Nicole POV
Sliding off the bed, I sauntered into the bathroom to have my bath.
I can’t believe I slept so much dreaming about that pretty girl I met at Ethan’s place.
It’s been two days already, but I still can’t get her off my head. There’s this great urge to get back at Ethan’s place, not for anything else, but to see her face.
God! Now this is me getting attracted to a girl.
Is this what they call love at first sight? No! But I can’t deny that my heart thumps so hard every time I imagine her cute little face.
Wrapping a towel around my body, I walked back into the room to dress up for work.
Alright! Who knows the relationship between Ethan and that girl?
The Ethan I know is not a one woman’s man, and he’s never been trapped down by a lady, and that girl I saw with him doesn’t seem like the bitchy type.
“Come have some bread, Nicole.” Mom called up to me as I slid my feet into the shoes.
“Good morning to you too, mom.” I greeted.
I pecked her softly on the cheeks carrying my bags.
“I’ll find something to eat at the company,” I said. “I’m late.”
Mom sighed, her eyes narrowed. “You slept so late?”
“Not really, mom.” I grinned.
Pecking her cheek for the last time, I sauntered out of the room and hopped inside the car.
Oh pretty! I don’t know what you did to me.
For the first time in my life, a girl totally got me off the hook, confused and totally smitten.
A faint smile crept onto my lips as I pictured her face in my head again.
Goddamned it! She’s the most perfect God creation I’ve ever seen.
With that cute little face, her honey brown curly hair and her bright beautiful orbs that glowed so beautifully without the help of the chandelier.
Oh please. I’d do anything to kiss those pouty lips, and remind me of those moderate boobs that stay hidden inside her red body hug gown.
I’ve never seen a lady so perfect that got me completely hooked by the sleeves in my life.
The car pulled to a halt at the congested park and I quickly hopped down and sauntered into the company.
I sucked in a deep breath, with a faint smile on my lips.
Hmm… This is how I’ve been spending my life every year.
Wake up and make my way down here.
But how will it be if I have a woman in my life? Not just some woman, but someone like ‘ my ‘ pretty.
Dawn! I even love her name. She’s bright just like the dawn. Her enthralling smile glowed just like the morning sun.
I wonder what she’s doing with Ethan, and how on Earth did that goddess meet a manwhore like my brother.
“And what could probably be eating you up like this?”
I flinched, and a short low yelp escaped my lips.
“Grandpa?”
“Aren’t you going to enter?” He mumbled.
“Oh…” I quickly stepped into the elevator and pressed the floor.
Oh! How could I totally be carried away not to know that I stopped a moving elevator?
“How was your night, grandpa?” I smiled at him.
Grandpa snorted. “You bet it’d be good, do you?”
I merely smiled at his comments. After all, I’m not ready to listen to his complaint about how Ethan has been a complete playman as he always said and how I had known nothing except to work my flat ass off.
“I’ll go now, grandpa,” I gave a short bow when the elevator opened. “Have a nice day.”
“And you too, Cole.”
With a smile on my face, I walked inside my office.
Perhaps, today is going to be a great day.
Ethan POV
“Wow! Wow! I can’t believe I’m finally here!”
I watched, with a smile as Dawn fo around flipping herself on the sofa all giddy with excitement. Her face was glowing and beaming with a smile.
“I can actually work here?”
She’s asked that over a zillion times, and I had answered her over a zillion times too.
Not that I’ll ever get tired of her asking me that question, even though I’m happy that she’s so excited enough to be acting all cute and silly.
“As my PA though,”
“I do not care!” Dawn grinned.
She walked around her chair close to mine. Her finger glided over the table’s edge and the chair.
“I love this, Ethan.” She beamed
Right! It’s evidence on her face. Her smiles, her glittering eyes and the blotches of red shade on her cheeks.
“Now I won’t be bored.”
Exactly! And with me here.
“We can also have fun too,” I said with a smug smile.
“What…? What fun?” Dawn creased her brows.
Tch! Look at her acting all cute and innocent.
I’m not gonna have her here with me just for some exhibition. Aren’t we gonna have an office romance? No! A bit of fun would do right?
“What… are you talking about?”
“Fun…” I grinned. “F U N!”
Dawn palmed her face, trying to hide her bloated red cheeks from me.
“Cute…” I chuckled. “Now shall we start?”
