A week later, as promised to himself, Louis does everything within his power to steal the money from Georgina’s aunts and send it to her account. Now, it was only about time when Georgina discovers.
Louis was sitting by the backyard swimming pool leisure chair when he hears the person rap against the door of their sibling mansion. He was with his brothers and sister, having a great time.
“You might wanna take that one, Dan.” Dan furrows his eyebrows.
“Who might that be?” Taking the glass of beer with him, he walks back inside with Alex following him.
Through the peephole, he sees the security man standing alongside Georgina. His eyes widen. Why was she here?
“Hey, babe-” the lady pushes his hug away to ask Alex, “Where’s your brother?”
“I mean, which brother?” Alex points to Dan, thinking he went invisible for a second to the lady.
“Not him! Louis! I’m sure he did this!” She yells.
“Damn, what did he do?”
“Where is he!?” Georgina uses her demonic presence to intimidate Alex.
“Whoa whoa, take a chill pill. We’re all hanging out in the backyard. It’s a Friday-” before he could conclude his sentence, the teary eyed woman was running towards the backyard.
She sees Louis talking with Cassandra and Ravine who were wide-eyed at his doings.
“You really did that?” Clad in a bikini suit, Cassandra asks Louis.
“Yeah. She-”
“Louis!” They hear another female’s voice as Louis turns around. He possessed a great, apologetic smile as he stands up with the glass of beer in his hand.
“Hi, Georgina. Did you like my apology-” Louis couldn’t complete his sentence when Georgina runs to the tall man and hugs him tightly.
He chuckles, almost losing his balance. A few drops of his drink spill out, but it cannot compare to the happiness felt by the woman who was robbed once by her own family.
“You’re an angel, oh my God… oh my God…” she cries.
“I’m not. I’m only doing what’s right.” Says Louis. Dan reaches the site as he watches the sight in front of him.
“Aw man… did he just steal my girlfriend?” Alex chuckles as he pats Dan on his shoulder.
“Better think that way. Louis is a billionaire and you’re just a millionaire- oomph!” Dan rightfully elbows Alex in his gut.
“What happened…?” Dan comes to Cassandra who stands up and rests her arm over his shoulder.
“Louis just did her a favor. He returned her stolen money.” Dan was flabbergasted.
“Damn.” Was the only word that comes out of his mouth. Soon, Georgina notices the young man and runs towards him. Cassandra backs up and sees him hugging his girlfriend righteously.
“That’s a good pair.” Cassandra says, sensing her boyfriend standing behind her with a pair of tongs to flip the barbecue meat.
“You bet.” Zayn says, resting his elbow on her shoulder.
Dan quickly snatches the mobile of Georgina which shows him the display of numbers.
“There’s three… four… five… seven… seven zeros I see here.” Attached to them was a 3 in the front.
“I’m sorry but the 2 million isn’t mine.” Saying, Georgina turns to face Louis. He puts his lips into a tight smile as he says, “That’s the apology from me.”
Taking her phone back from Dan, she walks to Louis to teach him.
“You’re not changing, Louis. You doing this to me was something greater than an apology. I don’t know how things work, but please take your 2 million back.” Says Georgina.
“I can’t. I don’t take it back.” Says Louis, making her roll her eyes at the male.
“I’ll take it!” Cassandra raises her hand, volunteering to take the money.
“Haha! No, sweetie. You’re not 20 yet.”
“Aw! Cheapskate!” Yelling, she goes back to Ravine who embraces her in a side hug.
“In any case, I will be returning this to you, Louis. I can’t take this from you.”
“You’re not taking it, Georgina. I’m giving it to you-”
“AH!” Dan suddenly screams.
“Stop arguing with my girlfriend and take it back, Jeez!” Dan snatches Georgina’s phone and quickly installs all the applications needed and sends the money back into Louis’s account.
In five minutes.
Louis shakes his head, going back to sit on the chair.
He was told again, that he needed to change.
He had a lot to grow.
Out of the blue, he feels the gentle kiss of a girl on his cheek.
“Good job, bro. You’re her hero now.”
“Yeah, I don’t wanna be anyone’s hero. I wanna learn from my mistakes.”
“You’re growing up.” Cassandra pats his head, Louis smiles gently before announcing his retirement with the hangout.
He was sleeping in his room when suddenly, a text pops up on his screen.
[Hey, I don’t know who you are, but can I please text you my sorrows? Please?]
It was a girl. She had an anonymous name: NoBody.
Louis gives it a thought. It’s been so long since he improved his texting circle. Ever since he became the CEO of Autoc Empire of his father, he has been dwelling in the business world and almost never got any text or call on his mobile.
He found the girl with the name on her caller ID interesting. He decided to text her back.
[Hi. Yeah, sure.] He texts her back.
[I don’t wanna know who you are, but I’m telling you my name.]
[Hi. I’m Jessica. Just Jessica]
While replying to her texts, Louis smiles in mischief.
[Hello, Just Jessica.]
[….] her reply with dots cracks him up.
[Okay, so I am a loner and I don’t got no boyfriends]
[And that’s my life, filled with trash]
[I’m also somehow a medical student and I wanna become a doctor but my true love is writing books! I wanna be an author]
She texts.
[Okay, what’s stopping you from being an author? You seem like a great texter]
To which she replies,
[Man! Or woman, I’m a middle class girl who wants to make her parents proud!]
[My parents expect me to be the first doctor in our family, both sides!]
[I feel depressed learning about genitals]
Louis chuckles, [why?]
[BECAUSE I CAN’T HAVE THEM IN MY VAG-]
