EVOLET
“This feels weird. Cadell likes when a lady is attracted to him. Why… Why did he…” I was perplexed by what I just witnessed.
It was hard to believe that Pervy Wolf had no interest in women. It’s like his favorite hobby!
“If he hasn’t be flirting with women at night, then what has he been doing?” I wondered, now curious to find out the truth.
That’s when Cadell made a move, leaving the spot he was in and mixing himself with the crowds. I also made my move, following him from behind with my eyes fixed on him.
Anywhere he passed, there were ladies who recognized him but couldn’t get Cadell’s attention. He just snubbed them, walking further away into the night.
“What have you been doing all this time?” I flashed to all those nights he would brag about his outing and dates with different women. But from what I’m seeing… Cadell has been lying to me. Why?
After following and stalking him, I soon realized where Cadell was heading to. “The mansion?” I stared at the Royal home ahead of us.
The area was now quiet and free of pack members. I watched Cadell as he swiftly got into the tallest tree across the road opposite the mansion, and sat on a branch to stare at the building.
Now everything became clear to me. Cadell’s so-called outing with women was a lie. He has been coming here to keep an eye on the Royal family for… for my sake.
“Cadell, why didn’t you tell me?” I felt hurt on learning this about him.
He’s not a pervert. He just acts like one.
He plays with different women whenever I’m around but in my absence he doesn’t get close to them.
“Trent knew that’s why he told me to follow Cadell. Pervy Wolf is no Pervert.” My heart grew heavier with sadness. I can’t believe he made me picture him that way.
“Damn you, Cadell! I feel like…” I paused on noticing Cadell’s head turning towards my point.
My body shuddered. I didn’t know if I should hide or run away from Cadell so he wouldn’t see me. But my heart… It wants him to notice me.
I kept my gaze on Cadell, feeling my heart beating fast. When his silver eyes fell at my direction, it stayed on me.
Cadell can see me. He knows I’m the one.
His silver eyes vanished swiftly like the wind with no trace of Cadell on the tree. But when the wind blew my hair from behind, I turned over and found him staring at me, with a smile crawling on his face.
“How long have you been stalking me?” He asked, carefully tucking my hair to the back of my ear. “Don’t get mad when you hear me calling you Miss Stalker,” he joked, sliding his finger down to my cheek.
His lovely smiles captured my heart beautifully. It became so hard for me to look into Cadell’s eyes after what I witnessed.
I no longer saw him as the naughty wolf who likes chasing women, but a charming man hiding his beauty from the world.
There are a lot of things I’m yet to know about him.
Soon, we were sitting on the tree, watching the mansion together. I was glancing at the guards moving around then back at Cadell, while he had his own eyes on Luna Violet’s statue.
He didn’t look away for a minute. His gaze were fixed on her.
Seeing how locked he was with the statue, I found myself feeling upset, and thinking of that intimacy between him and the late Luna.
Tightening my fist, I asked, looking to the side to suppress the heat rising in me, “So, this is what you’ve been doing all this time? You were never hanging out with your street girlfriends?”
“Since there’s no need to hide it…” I heard and turned over to look at him. He was still looking at the late Queen, but with a smile on his face. “Yeah. I was never hanging out with any pretty goddess. I’ve been coming here,” he confessed, finally facing me.
My face flushed, forcing me to take my eyes off Cadell. His gaze now hits harder than before. It affects my heart sweetly.
“So, you’ve been pretending to be a Creep? You act like you want all the women in this world to fall on you, when clearly you don’t fancy such. You were just acting… Why?” I asked, drumming my fingers on the branch and trying to maintain an eye lock with him.
“You should have just said you were keeping an eye on the Queen’s home than claiming to be going on dates! Why did you have to lie to me? It’s not fair.” I frowned, wrapping my arms across my chest.
My heart began to ache over this and it made me really sad.
“Why Cadell?” I asked, lifting my eyes to find his gaze on me.
He looked concerned at first but wiped it off with a smirk, saying while directing his eyes back at the statue, “I had no choice, Evolet. This Dark Blood had to do what was best, even if it eats him up.”
“What do you mean?” I asked, wondering what he meant.
Cadell turned over to my point and began drawing closer.
I tried to act like my normal self, but it wasn’t working out. My body shook, patiently waiting for Cadell’s touch. And when I felt his hand taking me by the face with his thumb stroking my lips, my heart melted.
I slowly caressed my face on his hand, almost losing myself.
That’s when his soft soothing voice came in, saying, “You saw Cadell avoiding other women and felt he’s not actually a pervert like you thought. But that’s not true. I’m still the same Pervy Wolf… when I’m around you.”
I gasped, hearing my heart beating faster.
“I don’t just head out at night to keep watch on the Royal home, but to hold myself from having you, Evolet.”
“What?” The heat in my body increased at Cadell’s words. My cheeks were burning.
I felt his right arm falling around my waist, with a strong pull drawing my body closer to his, sealing the little space between us. His eyes scanned my body before he dropped his head down on my neck, planting kisses on my skin.
I felt like exploding. It was too much for me to handle.
“Ca… Cadell,” I moaned out his name when his lips trailed my skin and his left hand fell down on my chest, giving me a squeeze on my right bosom.
“Haa!” A squeal escaped my lips when he squished harder, forcing me to wrap my arms around his neck. I could feel my body shaking at Cadell’s touch. It felt like my wolf was responding to him, ravenously.
“It’s hard for me, Eve,” Cadell whispered, pressing his body against mine. “Every day, every night… I always fight so hard to keep myself from making love to you. Your scent, your presence… I had to keep my distance away at night before I end up losing my senses,” he confessed, fondling himself on me.
“I’m naughty, I’m crazy… I’m like this because of my endless feelings for you. You are always on my mind and in my heart. And I know if I choose to stay one night and succumb to my cravings…” he paused, slowly pulling his face back to look into my eyes. Then he said, innocently, “It might lead to a problem for us.”
And just like that, Cadell pulled himself away, creating a space between us.
I felt this sharp pain in my heart when I saw the trouble in Cadell’s eyes. This crazy man loves me so much but can’t push hard to get what he wants.
I still remember the incident at the forest when my wolf was unleashed by accident. Cadell had that same hunger in his eyes when we caressed our body that night, kissing each other.
Since then, I’ve been hoping for something like that to take place between us, but… I’m so stubborn and envious to admit it.
Feeling the heaviness in my chest, I said, trying to keep things cool, “I guess it’s because of the wolf in me, that’s why. I mean… It belongs to the late Queen. You… you two are… lovers after all.”
“What?” Cadell uttered, looking at me. He squinted his eyes and asked, “Are you… jealous?”
“What?! Me, jealous? No!” I denied, chuckling out to hide the truth. “Why will I be jealous? I’m just saying what I know, nothing else.”
Cadell smirked, drawing himself closer.
With that look on his face, I suspected his plan to tease me. “I’m not jealous!” I raised my voice, and quickly covered it when I saw how loud I yelled.
“I’m not jealous, okay? Why will I be jealous of your past relationship with the late Luna? I’m just saying you’re feeling this way because of her wolf,” I explained through my hand, looking down at my lap.
“After all, I’m just the bearer,” I described myself, feeling… hurt.
Cadell, who was now closer than before, took my hands off my mouth and lifted my face to his point. As soon as I locked eyes with him, he kissed me.
My heart glowed at his savor, tempted to squeeze him into my arms.
When he drew his lips apart from mine just a little, he said, gazing into my eyes, “Even if you’re Violet or just a bearer for her wolf… You’re still the same person to me. You are Evolet. My Evolet. And I will never stop loving you. Never.”
His confession melted my heart. I could feel my tears welling out of my eyes.
Hooked by his words, I threw myself into Cadell’s arms, locking my lips with his.
He held me tight so we wouldn’t fall off the branch, kissing me back with all of his heart.
I don’t want to act stubborn and lie to myself any more. I do love Cadell so much. I want him to be by my side always and forever.
I love my Pervy Wolf.
“Evolet, wait,” I heard Cadell groan amidst the moment, pulling his lips back. And when I looked at his face while breathing out, I met his eyes glowing brightly, with his brown hair slowly changing into white.
The sight of his form aroused my desire even more, pushing me to proceed further with a kiss, sealing our lips together.
I know why he stopped. The reason is exactly what my body wants.
“Cadell… Take me home. I want you,” I whispered, running my hand on him.
He read my body language in an instant and got aroused by my call. His hair fully shifted to white, and his eyes… so beautiful. It was a sign his body was turned on, and all he could hear was my voice.
“I want you, Cadell,” I repeated, locking lips with him again.
And in a swift, I felt Cadell pull me into his hold, before zooming off like the wind.
His speed was remarkable.
When I opened my eyes to look at his face, I found myself falling right into my bed with Cadell’s body crashing down on mine, running his lips all over me.
He took off his jacket and shirt, all set to take me to a whole new world when he stopped and heaved out, kissing my lips one more time before saying, “Your gift… I want to see you in it.”
He was talking about the negligee he gave me.
I did promise to wear it for him, and it seems tonight is the night.
“Okay,” I whispered, rushing out of bed and straight for the wardrobe.
Taking out the attire, I took a look at Cadell and saw the way he gazed desperately at me.
My cheeks glowed red, as I made my way into the bathroom to change.
Once I got into the outfit, I shyly opened the door and gasped on meeting Cadell standing there, waiting.
His eyes ran all over my body, making me blush.
“Do… you like it?” I asked, biting down on my lower lip while trying to maintain an eye lock.
Cadell didn’t need words to respond back. His eyes did the talking. He couldn’t stop himself from lifting me off the floor and straight into bed, with our body connecting magnificently.
I never thought this day would come. I hope the night never ends.
As Cadell kissed and made an advance in stripping me off my lingerie, I noticed how his body weight increased, like he was shifting or something.
“Cadell,” I called, but he didn’t listen.
I wasn’t wrong about his body. He really was shifting in a crazy way, grabbing my body closer to his!
“Cadell!” I yelled this time, feeling his hands ripping my negligee from the side.
Still, he didn’t hear me.
Now I understood why he said he was afraid to get too close to me. He goes insane!
It wasn’t just his body that was reacting, but my wolf. I felt it trying to force itself out, engulfing me with its desire to connect with Cadell.
“Cadell, we need to stop!” I suggested, trying to get to him. But like the first and second call, he didn’t hear me.
Just when he was about to make his move, Cadell accidentally knocked off the wolf on my necklace.
I gasped when I saw it flying off! It gave my wolf the chance to unleash part of his energy which immediately alerted Cadell back to his senses!
He flashed his eyes at me and swiftly covered the room with his darkness, cleansing my energy from escaping out, before placing the wolf back on my necklace.
I sat up to get myself before looking at Cadell, who sat at the end of the bed, feeling guilty.
“I’m sorry. I… I lost it,” he chuckled, hiding his true feeling. “This is why i’m always out there.”
My heart ached on seeing how unhappy Cadell was. He blames himself for almost unleashing my wolf.
Hurt, I pulled myself closer and embraced him from behind, saying with all of my heart, “When all this is over, you won’t have to stay away from me any more.”
Cadell turned his head over to stare at me with a smile spreading across his lips.
It bloomed my heart, forcing me to embrace him tighter than ever.
