Ulric’s sudden move left Lion completely baffled.
“Who did you say you are, W Group?”
“Yes.”
Lion chuckled deeply. “I have no intention of selling Eastsun Corporation. Mr. Walters can forget about it! Don’t think I don’t know what he’s after.”
This wasn’t about buying Eastsun Corporation; it was clearly about Rosalind!
“Mr. Walters is giving you a day to consider.”
“I have no plans to sell! Do you not understand? What is there to consider?”
Cedric chuckled on the other end. “Consider whether you want to sell willingly or unwillingly.”
In short, the sale was inevitable.
“Are you planning to force this sale?!” Lion stood up from his chair in anger. “I’m telling you, no way! I am still the largest shareholder of Eastsun Corporation. As long as I disagree, you can’t buy it!”
Cedric’s voice remained calm, and the sound of papers rustling came through the phone.
“Mr. Lion, you currently hold 34% of Eastsun Corporation’s shares, making you the largest shareholder. However, W Group has already acquired 27% of Eastsun Corporation’s shares. Once I sign the transfer contract, you will no longer be the largest shareholder. Mr. Walters wanted to give you a choice out of respect for your previous care for Miss Ruell.”
Lion didn’t respond but immediately opened his computer to check the company’s share information.
Cedric politely waited on the line while he confirmed.
When Lion saw the share transfer news, he thought he was dreaming!
How could it happen so quickly? This was nearly impossible!
“You call this giving me a choice?!”
“Of course! You can choose to sell your 34% shares to us or not sell them. However, once W Group becomes the largest shareholder, your shares will significantly devalue since W Group won’t prioritize Eastsun Corporation in its operations.”
At that time, Eastsun Corporation’s funds would drastically decrease until no projects were signed, rendering its shares worthless.
The current value of his 34% shares might not even fetch one percent of their worth then.
Lion frowned, shocked that Ulric would go to such lengths for Rosalind!
He knew that such an unethical move against a collaborating company would damage W Group’s reputation and cost a lot of money!
He couldn’t believe that Ulric, known for his calm and strategic approach, would do something like this.
“Ulric shouldn’t forget that Rosalind is his ex-wife! He can’t think this will win her back!”
“That’s Mr. Walters’ concern, not yours, Mr. Lion.”
“Fine! If you want to play this game with me, don’t think I haven’t saved anything over the years! High-priced share acquisition? I can do that too! Let’s see if our shareholders will sell to you or me!”
Lion understood the pros and cons but his pride wouldn’t let him think rationally anymore!

Cedric said no more and was about to hang up.
Lion suddenly laughed. “And… isn’t Ulric just after Rosalind? I can fire her from Eastsun Corporation right now!”
