ALLEN
Last night was the best time of my life. Who knew that one of the damsels had the skills to take me to a whole new world?
If not for Mom that has been pestering me to have a talk with the maidens, I wouldn’t have gotten this chance with Fiona.
Just like the others, she has always had her eyes on me. In fact, she was more of a stalker than a gentle lady.
I’ve been noticing how she monitors my movement around the mansion, even when she’s not meant to see me or roam in areas forbidden to the ladies. She always stares at me with delight, and I had no choice but to make myself known to my stalker.
Aside from being skillful in combat, I noticed she was also smart. These are the kind of traces found in a Luna, just like my mother. But I wanted to see more than that, and she did show me her other side.
Fiona gave me the best intimacy ever.
Every other lady I’ve slept with couldn’t go as far as Fiona did. She went as far as dominating my body last night.
It was wild.
“Maybe if I get bored of the hunt, I’ll just choose Fiona as my Luna. She does have the potential of a Queen,” I said to myself while getting ready for the day.
“Or maybe I’ll have to taste all the damsels before making my decision. Who knows, I might find another who’s better than her.” A chuckled escaped my lips, as I thought of all the hot and gorgeous beauties I spoke with that day.
But the one that ruined my mood was the wolfless Omega with a pet wolf. Evolet, I still remember her name.
She seemed so perfect during our conversation, and I could tell she was crazy about me. Her body danced to the rhythm of my tone like every other lady I touched.
But the moment she said those lines and revealed who she was, I lost it.
“I’m still surprised that she’s the lady from that party. I just forgot and didn’t even recognize her scent,” I groaned.
She was supposed to get laid that night but left me hanging. I had to get myself another slut for the evening to satisfy my hunger.
And after all these days, she suddenly shows up as one of the damsels in the Luna’s hunt.
“This is bad for my reputation. What if she tells someone that we both met at a party or that I tried to get intimate with her?” I wondered, buttoning my shirt.
I have no issue with the others. I easily settle them in a way that they can’t resist. But for this damsel… “She has to go. I want her evicted from the next game. She can’t stay here any longer. Seems I’ll have to speak to the Queen about this,” I decided, wishing I had maintained my temper and done things calmly.
You know, get in-between her legs first and silence her like the others.
But no need for that anymore. She needs to leave. And besides, who would want to make a wolfless Omega a bride?
“She’s off my list,” I scoffed.
Done, I stepped out of the room to go and see my mother. That’s when a guard came running towards me, going down on one knee.
“What is it?” I asked, signaling him to rise.
But he didn’t, reporting in tremble, “Alpha, it’s Beta Dean. He was attacked brutally.”
“What?!” I was shocked to hear this.
Dean was attacked? How?
There was no time to waste. I demanded to know where he was, and the guard revealed his location. “At the pack’s hospital. He was immediately admitted when found,” the guard shared.
“How did this happen?” I ran pass my guard, rushing towards the exit.
Dashing out of the mansion, I got into my car and drove down to the hospital to see Dean.
When I got there, I met my mother and Dave talking to the doctor outside a room. They seemed to be occupied with whatever the doctor was saying, that they failed to notice my presence on time.
Not until the doctor looked and greeted, “Alpha, you’re welcome.”
“Allen, my dear,” Mom called, drawing closer to me.
She took hold of my hand and said, “It’s your Beta. Someone had attacked him in the middle of the night.”
“I heard. Where is he?” I faced the doctor, waiting for his response.
He pointed at the room at his left and said, “He’s recovering at the moment. When he’s awake, you can see him.”
“When he wakes? Was the attack that serious? What really happened to Dean?!” I asked, finding this strange.
We are all wolves. When bruised or injured, we can heal up fast, unless it’s wolfsbane or silver used on us.
I was expecting to hear one of those things from the doctor, but none of those options came out of his mouth.
“I don’t know how to describe this to you, Alpha. This was a brutal attack on the Beta. You see…” he cleared his throat, lingering his eyes from us to the room, then back at me. “It’s hard to tell if someone or something had landed on him, because when he was brought in, his body and face looked flattened. You know when something round suddenly gets popped somewhere and it starts deflating?”
“Flattened?” I uttered, getting a sudden chill all around.
He nodded and went on to describe what he had seen in his reader. “He broke some bones and it affected his organs. His healing hormone is moving slowly, instead of the normal speed of every wolf. One can’t tell if a rock had slammed him or what, but It’s the first time I’ll be attending to a patient with this case. It’s new,” the doctor shared, stunning us.
I heard my mother gasp at the doctor’s words, asking him, “So, how long will it take for him to recover? The pack needs their Beta!”
“I can’t say. It all depends on the goddess. We have given him all he needs to heal up fast, but it’s going real slow,” he responded.
This was disheartening. Who could have done this to Dean?
While the doctor kept talking, I drew closer to the room he had pointed out to us. Standing outside the window, my body shivered at the sight of my Beta laying in bed with his whole body wrapped!
He didn’t look like himself. He looked… deflated, just like the doctor described.
I saw the monitor reading his heart level and noticed something attached to his head from behind.
If I hadn’t seen this, I would have questioned the doctor’s medical skills and asked if he has no cure that can heal broken bones and damaged organs. But this…
“Who did this to you, Dean?”
