“Why do you need to ask for all the details? Don’t you already know about my relationship with him?”
Rosalind wanted to end this conversation as soon as possible. After all, nobody felt happy talking about it, so it should be dropped! She believed that Malcolm’s kindness towards her was undeniable, and she didn’t want to lie or deceive Ulric.
“Alright, I won’t ask.” Ulric’s gaze never left her. “Tell me, when would be a good time to pick up Floyd and Jake? You decide.”
He had initially thought about having Cedric bring them over directly, but after some consideration, he felt that he should ask Rosalind. It wouldn’t be respectful to make the decision himself.
“In a few days, okay?” Rosalind definitely wanted to see the children immediately, but she still had some reservations and concerns in her heart. She didn’t know how to call Malcolm and inform him about this.

Ulric sat up and pulled Rosalind closer to him. “You don’t need to be so hostile towards him. Johnny… he’s not a bad person.”
Ulric could guarantee it.
“I know about your relationship with him, just like mine with Tilda. But until I can be sure that Johnny is serious, I will definitely oppose him being with my best friend.”
Rosalind decided to speak frankly. There was no need to hide anything from Johnny anymore. Johnny and Tilda had only met for a few days. Rosalind didn’t believe that Johnny could have any feelings for Tilda!
