Isabella
It was Friday already. The weekend has come. Tristan and I had planned to host all our friends for dinner, have a little drink, and chit-chat then we would give them our little present from our trip/honeymoon.
“Rose, could you place the vase here, ” I was making little changes in the dining area that would be suited for the evening. Tristan was still at work and would be back soon, but I got off from work pretty early to organize here, prep for dinner, and then make sure they got everything set the way I wanted.
“Is he done showering?” I asked Rose who shook her head, but then seemed like she was staring at something else so I turned around and there he was, trying to sneak up on me.
“Really?” I folded my hands at him.
“What? You don’t want a little fun?” He shrugged.
“You call sneaking up on me fun?” I glared at him, and immediately he scratched the back of his neck.
“I’ll be more creative next time,” He said like a sad puppy and I sighed.
” You look good,” I helped him button his shirt and undid just one button, while he chuckled.
“You are pretty,” he kissed my cheeks, making me chuckle as he lifted me in his arms, causing me to shriek.
“Put me down,” I hit his shoulders but he only listened to me when he was satisfied with his actions.
“You’re crazy Tristan,” I told him and bent to catch my breath.
“For you muffin, only for you,” He whispered to me, and that spot felt tingly.
“What do you think?” I asked and ignored his comment.
“Him, it’s wonderful,” He stared at my arrangements.
“You think so?” I asked still nervous, like it was some client and not our friends that was coming over.
“I know so,” He kissed my hands when the doorbell rang and he oukked away.
“Great, they are here, ” I arranged my floral gown, which was pretty much arranged.
“Come on, let’s welcome our guest,” I soar to him, and he smili mad walked to the front door.
“Hi ladies,” I pulled my girls in a tight hug and collected the flower they had brought for us.
“Hold on, you both are glowing,” Ava said excitedly.
“Everything, tell us everything that happened on this trip,” She looked so excited while I laughed as another doorbell rang and I could guess it was Tristan’s friends.
The house was filled up, there was laughter, small talk, and food as we all just chatted and had an amazing time. Once everyone was getting a bit tired, I brought out the present and gave every one of them.
“Tristan and I just wanted to thank you all for being in our life. You all have been amazing people, friends, and family to us. Have this token from our heart to you all, just a small gesture,” I told them truthfully, a smile was plastered on my face while I took note of their reaction and how joyous their face was. I wanted this moment to be imprinted in my memory, I wanted to keep it and remember that we completely had a good time.
“Let’s be realistic, this was all Isabella doing?” Dylan said and immediately the boys agreed, and even the girls joined them leaving me stunned.
“That’s not what happened, he..” I was trying to explain but Tristan cut me off,
“Of course, you didn’t think I’d be buying you a gift, or did you?” Tristan said to his friends, and immediately Dylan threw him a pillow while they ran after each other, making the rest of us laugh.
“Oh my gosh,” I laughed staring at them.
*Bedtime*
We were done organizing the whole place with the rest of the maid when it was time for Tristan and me to retire to bed. Well the bed, I sighed.
You see it’s been two days already since the trip, but we’ve been sleeping in separate rooms. For me, I was scared of having another sign pop up like that in front of Tristan and he now has to worry for me instead of the company.
For Tristan, I could feel it was the whole child, a weird thing. We didn’t go into details talking about it, we just shut the matter down so quickly.
I stare at him, hoping he will call on me before I reach my door, and just like that he does.
“Muffin,” he said and I hated, slowly turning around to him like that wasn’t what I prayed for.
“Stay with me,” He held my hands and I stared at him.
“For tonight?” I asked him. I didn’t want to get my hopes up when this wasn’t going to go the eat I wanted. I needed to be sure that we were both there and it wasn’t in my head alone.
“No,” He responded.
“I don’t know,” he sighed, and I pulled my hands away about to leave.
“Not just for tonight,” He looked at me.
“What do you mean?” I asked him innocently.
“Stay for every night,” his hands, rubbed my cheeks, making me feel warm inside.
“Every night?” I said calmly.
“I meant every day and night.” He looked frightened, while I almost chuckled but I held it in.
“What I meant was that,” he paused, and looked at me skeptical.
“Yes love,” I urged him to speak.
“Move into this room with me, let’s stay as a couple,” He stated, and I could feel my stomach leap for hit, upon hearing that.
“You mean as husband and wife?” I hid my excitement and asked him.
“Yes, as husband and wife,” he said and held my other hand, pulling me towards himself.
“So what do you say?” His eyes searched mine for an answer and my lips curved until a smile.
“I thought you would never ask,” I bite my lips and stare at him.
“Oh muffin,” He said and immediately kissed me, taking me a surprise. I closed my eyes reciprocating to the kiss with the same pace as his.
“Hmm,” he breathed out, and opened the door to his room swiftly, he kicked the door open, kissing me as he pushed me into his room until my body landed on the bed, causing me to gasp.
