ALLEN
Werecats! I despise these creatures more than the Vampires!
Having so many similarities to we Werewolves, they always feel like they are higher than us and can rule we wolves if given the chance.
I bet they were the ones who orchestrated the plan to end late Luna Violet for their selfish gain, using the other creatures as their pawn.
If my mother hadn’t stepped in and saved the werewolves, Wolf Fall would have become a history.
Being Wolf Fall’s Alpha, I made it my goal to keep every non-werewolf and backstabbing wolves, out of our land.
Sorceress Thelma was supposed to create a barrier that will keep other creatures out, but I don’t know how she got Mom and I to listen to her own idea in placing this nonsense and useless barrier that does nothing but feel the presence of every creature!
Like why?!
This isn’t what Wolf Fall needs in an era like this!
Now see what her barrier has caused! A werecat has stepped into our pack!
And looking at this beast… “It’s a Tiger. Damn! It’s an Alpha Cat!” I identified the Werecat through its strips, as it emerged fully into the light, growling at my guards and I. Mostly at me.
“What is an Alpha doing in Wolf Fall?” I muttered, tossing my ruined sword aside.
“You have something that doesn’t belong to you filthy dogs, and I’m not leaving without it!” The Werecat responded, springing out its claws.
I forgot that they also have good hearing like us. And now that I’ve heard him speak… “You can’t lie to me, Alpha. You came here to attack my pack secretly, thinking the people of Wolf Fall are dumb. Well, you’re wrong, because I won’t allow you anywhere near my people.”
“So be it!” He roared, charging at us in an unexpected approach!
The guards that where close to me were cleared out of the way like trash, as this werecat raced deeper into the forest, aiming for Wolf Fall.
Seeing this, I left my guards and ran after this beast, applying full speed.
“First a Rogue, now a Werecat?! Why this trouble, Goddess?!” I grumbled, increasing my speed.
Ahead, I could see the Werecat dashing from one tree to another with swift, trying to lose me.
But I didn’t allow it.
Instead, in my pace, I shifted into my werewolf form and went faster than before, chasing this Werecat.
When it made a jump to another tree, I dived into tall wood with my strength, bringing it down. It made the werecat lose its grip, sending it falling at my direction.
I was ready to grab this beast and pin it down on the ground, when this cat surprisingly spun in the air, wrapping its tail around my neck and dragging me down to the ground with a choke!
Its tail went tight around me as I struggled to rip it off. My eyes navigated to the point of the Tiger that stood close by in a perfect stance, ready to smash my head with his foot.
Quickly, I ran my claw across its tail, giving it a big scratch that sent the Cat roaring out in pain. Stopping him from stomping his feet on my head.
That got its tail rolling off my neck, giving me the chance to tackle this Cat down, with my fists launching multiple times at its face with all my energy.
Anything to keep my pack safe from danger, I was ready for it. I fought with all my might, smashing the face of this Alpha Cat with punches.
It managed to give me a blow to the chest, which sent me off with force. That impact really struck me deep, almost as if my heart was going to burst out of me!
“Damn!” I groaned, touching my chest while trying to get to my feet. Only to feel my neck getting wrapped in an arm-choke from the Tiger!
I made an attempt to toss him over and put him in his own attack, but when I did so, I still found myself in his lock!
He pinned me to the ground and squeezed my neck tightly, whispering into my ear, “You shouldn’t have come alone, Alpha. I may be a Werecat, but I’m not weak. Never send a wolf after a Tiger, because the result will be brutal. Even a pack of Wolves against one Tiger is a death toll.”
I kept struggling, but it only increased his choke on me. His strength got me questioning my own skills against this Werecat. I felt so weak under his hold.
All of a sudden, I heard the sound of a blast, followed by the Werecat roaring out. His arm left my neck, giving me the chance to gasp out for air.
Quickly thinking of the Werecat, I turned over and found the Alpha tumbling towards a tree, with traces of smoke escaping his body.
“What was that?” I panted out, wondering what had happened.
“Step aside, Alpha. Let me handle this,” I heard a familiar voice from behind, talking to me.
When I looked, I saw Sorceress Thelma walking towards me with her eyes glowing red! The only time her eyes does that is when she’s using her full powers on someone.
She walked pass me, as I slowly shifted back to my human form, watching the sorceress stepping in to put the Werecat in his place.
The aggressive cat got to his feet and charged at the Sorceress. That’s when Thelma released red glowing lights that surrounded the Werecat, lifting him into the air.
The Alpha roared while struggling to break free from the Sorceress’s powers but went chained when the red glowing lights turned into Golden chains, tying the Werecat.
It kept roaring out loudly, directing my guards to our location. They found me on the ground and rushed to my point to protect me.
Even Dave and the others showed up and were stunned to see the Werecat in Sorceress Thelma’s clutches.
“A Werecat?” Dave uttered, standing next to me when I got to my feet. “How… How did…” Dave stammered, still stunned.
I didn’t bother to say anything to him, even though I knew what he wanted to say. I kept watching the Sorceress bound the Tiger, dropping him to the ground with her powers, roughly.
The Tiger couldn’t move. He was weak.
“Do you still doubt me, Alpha Allen?” she asked, directing her red glowing eyes at me.
The guards were afraid of her, but I wasn’t.
“I told you I felt something big stepping into the pack. You should have waited and listened to what it was. But you were desperate to get this Rogue that is nothing before me,” she smirked, drawing closer to me.
“Alpha Allen, if your Rogue did leave this pack, I would have felt it. But believe me when I say it’s still here in the pack, hiding. It knows well that if he crosses that barrier, I will fish him out. So, don’t worry yourself.” She patted me on the shoulder, chuckling.
I couldn’t speak but felt weak before her. She just brought down an Alpha that almost ended my life with a choke, using his own weakness against him.
I can’t even stand against her so-called barrier if I wanted to, because she was right when she said something came through.
“You should be happy that you stopped an enemy of Wolf Fall from attacking your people. Everyone will praise you for being a hero when you give this beast the punishment he deserves,” she said, looking at the Werecat.
I did the same, staring at the helpless Tiger on the floor. The Alpha was so weak and couldn’t move a muscle.
The Sorceress ordered the guards to drag the Werecat back to the pack and lock him in the dungeon below the arena.
“We’re going to make a great show of this beast,” she said, walking pass me.
The guards did as she ordered, dragging the gold chain that held the Alpha Cat down.
As I watched him being dragged away, Dave, who came closer to me, placing a cloth around my bare body, said, “Sometimes I fear that woman. She says that Rogue is still in the pack, but the guards and I came down from the east, searching houses and every hidden areas, but found nothing.”
“If she says the Rogue is still in the pack hiding, then…” I tightened my hand into a fist, completing my statement, “Then let’s see how all these unfolds.”
