EVOLET
“So, nothing?”
“Nothing. I searched the sorceress’s chamber but didn’t feel a thing.”
“Then how did she sense Evolet that night? No, they must have hidden it in so well that you can’t even feel it.”
“Unless they are hiding it outside the mansion, then that would explain everything.”
Cadell and Trent were discussing about the piece of my energy that the Queen and her sorceress were hiding from us, while I was busy thinking about Fiona and how to give her a well served answer to her accusation.
When the Queen announced the after party for Fiona, I left the arena with Derby and the guys, making our way back to the house.
Derby didn’t stay too long. She had to leave early, still angry with the game. So the guys took that opportunity to talk, not realizing that I was absentminded.
“All I need is one opportunity to scatter her ego. When everyone sees that she’s not as pure as she claims to be, then BOOM! I win!” I planned in my mind, laughing out.
Cadell and Trent heard me chuckling and snapped me out of my thoughts, asking, “What’s funny?”
“Oh, nothing,” I lied, smirking.
They didn’t but my lie but sensed something cooking in my head. “Start talking,” Cadell said, dragging me to the couch to sit. “We noticed your mind hasn’t been with us since we left the arena. You are thinking of something else, so speak up.” He snapped his finger, sitting by my side.
I’m surprised they detected my behavior but said anything.
Trent sat at the other side and tapped me on the shoulder, gesturing me to open up to them. “What are you planning in that head of yours?”
I don’t plan on keeping them out of this plan. I mean… I need their help in getting back at Fiona. They are my buddies.
So, I opened up and told them about my past with Fiona and how she stabbed me at the back, causing a lot of problem between Mom and I.
“All this time I chose to ignore and let her get what she wanted. Even when she bullied me during the hunt, I held back, allowing her to get away with her tricks. But today at the arena when she portrayed herself as a saint, indirectly calling me the enemy… I felt the heat1” I tightened my fist, picturing the smile Fiona had on while acting holy.
“I want to teach her a lesson she won’t forget. She called me a backstabber, so yeah… I’m going to back stab her for real! When the whole pack learn the truth about her, then she’ll remember that Karma exists. I’ll show her!” I vented out, feeling fired up.
When I glanced at both Cadell and Trent’s faces, I found them gazing at me in amazement. Seems they never thought I could erupt like this.
“Habahaba! I love this feisty side of my baby girl. You turn me on,” Cadell flirted, bringing his face closer to mine.
Quickly, I pushed his face back, stopping him from getting near.
Trent showed his understanding to the matter by expressing his detest for Fiona. “She deserves whatever punishment you’re going to give her. And trust me, I’m going to help you with it.”
“Thank you, Trent. That’s why you’re my Kitty Cat,” I praised, caressing his face.
“Hey! What about me?!” Cadell sparked, getting jealous. He sat in-between Trent and I, taking my hands and showing his readiness. “I’m enough for you, Eve. I will wreck your enemy into pieces and give you the victory you deserve.”
“We are not breaking bones, Cadell. I just want to find a way to expose Fiona’s dirty secret to the public. And I know I can count on you two.”
“Of course, you can. We’re here for you,” Cadell assured with a wink, planting a smile on my face.
Now, all that I needed was the right opportunity to strike. I thought about the after party taking place, but it was too late to attend. And who knows, I might not get Fiona in my trap when the Queen is around.
I want a situation where she won’t be with the Queen or her mother.
And for you to see that the Goddess is in support of my plan, She moved a proud Fiona to dig up her own grave with her own hands.
The following morning, a guard came over to pass an invitation concerning a night party organized by their future Luna, Fiona. “The Alpha’s Luna has invited all damsels who took part in the hunt, to a party. She wishes to celebrate with all her friends, along with Alpha Allen. So, do attend. It will please her majesty.”
“Oh, I will. Thank you,” I accepted the invitation, appreciating the guard.
To them, it’s just the future Luna making plans to celebrate and express her joy with the others she defeated. But I know that the invite is to brag at my face. It’s no ordinary party. She wants to mock me before Allen.
“Thank you so much, Fiona. I will gladly attend your party tonight.”
I shared the news with Cadell and Trent, who didn’t hesitate to take me out shopping, carrying Derby along. She has no idea what we’re cooking up for tonight’s party. She just felt we were trying to look our best.
And by the word ‘Our,’ I mean with the guys of course.
They are coming with us since her royal highness didn’t say anything about no plus one. They will play a very big role in tonight’s event.
.
When the night came and Mom left for work, Derby and I went down to the venue with the guys. It was a big hall located at the east side of the mansion. It was a bit far from there, but not hard for anyone to walk down to.
On stepping into the hall filled with all the other damsels, Derby and I became the center of attention because of Cadell and Trent. We were the only ones who had a partner to this event planned by Fiona.
The others couldn’t take their eyes off the guys. They were lost in their charm. And when Fiona, who came with her wonderful Alpha, saw what was going on, she dragged Allen along to welcome us.
“Evolet! So nice to see you again!” She faked happiness, clinging to Allen like a leech.
Allen couldn’t even stare at me without glancing at Cadell. With the way I was holding pervy wolf and Derby with Trent, he could tell who my boyfriend was now. And it’s the guy he dislikes more for shaming him publicly.
“The invitation says only Damsels, ladies. You didn’t have to bring your lovers to my party,” Fiona pointed, grinning at us.
That’s when Cadell responded, holding me closely, “You can’t expect me to leave a beauty like this on her own. Just like you need your Alpha by your side, my Evolet needs her man because he can’t do without her even for a minute.” He looked into my eyes, winking.
I flushed at his action, cleaving to my Cadell.
When I lifted my eyes to see Wolf Fall’s latest couple, both of their faces were red, most especially Allen.
The Alpha couldn’t control his jealousy. He pulled his arm out of Fiona’s hold, making her feel a bit ashamed. But she was swift to cover up, acting like everything was fine. “I can understand your undying love for her, Romeo. But still…” Allen walked out on us, leaving Fiona behind.
She couldn’t finish her statement but giggled. “He’s stressed out from work. But he still came over to keep me company.”
“And you expect us to come by ourselves without a partner to keep us entertained? How fancy,” Derby mocked, rolling her eyes.
What she said annoyed Fiona. She wanted to say something when Trent said to Derby, interrupting her majesty, “Come, let’s find somewhere to relax.”
“Okay,” Derby agreed, following Trent.
“Shall we?” Cadell asked, holding me romantically, so that Fiona would see with her two big eyes, that her plan has failed. With pride, I held Cadell and responded, “Yes dear. Oh… and once again, congratulations.” I smiled at Fiona, following Cadell.
From the corners of my eyes, I saw how furious Fiona stared at me. The pain of seeing her own plan backfiring at her must be eating.
But we are just getting started.
A few minute into the boring party, Fiona came forward to make a toast to her new found life, thanking everyone for coming to celebrate with her.
“I can still remember all the fun things we all did during the games. We all fought, challenged each other, won and lost battles…” She directed her eyes at my point, indirectly hitting her words at me. ” At the end of it, I won.” She chuckled, getting the others to laugh with her.
“But for tonight…” She pulled Allen near, lifting her glass to finish her speech, “We are all winners. Cheers!”
“Cheers!” The others chorused, clinging their glasses.
Fiona was acting all romantic with Allen, stylishly looking at me to see my reaction.
“What a sad love life,” Cadell groaned, dropping his drink back on the tray. “I want something spicy! Why’s this party so boring?!” He grumbled out loudly, getting attentions on him.
Even Fiona and Allen turned to look at us, watching Cadell drag himself towards the music player at the corner. “If this is a party, then we need to move our bodies instead of standing like statues,” he joked, getting the damsels to giggle.
Fiona scoffed and said, “No one is standing like a statue at my party. You just don’t understand how things are done in the Royal home.”
“BLEH! I’m already bored. Where’s the button?” Cadell disrespected Fiona again, making the others laugh at her.
I was chuckling at this before directing my gaze at Fiona and Allen. The Alpha had his eyes on me while his mate tried to get him to scold Cadell. When she saw his gaze weren’t on her but on her sweet old bestie, Fiona’s countenance changed. She became jealous.
I rolled my eyes off the couple, just in time to hear the music streaming around. Cadell had turn on the music player, moving his body to the rhythm. His movement attracted the other damsels, who were charmed by Pervy Wolf’s steps, drawing closer to be noticed.
That’s when Trent pulled Derby to the middle, making the opening by dancing with her. He swayed his body along with hers, making the others envious.
Derby was shocked with the way Trent danced with her. I could see how she looked at my direction, trying to understand if she was dreaming or not.
All I could do was give her the thumbs up, so she’d feel good.
The damsels joined them, swaying and dancing joyfully to the music.
“My lady,” I heard Cadell call from my right. But when I turned, he wasn’t there. That’s when he grabbed my waist from behind, pulling me into his hold.
“Cadell,” I laughed, lowering my head back to meet his eyes on me. He smiled beautifully and turned me over, holding my hands.
“You can’t allow Kitty to have all the fun with Derby. I want to have a dance with my sweetheart as well,” he smirked, placing my left hand on his shoulder and taking the other in his hold.
He carefully placed his arm around my waist, locking eyes with me as we danced together without looking anywhere else.
Just us.
I felt my heart tingling at the way Cadell stared at me lovingly, with his forehead resting on mine. His action bloomed my world, filling me with happiness.
Aside from my late father, Cadell is actually the first man I’ll be dancing with. My first moment with Cadell… This feels magical.
Pervy Wolf twirled me around, making me chuckle. We even did a switch with Trent and Derby, and I got to dance with my Alpha Cat, who was excited.
When Trent pulled me close, he whispered into my ear, saying, “I think it’s time for you and Cadell to act. Alpha boy has been gawking for long.”
I looked and saw Fiona on the dance floor with Allen, trying to seduce her Alpha with her body. But Allen had his eyes on me. He was sweating while trying hard to keep up with Fiona.
Seems someone’s urges are about to explode.
Listening to Trent, I switched back to Cadell and said, “Anytime from now. But first…” I ran my lips on Cadell, dancing seductively with him. He responded perfectly well, touching my body in front of Allen. And when the Alpha saw this, his eyes popped.
The attention he badly wants from me.
I finally got him.
With all the other damsels dancing absentmindedly, I took Cadell by the hand and ran into the passage at the right, acting naughty just to lure Allen and his lovely Fiona into my trap.
Once we were away from the party, Cadell and I hid in one of the rooms we saw, waiting patiently for Allen to show up.
And just as we expected… “Where did he take her to?!” Allen stormed ahead, searching for us.
It’s clear that his sexual desires are getting to his head, and he can explode anytime if someone doesn’t calm him. And that person is…
“Allen!” Fiona ran by, calling out to Allen. She looked desperate and scared.
Everything is in place.
I took out my phone, ready to follow those two to where they were heading. But Cadell stopped me from going, suggesting, “I’ll do it. They won’t even know that I’m there.”
“Alright, I trust you,” I accepted, giving Cadell the go ahead to follow Allen and Fiona. Then I returned to the party, acting like I never left.
.
I trusted Pervy Wolf with this plan.
Instead of returning with what I wanted, he came back with the most magnificent result ever!
It was way more better than what I expected!
“CADELL!” I screamed, jumping on him with lots of kisses to the face. “YOU ARE THE BEST!” I kept on shouting, refusing to let go. And yeah, he loved it.
We were back from the party and sat together in my room to see what Pervy wolf had taken when he followed Allen and Fiona.
The video he recorded, had Fiona yearning for Allen’s attention like a beggar!
“We were never like this during the games, Allen. Have you forgotten how I always made you happy? The way I made your whole world spin around with my body? You always called me your sweetheart, so… let me help you quench your hunger” She had said, touching him seductively.
Allen looked so horny and ready to blow up. He was trying not to touch Fiona but gave in when she grabbed him down there, saying, “We’ll be quick. Come.”
She pulled him into an opened room and got down to business. I could see it all in the video and I felt like throwing up.
“I don’t know how you pulled this off but… Waw!” Trent commented, ending the video so we won’t see how those two ate themselves.
“What can I say? My Girl wanted perfection and I gave it to her,” Cadell bragged where he sat, looking at me with a smirk on his face.
“Looks like your debt has increased, Eve. When will you pay up?”
“When the spirit leads me.”
“When the… That’s another way of saying Never! How cruel.” He frowned at me.
“No, it’s not never!” I laughed, embracing Cadell from behind, and squeezing him tightly. But it’s not enough to show him how much I really appreciate his help. This is just great!
“Thank you,” I said wholeheartedly, looking at his face.
Cadell locked eyes with me and smiled, moving closer to me in a swift and stealing a kiss from my lips.
I gasped when he did this right in front of Trent! I couldn’t even turn to see Kitty’s reaction. I kept looking at Cadell, blushing.
“Now that’s much better,” Cadell simpered.
“I agree with you,” Trent supported, stunning me.
I turned and found him smiling, working on the video.
He didn’t just say that, did he?
