Cassandra proceeds to the other side after speaking with Zayn. He fills her with important information while she was left to figure out the two siblings of her class whose names he couldn’t recollect.
Who were they and why does Zayn want her to stay away from them? She was about to discover that for herself.
“Alrighty. Let’s go to our favorite literature classes!” Voicing with a savvy tone, Peter throws his tray into the trash as Cassandra and him walk to their literature classes.
They watch Darla on their way, they exchange unpleasant looks. It was as if Cassandra was being bullied just by her looks. It looked so nasty to her, she couldn’t help but complain.
“What does she even have with me?” Cassandra asks Peter, subtly hinting that she lost her memory or so.
“She doesn’t have anything against you. It’s you who has been fighting her off all these days. We all know Darla hates the nerds.”
“Nerds…? Oh yeah. I am a nerd.” Speaking to herself, Cassandra walks further as Peter stops in his tracks. He stares at her back, tilting his head to figure out what actually happened to her. A fever won’t do a person this bad, right?
But he liked this Cassandra.
She looked stunning and no less than a model, more a nerd anymore.
Sighing, he shakes off his thoughts and jogs to catch up. Literature classes were fun for Cassandra alone. She was smiling like a fool, remembering her own homeroom teacher in the future.
How she fell in love with the 35 year old man and she who swore to never get into a relationship slid in with ease.
“Cassandra… you’re creeping me out, child.” The teacher says, her expression turning to a smile when her student says, “Your classes are so interesting today ma’am!” Chirps the girl.
The teacher blushes, “I don’t remember you not yawning in my classes. You finally got the hang of my teaching, huh?”
“Yes ma’am!” Cassandra was blushing as well.
Ms. Denvers walks away after the class.
She drops her smile at the speed of light, clasping her jaw and exhaling sharply.
Sharon Denvers sighs as she sits on her desk. She rotates her neck, touching the small pendant she wore to college everyday. It was a memory from her lover, Louis as a parting gift.
She didn’t know what went wrong between them. He suddenly declared he wanted to be alone, and gave the relationship break since 10 months. She was infuriated, somehow concluding it was because of Cassandra turning 18.
Yet, she kept tabs on the eldest sibling of the Johnsons.
“Trying to impress me, huh? Let me see if you can do well in my exams.” Saying, Sharon designs a paper far worse than anything. She was a Psychology graduate as well, she knew how to play with minds using her Psychology trump card.
She sets a question paper no one could answer.
As the fourth hour concluded, the last hour of the day required them to have English classes.
General English was co-taught by Sharon and another lecturer Gita James.
Gita ma’am was said to be the sweetest Indian teacher in the whole campus.
“Man I hate English.”
“But I’d read it for Gita Ma’am like it was my right. She’s so sweet, dammit!”
Cassandra listens in on their conversation, if she remembers, their names were Danny and Kitty, two best friends of rich families. Cassandra’s head was on the desk as she played some tune with her fingerpads thumping on the metal interior.
Suddenly, the class was fallen into a puddle of whispers. Cassandra felt a strong presence of a woman with loads of character. She was so enticing, so charming to silence the whole class with her appearance.
Cassandra was seated in the bench beside Peter, in the third row.
She looks up to see what was the hot topic.
The topic was indeed… very hot.
Cassandra watches the female enter the door, her head high like a peacock and her heels clicking against the tiles like a horse’s beautiful gallop.
Behind her was another entity.
Cassandra felt her eyes sparkling with appreciation for how handsome the boy looked. They must be related, she thought.
Even if appearance didn’t come into play, they way they come in together and entice the whole class, rendering them silent was enough to conclude on that statement.
Who were they…?
“Oops. Here she comes.” Saying, Peter slides his leg inside because no one wants to hear the insults that the rich, cold girl constructs on them.
Peter behaves as if she doesn’t walk past him, rolling her eyes.
However, the hot girl clad in white miniskirt and beige shirt halts right in front of Cassandra.
Because Cassandra has been staring at her with her googly eyes on display. She had a lot of emotions stirring up inside her.
Why did this girl resemble so much to her best friend?
“R-Ra…” Cassandra takes a deep breath in, ignoring Ravine who raises an eyebrow.
“I thought you finally grew some balls to talk to me.” Ravine says, spewing anger at Cassandra.
“N-no. Please take your seat.”
“This, is my seat.” Says Ravine, placing her bag on the desk. If it was the normal Cassandra, she would have thrown a fit and argue with her. But she walks off right away. Ravine raises her eyebrow at her, her face getting even colder.
She watches Cassandra scurrying off to another seat.
And Peter, was attacked by the President of the campus, James Lee.
Yes, the same James Lee who isn’t Lebron James but the sexiest man alive on the campus.
“Should I write it on the notice board? Move, fatty.” Says the abusive president. To the other side of the world, he was the sweetest candidate the campus has ever seen. But on the other hand, the class of 2-B knew he was an incarnate of the Devil himself.
“Y-yes sir.” Blushing, Peter too moves his place to somewhere else. James Lee didn’t want to compromise a seat to someone else, especially not where Ravine sat.
Cassandra takes a seat, her mind in shock as she realises.
‘Ravine was a reincarnate too…’
