In less than an hour, the five great legions, comprising a total of 500, 000 soldiers, crushed the defenses of Willington Castle and stormed into the city.
The rebel army recruited by Daniel Williams proved to be nothing more than a disorganized mob, utterly incapable of withstanding the assault of the five legions.
As Willington Castle fell, Chris gave his orders. “Alligator, lead the five legions to clear out the rebels inside the city.”
“Yes, sir!” Alligator and the others nodded, commanding the legions to sweep through the remaining rebels.
Chris turned to Lord Valerian and said, “Lord Valerian, you will join me in leading the Death Guards to storm the royal residence.”
Without a word, Lord Valerian nodded in agreement.
Soon, Chris and Lord Valerian led 50, 000 Death Guards to the royal residence, situated on Hill Dragon.
As Chris raised his eyes, he saw that the entire Hill Dragon had been transformed into a heavily fortified castle. The mountain had been hollowed out, with dense structures and bunkers stretching from the base to the summit.
To breach the royal residence, these fortifications and defensive works had to be dismantled one by one.
Beyond the fortifications, the entire Hill Dragon was teeming with heavily armed guards. Dressed in black uniforms, these guards were unmistakably members of the Hall of Death.
It was evident that these were the last remaining forces of the Hall of Death, making Hill Dragon a near-impregnable fortress.
Breaking through Hill Dragon would be no simple task.
At this moment, Lord Valerian stepped forward and said, “Chris, allow me to lead the Death Guards to breach Hill Dragon.”
Chris nodded. “I’ll leave it to you!”
With Lord Valerian’s formidable strength, leading the Death Guards would surely yield twice the results with half the effort.
“Charge!”
“Kill!”
“Attack!”
The rallying cries echoed through the air as Lord Valerian led tens of thousands of Death Guards to storm Hill Dragon.
The mountain was soon engulfed in the deafening roar of battle.
Lord Valerian’s offensive was ferocious. In less than half an hour, they had fought their way to the mountainside.
But what awaited them there left Chris, Lord Valerian, and their men dumbfounded.
The mountainside was filled with rows of iron cages, packed densely together. Inside the cages were Super Warriors, confined like livestock.
Seeing so many Super Warriors in one place, Chris couldn’t help but draw a sharp breath.
These Super Warriors were naked, crawling on all fours like beasts, snarling and roaring.
It was a horrifying sight-a Super Warrior concentration camp. It appeared that Daniel Williams had gathered all the Super Warriors he had created in this one location.
Both Chris and Lord Valerian wore grim expressions.
As the Super Warriors caught sight of Chris and Lord Valerian, they grew agitated, their bloodshot eyes filled with fury.
“Roar!”
“Roar!”
“Roar!”
They began hurling themselves against the iron cages with frenzied abandon.
At the same time, more rebel forces launched attacks on Chris and his men.
Gunfire erupted, and the battle grew increasingly fierce.
Lord Valerian, wielding a long sword, charged into the midst of the rebels, cutting them down with ruthless efficiency.
The rebels were no match for Lord Valerian, falling one after another under his blade.
Chris, wielding an automatic firearm, unleashed a hail of bullets on the rebels, mowing them down like grass.
“Ah!”
“Ugh!”
Screams filled the air as the rebels collapsed into bloody heaps.
Chris and Lord Valerian led the Death Guards in an unstoppable advance.
In mere moments, the ground was littered with rebel corpses, and the soil was soaked red with blood.
Faced with the ferocity of Chris and his forces, the rebels began to retreat.
But even as the rebels fell back, Chris remained vigilant.
“Roar!”
“Roar!”
“Roar!”
Suddenly, the Super Warriors broke free from their cages.
With blood-red eyes, they fixed their gaze on Chris and Lord Valerian, snarling incessantly.
Lord Valerian frowned and asked, “Chris, are these the Super Warriors you mentioned before?”
Though Lord Valerian had taken countless lives, he prided himself on only killing those who deserved it.
These Super Warriors, however, had once been ordinary humans. Captured by Daniel Williams, they had been transformed into these monstrous beings.
Watching the Super Warriors crawl on the ground, howling like animals, Lord Valerian couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for them.
Chris understood his thoughts. He had once felt the same way upon first encountering the Super Warriors.
But after battling them multiple times, Chris’s sympathy had vanished.
To Chris, these creatures were no longer human. They had lost all traces of humanity.
Killing them was, in fact, an act of mercy.
No one would want to live as something neither human nor beast.
“Lord Valerian,” Chris said in a grave tone, “killing them is the only way to truly set them free.”
Lord Valerian froze for a moment, then nodded, understanding the weight of Chris’s words.
These Super Warriors lived lives worse than death. Killing them was the only way to grant them peace.
“Kill!”
Lord Valerian hesitated no longer. With a shout, he charged at the Super Warriors, sword in hand.
With a single strike, he severed the arm of one Super Warrior. But the creature seemed oblivious to pain and continued its assault.
Lord Valerian was momentarily stunned.
He struck again, slashing several times and severing the creature’s limbs.
But even in such a state, the Super Warrior remained relentless, continuing its attack.
“Lord Valerian!” Chris called out. “You must decapitate them to kill them!”
Without hesitation, Lord Valerian swung his sword, lopping off the creature’s head.
Only then did the Super Warrior collapse lifelessly to the ground.
Lord Valerian’s face was a mask of shock. He had not expected these creatures to be so tenacious.
If Daniel Williams were to unleash these Super Warriors on Middleton, it would spell disaster for all of Amerosia.
More Super Warriors began charging at Lord Valerian.
Wielding his long sword, he swiftly decapitated several of them.
The blade in his hand, forged from a special material, sliced through their necks as easily as cutting through butter.
Chris, wielding the Dragon Slayer, decapitated another Super Warrior with a single swing.
Though the Super Warriors fought fearlessly, they were no match for Chris.
Wave after wave of Super Warriors surged toward Chris and his men in a frenzy.
