“Will you tell me that my eyesight is unclear, so I agreed to the project or will you say that I am just confused?” Selena’s cold voice emerged, she had been restraining herself from confronting this woman for constant provocations directed at her mentor.
Johanna fell to the ground after a strong slap, before she could turn and get annoyed, she paused when she saw Selena’s cold expression. “Ms. Selena, I don’t know how Victoria caught your attention, but-”
“But what?!” Selena said coldly, cutting off Johanna before she could speak. “If you continue to talk nonsense, I assure you that it won’t just be a slap you’ll receive,” she added before walking towards Victoria.
“Do you know that I can sue you for the defamation and baseless accusations you’re throwing here?” Lucas said coldly.
“But, how can Manager Felix act cautiously in front of a mountain girl? How can she eat three premium dishes at a high-end restaurant without paying?” Johanna was confused as to why Lucas didn’t believe her.
“Idiot!” Lorenzo muttered under his breath.
Lucas didn’t respond but raised the microphone. “Allow me to introduce my dearest woman, my one and only wife, Victoria Casella. We’ve been married for over three years.”
Johanna stepped back upon hearing what Lucas said. “Impossible! How did Victoria become your wife?!” Johanna said in disbelief.
Erica and Kc were also stunned. “Wait, how did Victoria become the chairman’s wife?! Wasn’t it Johanna?” Kc asked in shock.
Manager Jen grinned. “It’s your fault if your vision is blurry and you’re weak at observing.”
The two looked at Manager Jen. “What do you mean we’re weak at observing? Are you saying you’ve known all along that Victoria is the chairman’s real wife?!” Kc said in disbelief.
“Didn’t you notice when we dined at the high-end restaurant? Didn’t you see that Victoria was more familiar with the place? Didn’t you realize that Victoria didn’t mention what she was going to eat but they knew what to serve her? Didn’t you notice Manager Felix’s behavior towards her? You believed Johanna’s baseless claims and were blinded by the truth,” Manager Jen pointed out everything that happened in the past and scolded them.
The two seemed to awaken after hearing Manager Jen’s words. They thought there was sense in what she said. They looked angrily at Johanna, who felt a chill as she noticed the sharp looks from the two. “What do you want?” she said, feeling scared.
“Johanna, you’re really good at pretending! You really fooled us!” Erica said coldly.
“You really made us believe you were the chairman’s wife,” Kc added.
Johanna retorted, “When did I ever say I was the chairman’s wife? You all suddenly called me the chairman’s wife, I just went along with what you were saying.”
“Why didn’t you deny it then?!” Erica shouted.
“Is it my fault that you’re all gullible?” Johanna replied.
The two felt embarrassed and quickly approached Victoria, kneeling down. “Madam Victoria, please forgive us, we were blind and didn’t recognize you, this is Johanna’s fault for pretending to be you and offending you,” they begged for forgiveness.
“The company doesn’t need people like you, it’s a good thing that I had someone impersonating me, or else, I would’ve been the one you’d be sucking up to,” Victoria said coldly.
Selena smiled next to Victoria, “you three wasted the opportunity to work with an international designer.”
The three were confused, “what do you mean, Ms. Selena?” Kc asked.
Selena smiled before mysteriously saying, “did you not wonder why I didn’t get angry when she kept me waiting for so long?”
Kc shrugged, “I thought you were just being too nice.”
“I think it’s a small matter for a professional like you,” Erica added.
“It seems like you all need to get your eyes checked, they’re too blurry,” Selena sarcastically remarked.
“Ms. Selena, what do you mean?” Johanna asked, her face swollen.
“What I mean is, Victoria is my mentor,” she said with a smile.
“A mentor?!” Erica exclaimed in surprise.
“Victoria is V?! How did this happen?!” Johanna said in disbelief.
“That is right, Victoria and V are the same person, idolized by many in the field of jewelry design, the genius in jewelry design is none other than Victoria,” Selena said with a smile before smiling at Victoria.
Lucas was also surprised by the unexpected news, “You’re V?” He couldn’t believe it.
Victoria smiled before nodding, “this is the surprise I wanted to give you, were you surprised?”
Lucas smiled, “you really did surprise me. I was thinking about how to talk to V to promote the new project, but I thought she was too busy so I chose Selena. I didn’t realize you’ve been with the company for a long time.”
Victoria smiled sweetly, happy for herself and for Lucas, thinking she could help him in this way.

Victoria smiled before hugging Lucas, “all my hard work is for you,” she said emotionally.
Lucas patted her back, “I love you,” he whispered sweetly.

In a large villa in the eastern part of Rome, an old man sat with a cigarette in his mouth. When Lucas saw this person, he will become angry as he wanted to tear him apart, and in front of him was a humble man.
