Meanwhile, Tilda lay on the large bed in the hotel, tossing and turning, unable to sleep.
She wondered how she should explain the current situation to her cousin.
He was still waiting for his passport to come to Sweden! When he arrived and saw Ulric and Rosalind together, wouldn’t it be awkward for him?
After much thought, Tilda reluctantly dialed Malcolm’s number.
After a few rings, he answered.
“I was giving Jake a bath and just heard your call. What’s wrong? Is Rosalind okay?”
“Ugh… She’s fine,” Tilda awkwardly pursed her lips. “So, how is your passport application going?”
Malcolm paused, sensing something was off. “I’ve already submitted the application and taken new photos. Don’t you know that? Why are you asking again?”
“I just thought… maybe you shouldn’t come for now. Rosalind is doing well here, and the Walters family isn’t causing any trouble for her.”
Malcolm didn’t say anything, but Tilda could sense his disappointment at that moment.
“Rosalind said she’ll be going back in a month. So maybe you shouldn’t make the trip here. I plan to stay here with Rosalind for a while, and then we’ll return home together in a month.”
Once Ulric woke up, they knew that no one would dare to harm Rosalind anymore.
After a long pause, Malcolm whispered, “Alright, I won’t come. Take care of her.”
“Okay.”
After hanging up the phone, Tilda felt a heavy discomfort in her heart.
She couldn’t pinpoint exactly why, but she felt a bit sad.
She opened a food delivery app on her phone, thinking of buying some beer so she could drink and sleep. However, she couldn’t read or speak Swedish. She feared getting lost if she went downstairs.
Tilda’s eyes lit up as she suddenly thought of something. She put on her slippers and ran out, directly knocking on the door of the room two doors down from hers.
In no time, a man who had just finished showering opened the door with an annoyed expression.
“What do you want?”
Johnny had just come out of the bathroom, casually draped in a white hotel bathrobe with water still dripping from his hair. He was startled by Tilda’s relentless knocking.
“I want to drink. Go buy some for me.”
“Am I your servant?” Apart from Ulric, no one else could boss him around like this!
Tilda blinked innocently, “I never said that! It was Ulric who asked you to take care of me. I want to sleep with the help of alcohol now, but I don’t know how to buy it myself. So I have to ask for your help!”
“Will you not help me?”
“Fine,” Johnny said and promptly closed the door.
Tilda felt rejected and frustrated. “Hey! You have no manners at all! No wonder you’re on the same level as Sirena, both lacking in decency!”
After finishing her rant, Tilda turned to leave when Johnny’s door opened again.
This time, he had changed out of his bathrobe and was wearing casual clothes.
His handsome face showed exasperation. “I need to change my clothes. Do you expect me to go out with you wearing a bathrobe?”
“I suggest next time you understand the full situation before expressing your opinions.” Johnny was starting to lose his mind with this woman. “Based on your imagination alone, you’re quick to label others?”
Tilda straightened her neck and coldly snorted, “You’re lecturing me? What about when you scolded Rosalind repeatedly without understanding the full situation? Weren’t you quick to label her as someone trying to steal Sirena’s man?”
