Tristan
It was Monday morning, and a smile spread across my face at how wonderful the weekend was for myself and Isabella. Things were looking up for us, and everything felt amazing. We talked throughout the day about stuff, got on each other nerves a bit, and still enjoyed each other company’s. It was so lovely that there wasn’t any of that awkwardness around us, and I didn’t know if I had my friends to be thankful for, for their absolutely good advice.
When grandfather came, after he had called some weeks ago, I knew it wasn’t just a simple visit. He had congratulated me first on the successful sales of the new product we had just recently launched.
He came to talk about his retirement and inheritance. More like who is going to be the head of the company after he officially steps down from the seat.
When Isabella hugged me, I felt so much better that I forgot I argued with Grandpa.
“What’s going on?” She asked me. I was skeptical about telling her, but remembering the advice from my friends, I sighed.
“Grandpa wants to retire soon,” She gasped. She had worked for me, for a few years and she could get a hint of what it’s like to be in my family.
“So what does this mean? Are you going to compete for his seat?” She looked concerned, and I was glad she got a hint, even before I could say anything.
“I’m just going to spend my time with you,” I responded to her and placed a kiss on her forehead.
I fixed my tie while staring at the mirror as I grabbed my briefcase, and walked out of the room, to eat breakfast and leave for the office.
“Good morning,” she smiled at me, also walking out of her room.
“Good morning,” I responded, also smiling at her. She looked gorgeous.
She always takes my breath away with the way she smiles, the way she talks, the way she moves, the way she breathes. She was absolutely breathtaking. I walked towards her, and I could see the little blush on her cheeks, making my heart skip.
This woman had such a hold on me that I’ll let myself be consumed by her, for me she was my everything, and I plan on making sure it stays that way.
“You look beautiful,” I told her and collected her bag from her. It might be her normal pants and her blazer, but on Isabella, it looked unique.
“Don’t start,” She pointed to me and gave me a playful glare at my compliments.
“Okay,” I smiled and kissed her cheeks, taking her by surprise, before rushing away from her.
“Let’s go have breakfast,” I smiled staring at her frozen state probably five steps away from her.
“Tristan,” she called out, and immediately I rushed down the stairs before she could catch up to me.
Isabella
I didn’t have a choice, I just had to tag along with him. After all, he offered to give me a ride to the office. I could feel the butterflies in my stomach, as we took the ride together. His hands spread across the seat, while mine did the same as our fingers brushed against each other.
It felt like I was a teenage girl who had just been held by her crush for the first time. The surge of electricity was felt all over my body, as his fingers touched mine, gently playing with my hands. Our head was faced straightforwardly like we weren’t playing with each other fingers.
“Where are we going?” I immediately turned to stare at Tristan confused, because this wasn’t the turn to the office.
“Shopping,” he smiled
“Do you need something?” I asked him, and he didn’t respond but just held my hands, while we kept going.
I didn’t say anything but just sat back too, until we arrived at a boutique. I turned my head, and I looked at him confused as it started to click. It was the biggest clothing store in LA.
“Are you coming down,” Tristan smiled at the excitement written all over my face.
“No way,” I gasped as we walked into the beautiful store. My eyes wanted to scan around, but I kept my cool and walked beside Tristan our hands locked to each other.
“Good morning, Mr. Tristan,” the front Lady greeted with a big smile.
“Good morning, Mrs. Tristan,” she also smiled at me, and immediately I turned to Tristan happy that she addressed me properly.
“This way,” She directed us, and we followed behind, while Tristan’s bodyguard followed behind us.
“Did you like being called by my name that much?” He smiled at me brightly.
“Please, don’t flatter yourself,” I rolled my eyes at him.
“Then why didn’t you correct her,” He asked as we got to where dresses were kept.
“Because it was not her mistakes but yours, right?” I furrowed my brows at him.
“Why are we here?” I looked around confused, I thought he was shopping for himself, but he was in the women’s section.
“Here,” He said and handed over his credit card to me.
“Spend as much as you want, buy whatever you want,” He stated, and I looked at him, then back at the credit card, and chuckled like he was kidding with me.
“I’ll buy the whole store,” I said and folded my hands staring at him.
“Then so be it,” He sat on the soda there and looked at me, unflinching for a moment.
“How much is this entire store?” I turned to the girls who stood there listening to us.
“Ma’am?” They looked shocked, staring at Tristan, then back at me a bit shaken. The girl looked frightened, unsure of what to say, as she stared at the floor, while her body shook.
“Give her whatever she wants,” Tristan looked kinda pissed by the way she was frightened, while I looked at him taken aback.
“Don’t waste her time, get the owner,” His voice became deep and she immediately scurried away while the other girl, just stood there unable to say a word.
“I’m still going to shop with this card,” I waved it at him, but he was unshaken. I was working for this man, I knew he was rich, but how rich was he not to care about me squandering his money the way I pleased?
“Good morning sir, ma’am,” The older lady who seemed to be around my mom’s age said as she smiled at the both of us.
“You own this store, right?” I smiled at her.
“Mr Tristan?” She called as if it had immediately clicked in her head.
“Welcome sir. I hope the place is to your liking,” She said smiling at him.
“Go bring a bottle of champagne,” She tapped on the girl who came here with her, and she rushed off.
“Can I do anything for you,” She gazed at me politely.
“No it’s all sorted out,” I said and dismissed her.
“You don’t want the store anymore?” He looked at me.
“Are you trying to show off right now?” I folded my hands at him.
“No,” He shrugged his shoulders.
“Really,” I took a step further at him.
“No,” He repeated.
“I don’t believe you,” I said and placed my hands on his thighs, using the credit card to trace from his thighs, up to his waist
“Jesus, Isabella. What are you doing?” He could barely say audible while I kept looking at him, tracing the card around his chest.
“Did you try to show off,” I asked again, and he groaned like he was in pain.
“Maybe, just a little,” he responded in a deep breath, while I chuckled immediately and took my hands away from his thighs.
“And where do you think you’re going?” He pulled me, making me land on his chest.
“Tristan,” my eyes widened while I was at him.
“What do you think you’re doing?” I asked him, trying to pull away.
“You have to fix a little problem you created,” He whispered but I heard him clearly, which made my heart skip.
“There’s someone here,” I said to him and turned to look at the poor girl who had time to turn around immediately.
“You knew that and went on creating problems?” I swear I could feel that he smirked while he said that.
“I’m sorry,” I said to him.
“What did you say?” I rolled my eyes, knowing he couldn’t see me.
“I’m sorry,” I repeated.
“Good girl,” He said and helped me up, while he patted my hair.
“I’m going to have fun with your money,” I glared at him, and swayed my hips at him walking away ri have my shopping spree time to piss him off.
“You’ll be punished for this,” I heard him say as I walked off.
