Unknown Number: [You have one week, Lily.]
With shaky hands, Lily dropped her phone to the ground and clasped her hands around her mouth, stopping her screams from leaving the room. She didn’t need anyone to tell her who the sender was.
There was only one person on the face of the earth who could threaten her in such a gruesome manner.
Louis Moreau.
Suddenly, all Lily could hear was the screams coming from the emergency ward which was filled with people who had been victims of the gang shooting and all she could think of was Louis’s text.
“Did he do that just to send a warning to me?” She thought in a shaky breath and her heart hammered against her chest, almost as if it would explode.
“Did so many people die just because of me? Am I responsible for these cries of agony?” Hot tears trickled down her cheeks as the realization dawned on her.
Louis was willing to do anything to get her back even if it meant killing a hundred people.
This made her realize that he could hurt Tony or even Rachael and Daisy if she continued staying with them.
“Fuck!” She cried, shutting her eyes in pain. How he got her new number was still a mystery to her but, she had other things to worry about. One of them was if it would be proper to tell Tony about Louis’s text.
“What if he finds out and does something worse to me?” She thought. Seeing how he was able to get her new number, Lily knew that he was not to be underestimated.
She wasn’t going to be shocked if he got it through one of the nurses in her office. She was at a stage where she couldn’t trust anyone but Tony.
Looking around to see if anyone was looking, Lily dragged her body from the ground, wiped her tears with a tissue from her locker, and headed out to help with the emergency ward.
The least she could do was help since she was responsible for the state everyone was in.

Tony made his way out of his office to check on the newly admitted patients who were fighting for their lives.
It was a busy day for TM Hospital as all the doctors in the ER unit had their hands filled. Since there was no VIP client in danger, Tony was free as he had enough skilled doctors to take care of the victims.
As his service to the community and country, he was treating a large number of the victims for free, especially the elderly and children.
After checking on one of the victims who had survived a headshot miraculously, Tony decided to check on the other wards when his phone beeped, warning him that Louis was on the move.
He immediately excused himself and hurried to a secluded corner before pulling out his AirPods so he could rap into Louis’s phone and listen to his conversation.
“Drogo is angry.” He heard a strange voice that didn’t belong to Louis.
“The fuck is he angry for? We cleared out the enemy gang. Isn’t that what he wanted.” He heard Louis click his tongue in annoyance and anger cursed through Tony’s veins.
“Come on, man. He didn’t ask us to kill all those other people. The plan was to clear the Tigers and go. Why did we have to start shooting civilians and acting like they were collateral damage when we could have ended this without having any victims?” The same man asked.
“Because I fucking ordered it. When Martin isn’t around, I am in fucking charge. Do you hear me? If I wanted people to die, then they’d die. Besides, I needed to pass a warning to someone. I’m sure she gets it now.” Tony could picture the smirk on Louis’s face as he spoke, his words holding a hidden meaning.
It didn’t take Tony two seconds to figure out what Louis meant. His face paled as he realized that Louis had gone this far just to prove a point to Lily.
Tony’s face twisted in disgust and his jaw clenched in anger as he listened to Louis talk about people’s lives like it was nothing.
Being a doctor, Tony valued the lives and good health of people more than anything so to hear Louis belittle human lives made his skin crawl and his blood boil.
“All of this just to prove to Lily that he is a dangerous man? I wonder how far this psycho is willing to go just to scare this poor girl.” He shook his head in disgust and was about to take his AirPods off when he heard Louis mention his name.
“And that fucking Tony Martinez of TM hospital. He is our next target. Killing him shouldn’t be hard. Once we bring him down, Lily will have no one else to turn to but me.” He said in a bright tone, making Tony ball his fists in anger.
“I don’t know, Man. Do we have to go as far as killing him? We can just kidnap him and sell him off.” The other suggested but was immediately cut off by Louis.
“When did you become so soft, Andrea?” Louis raised his voice. “It’s either we kill him or that bitch is going to rat our secret to the fucking world and you know what’s gonna happen? Drogo is going to have our heads on his fucking gold plate before the police get to us. Is that what you want? Huh?” There was a rustling from the other side of the phone, making it hard for Tony to hear but, he made sure he didn’t miss a word Louis said.
“Good! Now get the boys ready. We take him down in two days.” He heard Louis say before he went silent and walked away.
Tony took off his AirPods and saved the file he had just recorded. He leaned on the wall as he recalled Louis’s talks about killing him and even though he didn’t want to admit it, he feared that he might die if he wasn’t careful.
As he rested on the wall, raking his mind for ideas, one popped into his head.
He was going to use himself as bait to catch Louis and his other gang members!
Smiling to himself, Tony opened his eyes to finally leave but was met with Lily staring at him with puffy eyes.
“Tony?” Her voice came out in a low tone and her eyes were red like she had just cried a river.
Lily stood there, wondering if it would be fine to tell Tony about Louis’s text while Tony pondered on the same thought.
He was hesitating because he knew that Lily would worry and eventually stop him from carrying out his plan while Lily hesitated for fear of putting him and his family in danger.
They both stood, staring at each other with both their minds racing with thoughts. After a few minutes, they both decided that it would be better to inform the other about it now rather than later since they had decided to not keep secrets.
So, as Lily opened her mouth to speak, Tony did the same.
“I have something to tell you!” They chorused at the same time.
