CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN
AVA’S POV
There was silence in the room after my confession, Diago looked angry, or probably I couldn’t read his mind.
“Now, you are judging me, I have gone a long way Diago, so I don’t give two fucks about being judged,” I retorted, and he drew me towards the bed to sit on his erect cock.
“That one big fucking dream that I’ll love to help you achieve,” He asked, grabbing my boobs.
A smile spread across my lips as I took him into mine, tasting every inch of him.
“Where did we stop?” I asked, as his lips began nibbling on my neck, creating a love bite.
“We can not have sex now?” He said, breaking the kiss and ignoring my question.
“What? Why? Your cock is all up for me,” I question, climbing on top of him.
“I need to talk about El. You didn’t tell me about her, and I hear you and Harley talk about her a lot,” He inquired, pushing me on the bed, preventing me from having sex with him again.
“What is your problem, Diago? You have spent a while being a member of this crew, and you want to know everything that’s happening,” I yelled with a mixture of anger and frustration running through my veins.
“Yes, I think I need to know what is happening so I’ll help you and Harley achieve your goal; I thought you could see that,” He explained, looking frustrated as well because cock was still erect and begging to be inside my pussy. He is punishing himself to punish me.
“Or you want to know what’s happening so you could run to Burke and screw Harley and me,” I blurted out, and the sharp pain in Diago’s eyes was undeniable, and I wished I could take back my words.
“What did you say to me?” He demanded angrily as he swallowed hard, trying to cool himself down.
“Look, I’m sorry I blurted out like that but…”
“You do trust me, do you?” He asked, looking into my eyes.
“What?” I answered his question with a question, not knowing what to say.
“You heard me loud and clear, Ava, do you fucking trust me?” He asked again, with his voice very stern and harsh, and his eyes burned red in anger, I think I have just woken the monster in him.
“The truth is that I don’t know; I want to trust you but don’t know if trusting you is the best decision,” I yelled, feeling vulnerable for the first time in a long while.
I expected Diago to yell, throw me out of his house naked, the way he did earlier, and I was ready for all that, but he didn’t, rather he took him close to him and placed my head on his chest and my naked boobs resting on his stomach.
“You can’t trust me, Ava, I have always loved you from the day I became the Alpha’s right hand, and I haven’t stopped loving you, although I can act like an asshole sometimes,” He said, patting my back romantically, making me chuckle.
How I wish Jaxon was like Diago a little. I would have fallen head over heels for him, but he isn’t, and Diago is getting into my head, and I’ll trust me even if he would take me into the devil’s chamber.
“El is the witch that helps us in most of the murders we do, but all of a sudden she turned her back on us and we think she wants to do something behind our backs that would make us lose what we have worked for, that’s why we want to kill her,” I stated, and he nodded his head in approval, without judging me.
“Is that all?” He asked and I shook my head.
“I have killed a lot of people, from Jack, Catherine, my father, and even some guards,” I confessed, and Diago still didn’t judge me or give me a disapproving look.
I’m so lucky to have a man like him that cares and I’m willing to let him into my inner circle.
“All to be the first Female Alpha of the Crescent pack,” He stated, and I nodded my head.
“I am surprised you aren’t judging me and telling me how evil I am,” I said, and he burst into a round of laughter.
“I’m not judging you because I know how it feels to be second best,” He said and I looked at him.
“Don’t tell me you had a brother who was your father’s favorite because I have always thought that you were the first son,” I said with a chuckle.
“My father’s first son is dead,” He confessed and my eyes widened in surprise.
“Did you… ”
“No, I didn’t kill him; he died in a war,” He chuckled as he said it.
“Then we are different from each other,” I said and he just smiled at me.
“I would have done it by myself but luck was on my side,” He said, pecking me on my forehead.
“I knew you would be fucking around him; why do you get to fuck all the men that come to join us,” Harley yelled as she pushed the door open.
“How did you… ”
“Don’t ask me how I knew you were here because even a dumb person like Burke would know you are fucking with Diago and didn’t do your job by getting El, killed,” Harley yelled, as she walked over the table and poured some alcohol for herself to drink.
“I didn’t kill El because I couldn’t find them in the coven. I searched everywhere for them, but I couldn’t find them,” I yelled, defending myself.
Diago kept quiet, as the atmosphere in the room shifted from romance to war.
“Did you tell me that? You come here to fuck around when we have things to do,” She yelled, looking very furious as she gulped the cup of alcohol.
“What would you have done if I had told you, you don’t even know how to make up plans,” I retorted, trying to get on her nerves because she got in mine.
“I would have told you they have a new location, and they are living on the outskirts of the pack, and we speak,” She revealed, and I stared at her in surprise.
“How the fuck do you know that?” I asked, trying to keep my cool.
“I hired some private detective to look for them,” She said, before gulping down more alcohol.
“That’s a very good job; tell my guards that all hands need to be on deck; El dies tomorrow evening,” I stated.
