ALLEN
“This is going to a week now. Where is she?!” I paced about in the mansion, desperate for an info on Evolet’s whereabouts.
After my mother left Wolf Fall with the sorceress, I decided to use that opportunity to give my whole time and attention to Eve, and try to win her over.
I was even ready for a fight with that disrespectful man who thinks he can make my Evolet his property when in my own pack.
But what happened when I visited her resident that night?
The place was locked.
No one was in!
I told myself with full faith that she and her mother must have gone out to attend a brief work or even taken a stroll around the pack. But when I chose to wait for their return, they never came back!
I became so mad!
It felt like she saw me at her house and decided to keep me there forever.
I got provoked and left, promising to vent my frustration on both mother and daughter the next day.
When the morning came, I went over to Evolet’s home and got the same result.
No one was at home!
“What kind of a game is this?!” I had sparked at that point, before rushing back into my car and down to her friend’s place.
I believed she was hiding there with her mother, just to get rid of me. But her friend’s house was the same as hers.
Nobody was inside. The doors were shut!
This sudden absence began to trouble me. It left me wondering if Evolet left Wolf Fall forever, or if she’s playing a mind game with me.
“No, I’m sure she’s around here somewhere. All I need to do is search, then I’ll find her,” I told myself, before heading back to the mansion.
I sent out guards to make inquiries about Eve’s whereabouts and give me a response as soon as possible.
“Why are you stressing yourself about her? I’m sure she’ll pop out any time soon. Just stop this,” Dean claimed, thinking I’m overreacting.
But I didn’t care. I just want to make sure my Evolet is still a part of this pack, or if that bastard has taken her far away from my reach.
I had to find out.
And this lasted for more than six days with no result of Evolet or her mother. Even the creep of a boyfriend was nowhere in the pack!
The guards couldn’t trace him or his friend.
I became frustrated and began sending guards to nearby packs to find them. Only a few came back to give me the same annoying reply, while I patiently waited for the others to return.
My mother soon noticed my behavior and wondered if I was being stressed out by the hunt, which is starting very soon.
“You need to relax, Allen. This isn’t your first time handling works like this. You are the Alpha,” she said, cupping my face.
“Be strong and show your people who rules this land. You are the king of Wolf Fall.”
“Yes, I am the king of Wolf Fall,” I repeated, feeling confident.
To her, I’m saying this to show the people, but to me… It’s to show Evolet that I have a right over her, as the Alpha!
“She can’t leave this pack without my permission. I will make sure she’s brought back here!” I vented within, preparing myself.
As I made plans on the eighth day, to move out to other far packs and bring Evolet back to Wolf Fall, a guard came over to pass me the greatest news I’ve been yearning for a whole week.
“Alpha, the Omega you seek for is back.”
“Really?” I felt my body shiver at that report.
The guard confirmed it by describing what he had seen at the entrance of the pack. “She wasn’t alone. There were two other ladies in the cab they came in. No other person aside from the driver. It seems they went on a trip or something.”
“A trip you say?” I hummed, pleased with the fact that she wasn’t with that lover of hers.
This is my chance to head down there and assert my right over her.
“You two, come with me,” I said, exiting my work room with the guards.
I didn’t tell my mother or my Beta about my outing. I just got into the car and drove down to Evolet’s place.
On getting there, I saw the windows opened. It was indeed a sign that she was back.
“You’ll have to answer me, Eve,” I groaned, parking my car right in front of her house, stepping out with a stomp.
As my guards and I matched up to the door, the doorway came opened wide with that annoying boyfriend of hers stepping outside to face me!
I was stunned to meet him here!
I thought that idiot said they were three ladies and a driver in the cab?
“Greetings. How may I help you?” The fellow greeted strangely, as he smirked right at me with that creepy eyes of his scanning my body.
What surprised me more was the way he came out of the house, almost as if he knew I was coming.
He leaned against the wall at the entrance and repeated his question, “How may I help you?”
“Move aside, Dog. I want to see the owner herself,” I ordered, drawing closer.
Before I could cross pass the door, this animal placed his hand on my chest, stopping me from taking another step forward.
He tilted his head to the side and said, “Look, Fancy boy… This isn’t your mansion, okay? If you want to see anyone from this house, then you speak to me.”
What is this nonsense?!
Is he claiming some kind of right over Evolet’s home?
“I believe if an outsider steps into your mansion to assert dominance, you as the Alpha would stand against it, right? Same thing I’m doing here.” He smiled, pushing me back disrespectfully!
“I’m the Alpha of this house, and I will not allow any madman inside, unless I allow it. So, it’s best you leave this place with your boys or otherwise…” He glared, threatening me before my own guards!
This was outrageous.
I felt my blood boiling at this fool.
“How dare you speak to me like that? Have you forgotten that I am the Alpha and I control your life?” I drew closer, dragging his shirt.
He dared to stare back with no fear, adding to my rage.
“If you don’t get out of my way, I’m going to make you regret it. Is that clear?” I warned, shimmering my wolf eyes at him.
When he saw this, he smiled and said, nodding at me like a coward, “My apologies, Alpha. Please, go in.”
“Better,” I scoffed, making my way to the door.
Before I could step into the house, I felt my shirt being pulled back from behind, with my body tumbling hard on the ground and straight at my guards feet!
It was so fast! What happened?!
“Alpha!” My men rushed up to pick me up from the dusty ground.
Did… did that fool just throw me out?!
I turned to face that dog and found him tossing his jacket aside. He glowered at me and said, “I don’t give a damn about your position. If you want to step inside, then you know what to do.”
He cracked his neck and crossed his arms, daring me to take him out!
Oh, is that what he wants?
Fine then, I’ll give him the beating he deserves.
