smiles. She had her answer.
“Yup. No need to explain. Well, when are you guys meeting today?”
“At 11?”
“Good. Don’t forget to pay the bill yourself.” Louis looks at the girl, jumping his eyebrows at her.
“Woman, what do you think of me? Of course I’ll be the one to pay-”
“Trust me,” Ravine straightens up as she continues, “Medical students are a different breed.”
Louis ought to take that as a warning.
11:00am on a Saturday morning never felt so blissful for the male. He didn’t know if she would show up or not, but he was foolishly waiting for her.
She’s been texting her the updates. Almost too anxiously and expressing very detail.
At seven when he was awake as well, she texts him about how she’s woken up and what kind of toothbrush movement is good for brushing teeth everyday. Louis was quite entertained by her anxious personality. He was starting to fascinate her, mesmerized by something about her which seemed so vague and metaphysical.
It’s 11:25. He was waiting for a message as usual.
As 11:40 came by, Louis was starting to lose the smile on his heart.
He hoped she would come.
He hoped they could meet officially today.
It quite seemed to him that they won’t be able to meet any time soon. Or… at all.
As he was about to leave at 11:52, someone creating a tantrum at the reception makes him crush his eyebrows together.
Placing his phone into his pocket, he walks towards it.
“Si-sir.”
“Oh my gosh, that’s Louis Johnson!”
“Shit. I’m seeing him in flesh and blood for the first time!”
“He looks like he’s the riches of riches, Jeez…” his splendid aura stops people from talking about the violent girl on the desk and begin whispering about him. He chooses to ignore them.
Then again, he sees a silhouette.
It was familiar to him.
The girl had a sling bag attached as she argued with the male receptionist.
“You don’t understand! I’m waiting for Mr. Louis! There should be a table booked with him! My name is Jessica, Dammit!” The girl yells.
Louis feels his whole world stop.
It was her.
It was really her.
“S-sir…” the Receptionist freezes when Louis walks forward.
The girl in front of him looks at him with a weird expression.
“Why… is he looking at me like that?”
“Because I’m Louis.” Jessica widens her eyes.
It was HER Louis.
Tall, above 6 feet, muscular…
She was regrettable of not noticing his face under the shadow of the tree last night. Unaware of his little mistake to not mention her name, he apologizes to her.
“I’m sorry, Jessica. I didn’t tell them you’re my guest today.” The receptionist, and everyone around them look back and forth between the middle class girl and the richest businessman of the world.
“L-Louis… Johnson…”
Her world quickly fades to black.
