CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-SIX
CATHERINE’S POV
“I’ll kill you right now and get away with it”, she stuck the knife right at my throat. I stood still because if I moved it would have probably cut me.
“Hayley you have to stop it”, the bike lurched up in my throat as I made those statements.
I wished I had never come back to Crescent Park, and now my children are going to have to grow up without their mother. A scream catches my throat, choking me but I can’t look away from her eyes.
“I’ll cut off your tiny little guts”, the fierce nature of her voice vibrates through every crevice of my being. I act strong but deep down I want her to leave me the fuck alone.
“Hayley calm down, I’m your sister remember”, I begged.
“Kill her if you want to, and besides it’s important you know that nobody is on your side, you are on your own so you should do whatever you want”, Ava’s deadly voice came from her end.
I wanted to go into Ava’s cell and cut off her lips but she is lucky that our cells are barricaded so I can’t, immediately Hayley was distracted I rushed to the corner of my cell and hid there and then she reached for her pocket and then to my greatest surprise she brings out a gun from her pocket.
It’s even scarier than I thought it would be, I mean, “Just leave me alone Hayley, let me go I’ll take my kids as far and you’d never see me again”, I begged.
“I have always been the winner”, she chuckled like it was an inside joke.
“You a winner, you are a fucking Joke you can’t even kill this one I have to do you dirty jobs for you every single time, you are so weak Hayley, it’s high time you get your facts correctly”, Ava mocked.
” Ava can you please stop it, you are making matters worse, I am trying to get her to leave me alone”, I yelled.
” That’s why I am in the picture baby, she should kill you, you don’t deserve to live, I have never liked you for my brother you know, you come back to Crescent pack and play all this righteous fuck with me, hell no Hayley fucking shot or stab her”, Ava laughed.
At this point, I didn’t have the slightest idea what to do. My heart continued to beat fast, the other prisoners in the dungeon just stared at the drama in front of them, I could see the fear in her eyes.
“Hayley you know I have kids, think about my kids”, I begged.
“Fuck you Catherine fuck your kids, you took everything from me, parental love, the only man I have loved and I want to be with and you said I shouldn’t kill you, you have no place on this earth you know”, she said.
“Yeah, you took everything away from her, that’s why I had to kill Grandma El, she was so in love with you that she had to snoop her witchy ass nose in my business, she did everything so that your life would be perfect so I got her out of the way, just the same way hayley is going to get you out of the way”, Ava mocked .
The moment I heard that Ava was responsible for Grandma El’s death, my brain lit up, I was so angry that I could feel the burning sensation in my brain.
“what you what? “, I asked surprised.
” You are surprised, well you should be, you think I would not have been able to pull up that stunt behind bars you underestimate me Catherine that’s where you problem starts from, well since you’re going to die it’s important I tell you so you can take this information to hell, it is with a heavy heart that I am telling you Catherine Burke that I killed your grandma El”, she scoffed .
” Ava what, and I came to meet you for help, you have been manipulating me, in fact manipulating us all this while, you are the real enemy , to think I came to ask you for help on how to get back at Harley, she hurt my baby, you know that right, both of you are the same bunch of insane bitches”, I cried .
“Now you know the truth, take those crocodile tears to Satan where you are headed, I’m surprised you didn’t really know who I was all this while, w… w… what did this bitch think I was her friend, that’s hilarious, you should know better Catherine”, Ava laughed .
“Both of you should shut up, shut the fuck up so I can concentrate on what I am doing”, Hayley said pointing the gun at me, she had dropped the knife on the ground and opted for the gun instead .
“Hayley can’t you see she is manipulating us, your friend Ava, she is the game in this whole crisis we are just her players, you know she is going to still kill you after you’ve killed me, please drop the gun down let’s talk like sister”, I begged .
“Even if she is manipulating us, what make you think I would drop the gun and not kill you, you stole everything from me, you made my life nd miserable and now that I have found a little bit of joy in Burke, you have successfully taken him over and over again”, she cried .
I got really pissed about her statement at this point I don’t give a fuck whether she kills me or not she should know that Burke loves me .
“The only thing I am going to say now is that Burke loves me and I do too, so shoot me Hayley, pull the fucking trigger, are you scared now, come on baby pull the fucking trigger”, I screamed.
I moved very close to her, in order to get her pissed .
“Step back Catherine, step the fuck back”, she said her hands were shaking, but I cared less I moved closer to her and then the sound of the gun came off, she had pulled the trigger .
