A wave of energy, completely different from Lyric’s previous aura, erupted from her petite body.
Lyric’s beautiful eyes suddenly opened wide, and she exclaimed in surprise, “Hehe, I’ve broken through to the lower-tier Great Spirit Master realm!”
“Lyric, congratulations!” Arthur said with a happy smile.
Lyric stood up from the ground, her large, bright eyes looking at Leo with gratitude. “Leo, thank you for the Medicinal Feast. Not only did I enjoy the delicious food, but it also helped me break through my cultivation level.”
Leo chuckled and reached out to pat Lyric’s small head.
Using the meat of the Wolf King as the main ingredient for the Medicinal Feast, which contained abundant energy, along with the Spirit Herb and Spirit Fruit mixed in, it was almost impossible for the little girl not to break through.
In fact, Leo had noticed earlier that Lyric’s cultivation was stuck at a bottleneck period, which was why he specifically asked Arthur to bring Lyric to eat the Medicinal Feast.
Amber Watts’ usually calm face showed a hint of doubt. Could it really be the Medicinal Feast that prompted Lyric’s breakthrough?
It was known that Medicinal Feasts were different from pills. Although they contained abundant energy, after digestion and absorption, they primarily strengthened the body, with any excess energy being converted into spiritual power.
Jon Conway also had doubts in his heart, speculating, “Lyric was already on the verge of breaking through. Even without this Medicinal Feast, she would have broken through soon. I have to admit, this guy’s luck is pretty good, making Lyric think it was all thanks to the Medicinal Feast.”
Lyric was the most favored in the Watts Mansion. Jon Conway had to put in a lot of effort to win some favor from her. He didn’t expect this little girl to like this stranger so much.
Fortunately, it seemed that the eldest lady didn’t have much interest in this guy.
“Leo, I want more roasted meat,” Lyric said with blinking eyes.
The greatest benefit of a Medicinal Feast for a Cultivator was that they didn’t have to worry about overeating because it could be quickly digested and absorbed. As long as the body could handle it, they could eat as much as they wanted.
Leo turned around and walked to the grill, cutting off a large piece of roasted wolf leg meat and handing it to Lyric.
Lyric took the meat and said with a giggle, “Leo, you’re so nice. When I grow up, I want to marry you!”
Hearing this from a young girl made everyone’s expressions freeze for a moment.
Arthur couldn’t help but laugh first.
Leo also smiled. It was just innocent words from a child.
Amber Watts’ face turned stern as she scolded, “Little girl, what nonsense are you talking about? A single Medicinal Feast and you’re already bought?”
Lyric giggled and stuck out her tongue in embarrassment before continuing to eat her meat.
Arthur was almost constantly drinking soup and eating meat. At this moment, his face was flushed red, and even his exposed skin had a layer of red glow.
This was a sign of excess energy leaking out after consuming the Medicinal Feast.
“I can’t eat anymore. I’m too full. The energy in the Medicinal Feast is too abundant. I need to properly digest and absorb it.”
Arthur walked to the edge of a small lake, sat down cross-legged, formed hand seals, and began to digest the energy from the Medicinal Feast.
About ten minutes later, the red glow on Arthur’s face and skin showed no signs of fading, and his aura began to gradually rise.
Seeing the changes in Arthur and feeling the aura emanating from him, Amber Watts was shocked. “Arthur is about to break through to… the Spirit Venerable realm!?”
Arthur had been stuck at the peak of the upper-tier Spirit General realm for over a year without any signs of breaking through. Unexpectedly, after eating the Medicinal Feast, he could immediately break through the barrier!
Jon Conway was equally shocked. Even though he didn’t want to admit it, he knew that Arthur’s and Lyric’s breakthroughs were fundamentally due to the Medicinal Feast.
Lyric sensed that her second brother was also about to break through and exclaimed happily, “Great! Arthur is about to become even stronger!”
As Arthur’s aura continued to rise, a vortex of spiritual power formed above his head.
The spiritual energy between heaven and earth flowed into the vortex and then into Arthur’s body, where it was refined by him.
Time passed by slowly, and the vortex above Arthur’s head grew larger.
Clearly, Arthur’s breakthrough had reached a critical moment.
Leo waved his sleeve, and over a hundred Low-Quality Spirit Stones floated out. One by one, they flew into the vortex at intervals.
About twenty minutes later, the vortex above Arthur’s head disappeared, and a powerful aura of the Spirit Venerable realm burst out from his body.
Arthur had successfully broken through to the lower-tier Spirit Venerable realm.
Arthur let out a long breath and suddenly opened his eyes, filled with joy.
He stood up from the ground and laughed heartily. “I finally broke through to the Spirit Venerable realm! This feels amazing!”
“Leo, I really have to thank you. Without your Medicinal Feast, I don’t know when I would have broken through to the Spirit Venerable realm.”
Arthur looked at Leo with gratitude.
Arthur knew very well that it was because of the abundant energy contained in the Wolf King’s meat used in the Medicinal Feast and because he ate enough that he could break through to the Spirit Venerable realm in one go.
Leo smiled calmly. “Congratulations on breaking through to the Spirit Venerable realm.”
“Congratulations! Congratulations!” Lyric ran up to Arthur and cheered excitedly.
Jon Conway was deeply shocked because even his father’s personally prepared Medicinal Feasts couldn’t make a Cultivator suddenly break through after eating them.
Although Medicinal Feasts contained abundant energy, their primary function was to enhance the eater’s physique; improving cultivation levels was secondary.
Amber Watts shifted her gaze from Arthur to the grill and then to the pot of meat soup. Her eyes sparkled with thoughtfulness.
If Lyric’s breakthrough was a coincidence, how could Arthur’s breakthrough be explained?
Amber Watts didn’t believe that two coincidental events could happen so easily together.
“Who exactly is this man Arthur brought? Is he a chef specializing in Medicinal Feasts? And what kind of Medicinal Feast did he cook?” Amber Watts was now full of curiosity about Leo.
“Hehe, Leo, I’m hungry again,” Arthur said sheepishly as he patted his round belly.
Leo generously waved his hand. “Help yourself. Eat as much as you want.”
Arthur walked to the grill and cut off a piece of wolf leg meat with a dagger.
Instead of eating it himself, he turned around and walked over to Amber Watts. “Amber, have a piece. This is not ordinary beast meat.”
Lyric also scooped a bowl of meat soup and brought it to Amber Watts with both hands. “Amber, let’s eat together. Eating Leo’s Medicinal Feast is very beneficial for improving cultivation.”
