Isabella
After that intense moment, we decided to take a stroll outside. We got dressed up and went to the beach, walking, holding hands, and talking. I wore a satin backless dress in champagne color, while Tristan wore a white button-up shirt with black shorts and sandals. While I wore golden sandals too.
We had a picnic basket with us, which had snacks, fruits, and wine filled in it.
“Should we stay here?” I asked him, as he pointed at a spot under a tree, where we could sit under its shade and still enjoy the view of the ocean.
“Sure thing,” I smiled at him, and we walked to the tree.
“It’s relaxing,” I told him, enjoying the sound of the water.
“It is,” His gaze is still on the ocean.
“It makes me kind of miss home,” I laughed lightly.
“Like your mom and everyone?” He asked and I nodded my head in response.
“Do you miss your mom?” I asked him nervously. I’ve never heard anything about her, and neither did he try to mention it.
“I don’t know, considering the fact that I never met her,” He breathed out and I felt sad for asking that question.
“I’m so sorry,” I said quickly.
“It’s okay muffin,” he squeezed my palms and smiled at me, while my body relaxed.
“Can I ask you something?” I looked at him.
“Go on,” He stated and glared at me.
“What was your relationship with Lily Allen like?” I asked him and he sighed deeply.
“Lily Allen,” he paused as if thinking of what to say to me.
“It was pretty arranged by our family,” He shrugged like it was nothing, but I needed to know. Did the woman I made disappear from his life, any important to him? I truly wanted to know.
“So there were no feelings whatsoever?” I asked him, taking in a deep breath.
“There was care from my side,” He told me truthfully, and I felt my heart hurt a bit.
“Maybe she was important?” I thought.
“But now I know that we meant nothing to each other in whatever way, ” He said with so much certainty that I smiled in relief upon hearing that.
“So you’re not mad that I kidnapped her?” I pressed on. I wanted to see his reaction, that should tell me if he cared affectionately or if he didn’t.
“Oh muffin,” he chuckled, and my body relaxed seeing the smile on his face.
“I know you didn’t kidnap her, she made a deal with you and found a way out,” He caressed my hands and I released a deep breath immediately.
“How did you know,” I breathed out surprised by his utterance.
“We’re you aware from the beginning?” I was a bit shaken by that revelation. I have been worrying for nothing.
“Nope, just recently,” he laughed.
“I’m pretty sure, she would have left without you,” He sighed looking a bit lost in thought.
“So you’re not going to ask why I did it?” I looked at him, and he seemed a bit uncomfortable with my question.
“I’ve always wanted to know, but right now we are in a good place and I want to believe we’ve been able to change whatever impression we have of me,” He stared deeply at me.
“Yes you have, and I love where we are now,” I smiled at him, and he kissed my cheeks.
“Okay, let’s celebrate that, ” He opened a bottle of wine and poured it into our glass for the both of us.
“Cheers,” I said and clicked my glass with his, before having a sip.
“I want to take pictures,” I immediately stood on my feet and rushed to the beach. Thankfully there were just a few people around the place so I didn’t feel shy to pose.
“Isabella, what am I supposed to do?” He asked and I laughed at the question.
“Just set it this way, and click here,” I showed it to him, and he nodded. I went back to the beach and posed happily while he smiled taking pictures of me.
“How do I look?” I asked him.
“Absolutely gorgeous,” he stated and I blushed.
“I want one with you,” I pouted and ran to his arms.
“Muffin,” he groaned not so pleased by my ideas.
“Just a selfie or two,” I pouted my lips and he gave in reluctantly.
“Look at the phone,” I said to him, pointing at the phone and just standing around their stuff, staring at the phone as I had instructed.
“Smile, do something, hold me,” I felt frustrated and immediately he pulled me by my waist making me gasp, when I clicked the icon and, I heard the sound.
I stared at him, while his hands went around my neck, and he leaned in for a kiss. My hands were still in the air with the phone, as our tongues rolled against each other. He kissed me, his hands on my neck, as he pulled me to himself when I took another shot again unknowingly before my hands fell slowly causing my mind to be filled with the kiss.
“Muffin,” he cooed so lovingly, and rubbed his thumb on my lips, while my legs wobbled at what he had just done.
“Come on,” He held my hands as we walked towards the tree where we sat before.
“Come on, let’s take a look at the pictures first,” He made a tired face and I snickered.
“You know I did all that for you,” He smiled and took his hands away walking on his own.
“But it seems like you enjoyed the kiss,” I laughed, but he chuckled and sat down staring at me.
“Whatever you say muffin,” he smiled.
“Whatever,” I laughed, swiping through the three photos I took and a blush appeared on my cheeks.
“I love the pictures,” I waved my phone at him.
“I’m glad you do,” He stared at me, while I got to where he sat.
“Come on love, let’s pack up,” He said simply.
“Catch me if you can,” I kissed his forehead and ran backward smiling brightly.
“Isabella,” he stared at me, but I giggled and continued running.
“Come back here,” He commanded.
“Make me,” I shrugged my shoulders at him.
“You better run,” He stood on his feet and chased after me, while I shrieked running faster.
“Come here muffin,” I turned around to see he was reaching to me.
“Tristan,” I laughed loudly, increasing my pace, but he caught up with me and immediately grabbed me from behind, lifting me while I giggled.
“Oh muffin,” he brought me down carefully and turned me around to face him while the breeze blew around us, scattering my hair around.
“Hey,” I was breathing heavily from the run while staring at him.
“I think I’m falling in love,” Tristan breathed out looking at me, and my heart skipped when he said those words. And for a moment, we stood there in that wind gazing at each other till our soul was satisfied.
