“Can I join you?” He asked leaving me star struck at his words.
“Join me? Like on the bed?” I thought in my head, staring at him with my mouth hung open from the shock of what he said.
“What?” I finally managed to speak.
“The movie?” He pointed out, and I finally mouthed an “oh,” Like I didn’t understand him initially.
“The screen is small, so I don’t think it’s a good idea,” I immediately said, hoping that was enough for him to back off.
“What was he even doing here? I thought he was supposed to be out already with his friends maybe?” I thought frustrated, while keeping the shoes.
“But we could still share,” He suggested and I gave him a look of disapproval.
“Thank you for the shoes, again,” I said and started to push him out of the room.
“Wait,” He said before I could shut the door against his face.
“We could go to the living room,” his eyes gleamed as he said that, and I almost lost my balance with the way I stumbled backward.
This man has got to be kidding me, first, it was the gym and now he is obviously trying to forcefully his way to be close to me. What exactly is your mission, Tristan? I asked no one in particular, as I glared at him.
“You could watch movies on your own. You don’t need me in the living room with you,” I told him rudely.
“But I want you with me,” He said sweetly and I rolled my eyes at him. Maybe he thought that was going to do something to me, but this girl has thick skin, and ain’t no way I would be moved by just mere words.
“No,” I said about to shut the door at him, when he placed his hands on the door, making me shirked in shock.
“Are you crazy?” More like I was cussing at him for what he did. What if I had jammed the door against his fingers and hurt him?
But he didn’t seem to care about me yelling at him, he looked at me calmly, unfazed that he might have been hurt. He smiled at me before he spiked again.
“Please muffin?” He asked, making a sad face, cause I could tell it was a fake one. He looked funny, it made me chuckle as I stared at him, while he went on calling me that name I didn’t like.
“I’m not a muffin,” I half yelled and he chuckled seemingly not caring about what I just said.
“So would you watch a movie with me, muffin?”
Oh damn him, I’m sure he added the last part to just taunt me. He wanted to provoke me, and it was working.
“If I say yes, would you stop calling me a muffin,” I said, and his face lit up.
“Maybe,” He bent to my height and whispered in my eyes, sending shivers down my spine.
“Good Lord, help me,” I did a prayer in my head, before going to my room to grab my blanket.
“Let’s go,” I said and he helped me close my door, as we walked down the stairs to the living room.
“So what movie should we watch?” He asked me, and instead of responding to him, I went ahead to play my series on the screen.
“Great. Gossip girls,” He didn’t seem too pleased but didn’t say anything either.
I sat on the couch facing the TV and got comfortable as I covered myself with the blanket and rested my head, ready to have a good time.
But that was cut short when Mr. Devil interrupted me by sitting beside me, he looked at me with a small smile and sat pretty close to me, and there was barely any barrier between us. Mind you, this couch was huge, pretty big, and enough for the both of us to stay without having to come in contact with each other. But Tristan here, had a better idea of what the sitting position should be like.
I didn’t say anything and pretended to assume that the place I sat was maybe his favorite spot and he wanted to be there. So I stood up from there and went to the far end, giving us a huge gap and hoping that would be enough for him.
But I guess right at what happened next. He rose on his feet and walked to where I was sitting and sat there to, once more close any barrier between the both of us.
“You’ve got to be kidding me?” I huffed staring at him, before once again standing up and this time he stood up with me.
“Oh my God!” I yelled at him, and he looked at me frightened like a child. “What do you want? “I asked him with a glare still on my face.
“Nothing,” he answered.
“Then why are you following me? ” I raised my eyebrows at him waiting for an explanation.
“I wanted to stay in the best position to enjoy the movie,” He responded and I scoffed.
This man would make up anything out of the blue and assume I’ll have it, huh?
“Do not get close to me Tristan,” I pointed my finger at him and gave him a warning, before going to sit in my first position and obviously he joined, causing me to sigh deeply.
We stayed like that staring at the screen an hour later with no interruptions which I was grateful for. I had felt him steal glances at me at different intervals but pretended not to know. I felt myself started to feel a little cold, so I grabbed my blanket from where it lay and used it to cover my legs.
I got comfy and rested my legs on the couch while covering my body with the blanket when I felt his hands around my blanket, and he immediately pulled it to himself
“What are you doing?” I asked him
“Covering myself with that,” He pointed at the blanket, bringing his hands to pull it to himself again when I yanked it away from him.
“And why would you do that?” I raised my brows at him.
“Well because you did it too, “he said simply, like a child.
“What the hell is wrong with him? Why is he hell-bent on pissing me off?”
“Go get yours?” I told him angrily, pointing in the direction of the stairs.
“But yours is so big, so we could share muffin,”
Oh, that name! How much I hated it. I felt myself almost losing my last nerve.
“Don’t call me that,” I said, taking in a deep breath. I wasn’t going to lose my shut to Tristan Dominic.
“Okay,” He said and tried to pull the blanket from me when I also pulled harder causing me to pull him along with the blanket as I fell flat on the couch, while his face landed on my boobs.
“Wtf!”
