Chapter 1910: Escape

Book:The All-powerful Son-In-Law Published:2025-2-5

Elder Bloodmoon paused after throwing the beehive, just as Puppet General’s sword came slashing down. In a rush, Elder Bloodmoon could only form a Bloodshield in front of her.
Bang! The sharp sword light struck the Bloodshield. The Bloodshield shattered instantly, followed by the sound of the sword cutting into flesh. The sword light sliced down from Elder Bloodmoon’s left shoulder, leaving bloody gashes on her body.
“Ah…!” Elder Bloodmoon screamed, her old face turning pale. This strike had severely injured her because the sword light contained the power of Heavenly Thunder.
Puppet General’s figure flashed again, closing in on Elder Bloodmoon. Knowing she was in danger, Elder Bloodmoon spat out a mouthful of vital blood in desperation, instantly enveloping her body.
“Blood Escape!” A hoarse voice rang out as the vital blood surrounding Elder Bloodmoon ignited. Her speed doubled instantly, streaking through the night like a burning rainbow.
“She actually used Blood Escape to flee. That old witch really cherishes her life,” Leo muttered, his face darkening. Having just dealt with the venomous bees, it was now difficult for him to catch up with Elder Bloodmoon.
“You little bastard, just you wait. Offending my Bloodsoul Sect will leave you with no escape!” Elder Bloodmoon’s venomous voice echoed from afar in the night sky.
Leo sneered, “Bloodsoul Sect, I’ve long since offended them.” Indeed, he seemed destined to clash with the Bloodsoul Sect, having made enemies both on Earth and in this Otherworld.
Unable to sense Elder Bloodmoon’s presence anymore, Leo gave up the chase and returned the way he came.
“Look, that young man is back. Could it be that he has killed Elder Bloodmoon!?”
“Amazing! He fought and killed three Spirit Saint experts all by himself.”
“Now he’s definitely made a mortal enemy of the Bloodsoul Sect…”
On his way back, Leo heard the onlookers’ discussions but paid them no mind. There were always spectators, whether on Earth or in this world.
Leo flew directly towards Zratol. Outside Zratol under the night sky, the sounds of battle could be faintly heard. It seemed the Golden Family and the Watts family had already started their war.
Just as Leo was about to assist the Watts family, two figures appeared before him. Leo looked up to see Alejandro Gray and an elder in white robes.
“Leo, your talent is extraordinary, fighting three veteran Spirit Saint experts alone,” Alejandro Gray said with a smile.
“Lord Marquis flatters me,” Leo replied calmly.
“Leo, you are always welcome at Marquis Manor as an honored guest,” Alejandro Gray continued.
“Thank you, Lord Marquis. I will visit when I have the chance. I have other matters to attend to now. Farewell.” With that, Leo stepped on his Dragon Sword and disappeared before Alejandro Gray.
Leo knew Alejandro Gray was deliberately trying to befriend him, but now was not the time for socializing.
“Lord Marquis, this young man is extraordinary. Befriending him will only benefit us,” the white-robed elder said solemnly after Leo vanished.
“His talent is indeed exceptional, perhaps even surpassing Seraphina’s. If he could join our Marquis Manor…” Alejandro Gray’s smile hinted at deeper thoughts.
To the west, outside Zratol, there was a large grassland. The once green grass was now stained with blood. A fierce battle was unfolding here between the Golden Family and the Watts family. Spirit Saint experts from both sides, along with elders and younger members and guards from both families, were all engaged in combat.
Undoubtedly, this battle would determine the life or death of both families. The losing side might face total annihilation.
The battle raged both in the sky and on the ground. Sounds of fighting, roaring, and screaming filled the air. After more than half an hour of fighting, hundreds of corpses had piled up on the grass below. The smell of blood spread with the night wind.
In the sky, three particularly intense and shocking battle zones stood out. These were where six Spirit Saint experts from the Golden and Watts families clashed.
In the first battle zone, Golden Family patriarch Marley faced off against Watts family patriarch Brycen. Both were mid-stage Spirit Saint experts of equal strength. Deep red flames and icy white spiritual power each occupied half of the sky. Each collision seemed to shake the entire night sky.
In the second battle zone, Golden Family elder Izaiah fought against Watts family elder Ramon Watts. Both were peak lower-stage Spirit Saint experts. Their attacks were so powerful that even their residual energy could harm Cultivators below the Spirit King level. Thus, they consciously avoided the mixed battle below between the Golden and Watts families.
In the third battle zone, Golden Family head Jameson fought against Watts family head Wade. Both were lower-stage Spirit Saint experts. As the battle continued, Wade, who had recently advanced to Spirit Saint level, was slightly at a disadvantage compared to Jameson who had been at this level longer.
Holding a large fiery red blade covered in fire runes, Jameson shouted at Wade, “Wade, today your Watts family will surely lose!”
“Jameson, it’s not certain who will die today!” Wade roared back as he faced the descending blade light. His icy white sword shone brightly as it met Jameson’s attack…
Though fierce, none of the six Spirit Saint experts from both families had fallen yet. The most brutal fighting was happening below. The death toll for both families kept rising. Both sides fought ruthlessly with various techniques and spiritual weapons constantly emerging.
Blood splattered as limbs were severed or bodies pierced by spiritual weapons. Among the fallen bodies, there were slightly more from the Watts family than from the Golden Family. In recent years, the Golden Family had prospered from selling various pills and secretly amassed considerable strength, making them slightly stronger overall than the Watts family.
In one battle zone, Amber wielded her Frost Sword spiritual weapon and killed a Golden Family guest elder of equal rank after a fierce fight. Under the night sky, her white dress was stained with blood spots, but her beautiful face remained cold as frost. Though she had killed her opponent, Amber had also expended much energy and sustained internal injuries.
