Before I could even blink Kylee ran down the stairs.
“I should have just kicked you down these stairs when I had the chance” I told her.
“I’m sorry sir but you pay me hundreds of thousands of dollars to schedule your meetings and everything is ready and I have tasked myself with you as my priority… It’s an obligation to get you to those meetings”
“Kylee” I called and she just ran out of the door.
I cursed under my breath and thought of following after her but then I heard the bedroom door upstairs open.
I climbed the stairs and found Jenna in a robe.
“Good morning love” I said, she was smiling at me.
I couldn’t just stand there and not kiss her beautiful lips.
“Hope you slept well” I told her touching her collarbone placing a kiss there.
“I did”
“Breakfast is ready downstairs”
“I heard a female’s voice, who was it?”
“Kylee, my assistant. I need to go in search for her before the end of today ‘
“Why?” She asked.
I held her fingers up and kissed them.
“Well, I’m supposed to be going on a two day business meeting, the trip is meant to last week but I can’t stay without you for a week so I cut other unimportant things… I was left with two days and now I decided that I can’t stay without you for two days straight. I asked her to cancel my plans but instead she ran away and now she’s going to inform the other businesses men that I’m set for the meeting. She knows I can’t keep them waiting without showing up so she’s trying to put me in a tight spot”
Jenna laughed.
“You can go two days without me, I’m not that important ” she said matter of factly.
“I can’t ” I said, slightly angered that she was taking it lightly and saying she wasn’t important, she felt like my entire world.
She turned to me with those big doe eyes, I felt all my anger wash away.
“You’re obsessed with me” she said punching me on my shoulder and chuckling.
“I just know that I would die without holding you for two straight days” I said pulling her chair so she can sit on it.
“I know I might sound a little bit intensive but in actuality, I don’t think I can stay without you for two days too”
I smiled, so this is what love did to people.
“We can go together” I told her.
“When are you leaving?” She asked me.
“Tomorrow morning”
“Oh… I have an Andreas interview tomorrow, I’m worried they’ll drop me if I don’t attend”
“They won’t drop you” I told her.
“You don’t know that” she said picking a biscuit and dipping it in gravy.
“I do, I bought Andreas” I told her, she looked from her plate to me and she stopped chewing.
“You bought it, like a branch or?”
“No, I bought the whole thing, the whole franchise ”
She stared at me in shock and surprise, I could give her the stars if I had to.

“Nice to finally meet you Jenna ” Kylee, Christian’s assistant said to me, I was taken aback, the that she used my nickname so casually and she was smiling at me.
Formerly, she never smiled at me when ever she saw me. I used to think of her as clean cut workaholic, she could match Christian’s excessive business energy with ease but now she was actually grinning and stretching her hand out to me.
I took her hand, it was soft and warm.
“I’ve heard a lot about you sweetheart, Christian Never shuts up when you’re the topic, he goes on and on and on for hours”
“Kaylee, what treachery are you up to this time?” Christian asked appearing in front of the door of the Rolls Royce we were seated in.
He was wearing a tailored midnight black suit, it fitted him perfectly and showed every bulge of his muscles, it was a beauty to behold, I prayed I wasn’t blushing too hard.
“Nothing sir, I was just telling her how much of a great boss you are” Klyee said smiling.
Christian leaned in and kissed me, it left me light headed every single time.
He got into the car.
“Are you guys going to be kissing through out the ride, if yes then I would appreciate it if you threw me out of the window now that the car is moving at high speed ” Kylee said.
“Be careful of what you wish for Kylee, I can throw you out of this window and ask the driver to run you over”
“My ghost would haunt you.. I’m certain my ghost is the grim reaper ” she said and she pulled out at laptop from a black bag and placed it on her lap.
Their relationship was.. Very very wordy, a little bit dreadful and cute.
I felt Christian’s hand on mine, I turned to him but he was looking out the window.
After a while, we drove into an underground garage in a very tall skyscraper.
“I’ll show Jenna the waiting room and I’ll join you” Klyee said taking my hand.
Christian kissed me and he went into the elevator.
“We’ll go through the front door” Klyee told me.
She led me through the lobby, security was tight as fuck, many other people were standing in a queue to get clearance but Klyee told them she was with Christian and they let us through immediately.
The others in the line were groaning in frustration and saying that it was not fair that they had to wait and we could pass, even when they were staffs.
“Nothing is fair when you have money” Klyee muttered under her breath.
“We would not take long, anything you need will be provided just tell them you’re with Christian, if you get hungry, the cafetaria is dope as fuck, anything you need is down there. Just don’t get lost because this place has ninety seven floors”
I tried to listen closely to every sentence she said and I nodded at the end.
“Anything else?” She asked.
“No, I’ll be fine here”
“Great” she said and with that she left.
I went to sit on a very soft and fluffy chair.
“Gosh, so comfy” I groaned feeling as if I was melting into a cloud.
The door flew open violently and it made me sit up straight.
A girl with red dyed hair walked into the waiting room, her eyes fell on me and she shut the door.
“Are you Jenna?” She asked me and I nodded wondering how the fuck she knew my name.
“You must wondering who I am…” She said with a smirk. “I’m Christian’s girlfriend”
