Ian Blade frowned slightly, took two steps forward, and slashed out with his blade.
The blade light entered the bird’s head and exited from its tail, splitting the bird’s body in half, blood and flesh flying everywhere.
“Wow, we’re so lucky! We just arrived at the ninth-tier star domain and already got such a high-level beast core. Awesome!” Stout cheerfully walked towards the bird’s corpse.
“Stout, come back!” Casey called out just as he took two steps.
Before Casey’s words had even finished, nearly a hundred of the same kind of birds flew out from the primitive forest ahead.
Without any hesitation, they swooped down on the group, densely packed, blocking out the sky, with air waves surging and strong winds howling.
These birds had varying levels of combat power, the weakest comparable to the mid-stage of the Controlled Kun Realm, and the strongest enough to contend with the early stage of the Mystic Kun Realm.
“Damn, so many?!” Stout’s eyes lit up as he shouted, “We’re gonna be rich!”
He then soared into the air, alternating punches, each strike killing at least two or three birds.
White Tiger and Vermilion Bird also joined in, raising their blades to meet the birds. Blade lights filled the sky, cutting down one bird after another.
The entire process lasted four or five minutes before it ended, with nearly a hundred birds lying dead on the ground.
Stout and Judge began harvesting beast cores.
“Miss Fairy, do you know where this place is?” Ivy asked Fairy.
“I don’t know!” Fairy shook her head.
She then turned to Billy and said, “There are many high-level beasts in the mountains ahead. Since you’re not in a hurry, all of you go inside to train. Hopefully, you can improve your cultivation.”
“Alright!” Billy nodded.
He had sensed many fierce beasts in the mountains ahead.
Within his spiritual perception range, there were at least dozens of beast auras comparable to the late stage of the Mystic Kun Realm.
He couldn’t help but sigh; this ninth-tier star domain was indeed extraordinary, with so many high-level beasts in just one place.
“Go ahead!” Fairy continued. “Sanaa and I will check out other places to figure out where we are.”
“Okay!” Billy nodded.
He then led the group into the forest.
“Boss, this place isn’t as simple as it looks!” Casey said as they walked.
“Yeah!” Billy nodded. “Everyone be careful!”
Along the way, various beasts attacked them from time to time.
But the strongest was only a four-horned beast comparable to the fourth-rank Mystic Kun Realm, merely delivering beast cores to them.
After about half an hour, they reached an open mountain area.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Before they could take a closer look around, a series of earth-shaking footsteps echoed in their ears. In front of them, towering trees fell one after another, creating a terrifying scene.
Soon, five massive four-horned beasts emerged from the forest, looking ferocious with black scales all over their bodies and long fangs in their mouths.
The four beasts roared and charged at Billy’s group like small mountains.
“I’ll handle them!” Judge said as he slashed out with his blade.
Clang!
To his surprise, the blade light at seventy to eighty percent strength couldn’t even break through the beast’s scales.
Without hesitation, he used full strength for another slash.
Boom… The beast retreated dozens of meters with a shallow cut on its body, nothing more.
“So strong?” Judge’s pupils contracted slightly as he attacked again.
“Judge, I’ll join you!” Ian Blade shouted as he followed him.
Meanwhile, Azure Dragon and Azure Fang attacked the other four beasts.
Everyone aimed to train themselves, so they didn’t go for the kill immediately, instead maneuvering around the beasts.
Billy and Harleen didn’t join in; although these five beasts were fierce, they were still too weak for them.
Boom!
Ten minutes later, one of the beasts attacked by Azure Fang and Frostblade fell with a bloodline on its neck, blood gushing out.
“Humans dare to act recklessly here? Die!” An angry voice echoed in their ears.
Swish! Swish! Dozens of large tree trunks flew towards Azure Fang and Night Orchid at high speed, toppling towering trees along their path and filling the air with sand and stones.
“Frostblade, watch out!”
Azure Fang shouted, shielding Frostblade while sending out blade lights to meet the trunks.
Boom… The blade lights shattered the trunks into wood chips flying everywhere.
As Azure Fang prepared to attack again, a tree trunk as thick as an arm tore through the air towards him.
Though small, Azure Fang could feel its energy far surpassing that of the previous trunks.
Dropping his underestimation, Azure Fang focused his full strength into a slash.
With a loud explosion, both the blade light and trunk shattered. Azure Fang was blown back a hundred meters, his breath chaotic.
Just as he steadied himself, another trunk rapidly enlarged in his pupils.
“Azure Fang, watch out!” Frostblade exclaimed.
As she shouted, Casey punched from not far away, shattering the trunk instantly.
“Impressive. Who are you?” The man’s voice sounded again.
A figure emerged from the forest ahead.
Calling it a figure wasn’t quite right; above the waist was human-like with a handsome face, but below was a four-legged beast body.
Except for his head, his entire body was covered in black scales like those of the five beasts.
This was their first time seeing a half-human half-beast creature.
“Humans dare to act recklessly here?” The creature continued. “Do you know where you are?”
“We’re just passing through. We really don’t know where this is. Why don’t you tell us?” Azure Dragon asked.
“Passing through?” The creature glanced at Azure Dragon before adding,
“This is Demonic Beast Mountain, forbidden to humans. You dare trespass here? You’ll die.”
“Demonic Beast Mountain?” Billy asked. “Are there Demonic Beasts comparable to Entering God Realm here?”
“Ignorant!” The creature responded coldly. “A bunch of Mystic Kun Realm ants thinking about Entering God Realm Demonic Beasts…”
“Just tell me if there are any,” Billy interrupted him.
“Whether there are or not doesn’t matter to you. You won’t get past me!” The creature replied sternly.
