Johnny’s furrowed brow deepened even further as he asked, “Why didn’t anyone tell me that Amon was buried with someone else after he pa*sed away?”
The news of Amon’s and Casare’s deaths had spread among the upper-cla*s circle, but the cause of their deaths remained unknown.
This matter involved royal secrets, and the news had long been blocked. No one knew the specific reasons, nor that Amon was buried with someone else.
The person on the phone explained, “I just found it out too. The Yardley pack had kept their information very confidential and hadn’t leaked any news before.””
Johnny asked, “The Yardleys didn’t allow Rosalie to mate
Amon, did they? How come they agreed to a joint burial after their death?”
The person on the other end of the line said, “I guess they want to find a wife for Amon since he never got mated during his lifetime.”
Johnny had a vague feeling that the Yardley pack’s agreement to the joint burial was not as simple as it seemed, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on what was not simple about it.
In addition, there was one more thing that left Johnny feeling puzzled. “How did Rosalie die? And when did she die?”
The person on the other end of the phone calmly replied, “I’m not sure about Rosalie’s recent situation. It seems like her information has been tampered with and I can’t find anything.”
Could it be that someone knew the purpose of their search for Rosalie and blocked her true information?
Johnny always felt that something was off, but since all the known information was related, he never suspected that someone was sabotaging it.
Now, however, he felt that most of the information he had received might be false. He wondered who could have tampered with Rosalie’s information.
Could it be Griffon who tricked him to go all over the world?
But why did Griffon alter Rosalie’s information? Did they have any relationship?
Johnny couldn’t figure it out. The more he thought about it, the more frustrated he became. He decided to stop thinking
about it and coldly instructed the person on the other end of the phone.
“Since she has already pa*sed away, there is no point in continuing the investigation. Find an appropriate time to inform our mother.”
“That Johnny, what should our mother do?”
“I’ll try to think of a solution.”
After finishing the call, Johnny hung up directly. His eyes, filled with anger, coldly swept across outside the car window.
As soon as Johnny left the nightclub, Harper returned to the office and made a video call to Taya.
“Taya, Johnny just came to ask about Rosalie’s whereabouts
again. I told him that Rosalie has pa*sed away and was buried in the Yardley pack cemetery. I don’t know if he
believed me or not.”
After Harper finished speaking, she glanced at Taya who was wearing a black mask covering half of her face in the video.
“You caught a cold, huh? Why are you wearing a mask now?” asked Harper.
“I’m not having a cold.”
Taya let out a deep sigh.
“There’s a person named Herb who keeps taking pictures of me with his phone, and I don’t know why. To protect myself, I have to wear a mask.”
Herb was quite weird. Not only did he try to secretly take pictures of Taya, but he also follows her and Griffon around.
Wherever they went, Herb followed. If they tried to reason
with him, he’d say that it wasn’t not their road and he could go wherever he wanted.
Griffon said that if it weren’t for Herb jumping into the sea to save her before, he would have given Herb a beating and broken his arms and legs.
“Let’s not talk about Herb. Let’s talk about Johnny. What exactly does he want to do to Rosalie?”
“I don’t know. I asked him, but he didn’t tell me. Since he went through so much trouble to look for my sister, it’s probably not something good.”
Taya nodded in approval.
“That’s right. He won’t visit anyone if there’s nothing important. He must be up to something.”
“Anyway, I just call to remind you. Be careful! Don’t let him find out the truth.”
After giving a few instructions, Harper ended the call as Jayden and his friends were about to go home. Harper had to go and see them off, so she hung up the phone.
Taya put down her phone and looked at Griffon who was lost in thought. “What’s wrong with you?” she asked.
Harper, Griffon kept frowning as if he was thinking about something unpleasant.
