Chapter 456: I Will Never Live Alone

“If it weren’t for her, Ulric would have married Sirena long ago, and he wouldn’t be lying in a hospital now! Rosalind, you give my son back to me! You give him back!” Audrey cried, gasping for breath, collapsing onto the ground.
She had been strong all her life, and proud as well. In her old age, she couldn’t bear the uncertainty of her son’s life and death. It was too cruel.
Caesar held his wife in his arms, feeling sorry for her. He looked at Rosalind struggling to get up from the ground.
“Just leave. You’re not welcome here! I have shown you the greatest tolerance by not holding you accountable for giving birth to the Walters family’s descendants. If you don’t leave now, I will…”
“I’m not leaving.” Rosalind came prepared today. “If Ulric dies, I will never live alone.”
Her determination in her eyes was genuine.
Caesar instinctively believed her words without any doubt. She meant it.
But that didn’t mean the Walters family would accept her as their daughter-in-law.
He knew very well that his wife would never accept Rosalind, especially considering what happened with Rosalind’s mother.
Once the truth was revealed, there could never be a perfect ending.
“Then just die! Die quickly!” Audrey didn’t think about anything else. She tried to break free from her husband’s grip and attack Rosalind again.
But Rosalind didn’t even blink. Although she sat there in a sorry state, her gaze remained fixed on the red light flashing in the emergency room.
The light didn’t go out.
Which meant Ulric definitely hadn’t died yet. He was still being saved.
“Rosalind, if you won’t leave on your own, then I will have someone take you away. You’ve seen it yourself. Audrey gets emotional because of you!”
“No, I’m not leaving. I want to stay here with Ulric!” Rosalind shook her head as if possessed. “When Ulric wakes up, he will definitely want to see me first! He definitely will! I can’t leave!”
Caesar furrowed his brow and exchanged a glance with the bodyguard standing beside him.
Immediately, the two men lifted Rosalind up from both sides.
“I tried to persuade you nicely, but since you won’t listen, don’t blame me for throwing you out!” Caesar said firmly.
Rosalind struggled forcefully. “I want to stay here! Don’t touch me!”
But she was covered in injuries and every touch caused excruciating pain. How could she have the strength to resist two men?
Soon, her voice disappeared from the floor of the emergency room.
Caesar glanced at the elevator and then looked at the spot where Rosalind had been lying just now.
The dried blood on it had turned into a dark red color like ink.
It seemed she was also seriously injured!
Audrey cried heart-wrenchingly in Caesar’s arms, her eyes swollen and red.
“Caesar, all of this is Rosalind’s fault! Otherwise, how could Sirena, who is so gentle and loves our son so much, do such a thing? Hurry up and send someone to kill that troublemaker! Otherwise, the Walters family won’t have any peace!”
Caesar furrowed his brows and sighed heavily. “Indeed, we owed Sirena a favor back then as part of the Walters family. But you have also been causing trouble with her for so long. It’s enough.”
“Our son is lying in the emergency room with an unknown fate, and you’re speaking up for Rosalind?!”
“But it wasn’t Rosalind who stabbed our son!”
Audrey didn’t expect to be reprimanded and momentarily forgot to continue crying.
Finally, Caesar stood up and looked at Rosalind outside the hospital who had been thrown out but refused to leave. He said in a deep voice, “Calm yourself. The doctors from abroad are already in position and waiting. We need to leave now. Saving Ulric’s life is our top priority.”
