Georgia had never considered herself a model student. She sometimes liked to fight, often standing up for others. But she had never disrespected a teacher. Teaching, to her, was a grueling profession, and she deeply understood the sacrifices it required.
In her heart, teachers were sacred figures, much like the candles described in books-burning themselves to illuminate others. But the principal’s actions had tarnished this sacred image.
This was the first time Georgia had lashed out so angrily at a teacher. Yet, after voicing her outrage, she felt an unexpected sense of relief.
The principal’s face darkened as she tidied her hair and straightened her clothes. With a stern expression, she barked, “Get out! Who gave you the right to come in here? Since when do you have the authority to criticize me?”
Leah shook her head and replied, “Authority? Why don’t I have the authority? You were just talking about me, weren’t you? Principal, you’ve truly defiled this profession! You’re unworthy of being a teacher. You’ve destroyed the greatness of teachers in my heart.”
For students, teachers were their faith, their idols. This time, Leah’s faith had been utterly shattered.
The principal’s face turned ashen as she retorted, “You don’t decide whether I’m qualified or not. Now, leave immediately! And the person you brought along-get him out as well, or I’ll have no choice but to call security.”
Kayden, who had been silent since entering, had said only one thing. The rest of the time, his gaze remained fixed on the teacher standing nearby. That teacher, in turn, had been staring at Georgia the entire time with a contemptuous look in his eyes. Not a trace of fear could be seen in his expression. Clearly, his arrogance had been nurtured to the extreme.
“Call security? Are you calling them to witness the dirty deeds you’ve been hiding?” Leah challenged, her tone firm as she locked eyes with the principal.
Infuriated by Leah’s words, the principal stormed toward her, raising her hand as if to strike. But before she could reach Leah, Kayden stepped in and blocked her path.
Adjusting her glasses, the principal glared venomously at Kayden and shouted, “Move aside!”
Slap! Without a word, Kayden raised his hand and delivered a clean, resounding slap. The force of it caused the principal to stumble, her high heel twisting as she fell hard to the ground.
“You hit me? How dare you hit me! Do you even know who I am? Do you know who my husband is?” The principal’s voice rose to a shrill pitch, her eyes burning with fury. It was clear that she had never been treated this way before, and her anger was palpable.
The teacher nearby rushed forward at the sight, his expression livid. “You barbarian! How dare you lay a hand on a woman! Let me tell you, I despise men who hit women more than anything in this world!”
Thud! Kayden didn’t hesitate. He raised his leg and delivered a powerful kick, sending the teacher hurtling backward. The man’s body crashed heavily into a desk. The sound of something cracking-bone, perhaps-echoed through the room.
Pointing a finger at the teacher sprawled across the desk, Kayden said coldly, “It’s not your turn yet. Stay put and wait.”
Then, turning back to the principal, Kayden locked eyes with her and spoke slowly, enunciating each word: “I don’t hit women. But you? You’re no longer worthy of being called human. What I hit was nothing more than filth.”
Kayden rarely resorted to violence against women, but the principal’s actions were beyond redemption-comparable to pigs and dogs. No, that comparison was an insult to pigs and dogs.
“The first slap,” Kayden began, his voice steady, “was for the students you’ve harmed.”
“You’re finished! You hear me? Finished!” the principal screamed, her face twisted with rage. “Do you know who my husband is? He’s the deputy governor! You dare mess with me? I’ll ruin you both!”
Ah, so that was her trump card. No wonder she had become a principal and acted so arrogantly. Still, Kayden found it pitiful-the effort the deputy governor must have put into securing her a high-ranking position, only for her to disgrace him by cheating behind his back. What a humiliation.
Shaking his head in disappointment, Kayden stepped closer to the fallen principal, towering over her. “The deputy governor’s wife, huh?” he mused.
Seeing the sinister smile on Kayden’s face, the principal felt a chill run down her spine.
“You… You hit me again, and I swear-” she stammered.
Slap! Another crisp slap echoed through the room. This time, her glasses flew off, shattering as they hit the floor. A red mark bloomed across her cheek.
“This slap,” Kayden declared, “is for the teaching profession. You’ve insulted it.”
Slap! A third strike landed. Tears streamed down the principal’s face, but she could no longer speak properly-her lips were swollen, her words incomprehensible.
“This one is for your husband. You betrayed him, and I’m giving you what you deserve.”
The principal’s head buzzed. She began to doubt her own existence, her thoughts muddled and incoherent.
Slap! Without pause, Kayden delivered a fourth blow. This time, a tooth flew out of her mouth.
“This one’s for Leah. I don’t need to explain why.”
The principal thought it was finally over, but Kayden raised his hand once more.
Slap! The fifth and final slap landed with even greater force. Her face was unrecognizable-swollen and bruised like a pig’s head.
“This last one,” Kayden said bluntly, “is because I don’t like you. No reason. I simply don’t.”
The principal clutched her face, breathing heavily, her fury evident. She had never endured such humiliation in her life. Of course, she wanted revenge. She swore she would make Kayden and Leah pay, no matter what it took.
But just as she steeled herself, her resolve evident in her eyes, Kayden pulled out his phone. Dialing a number, he spoke coldly while pressing the keys.
“I know you’re angry. I know you want revenge on me and Leah. But you won’t have the chance because you’re about to lose the power to do so.”
Kayden hadn’t even used his full strength during the slaps. If he had, the principal wouldn’t have survived even one.
The call connected quickly. Kayden spoke into the phone, his tone icy. “In one minute, I want the principal of Inassea Medical Academy dismissed. Don’t ask why. Don’t ask for a reason. I said dismissed, and I mean it. She’s no longer fit for this position.”
Hanging up, Kayden pocketed his phone. The room fell silent, its occupants frozen in shock.
