Even with the addition of Cultivators, over two hundred Stormfire Wolves continued their frenzied assault on George Collins.
Despite the protection of Elder Noah and Elder Archie, the sheer number of Stormfire Wolves overwhelmed them. Even with their Spirit Sect level strength, they couldn’t fend off all the wolves.
Soon, a Stormfire Wolf at the Demon General level broke through the elders’ defenses and lunged at George Collins.
In George Collins’ terrified gaze, the wolf’s massive jaws clamped down on his thigh.
The wolf’s razor-sharp teeth severed George Collins’ entire leg in one bite.
Throwing back its head, the Stormfire Wolf swallowed George Collins’ leg whole.
A blood-curdling scream erupted from George Collins’ mouth as blood spurted out, nearly causing him to faint.
“Lord George!” Elder Noah and Elder Archie cried out in horror.
“George Collins!!” In mid-air, Lucas Collins’ fur stood on end, his eyes turned red with madness.
The other Cultivators felt a heavy weight in their hearts. They had done their best, but this still happened.
At that moment, two more Stormfire Wolves broke through the defensive circle and charged at the fallen, one-legged George Collins.
“Father, save me!” George Collins screamed in terror.
But no one could save him now.
With a series of crunching sounds, George Collins’ body was dismembered by the two Stormfire Wolves.
The wolves then devoured George Collins, leaving not a scrap of flesh behind.
Such a bloody scene had occurred to many Cultivators before, but this time it shocked everyone because the victim was the son of Clearwind Town’s lord.
“Ahhh…! George Collins! My son!!” Lucas Collins cried out hoarsely in mid-air, his body trembling.
Given Lucas Collins’ current cultivation and age, having another child was nearly impossible.
In other words, with George Collins dead, Lucas Collins was left without an heir.
Seeing the heart-wrenching expression on Lucas Collins’ face, the Wolf King felt a surge of satisfaction: “Well done, well done!”
“Ah…! I will bury you all with my son!” Lucas Collins’ hair turned white in an instant, his face filled with madness and hatred.
Lucas Collins took out a small white jade bottle and poured all the pills inside into his mouth.
After swallowing the pills, Lucas Collins’ aura surged dramatically, his spiritual power roiling within him.
“Monster, die!” Lucas Collins’ blood-red eyes locked onto the Wolf King as he channeled his spiritual power into the Windspirit Blade.
The Windspirit Blade emitted a clear, resonant sound that echoed through the heavens, its blade glowing with a fierce green light.
“Wind Spirit Nine Slash!” Lucas Collins roared.
The Wind Spirit Nine Slash was the highest technique of the Windspirit Blade. Normally, Lucas Collins could only perform eight slashes, but after taking the pills that temporarily boosted his cultivation, he risked destabilizing his foundation to unleash the ninth slash.
Nine terrifying sword beams erupted from the Windspirit Blade, carrying Lucas Collins’ overwhelming rage as they slashed towards the heavily injured Wolf King.
The Wolf King refused to go down without a fight and burned its inner core and blood essence to unleash its final lightning strike.
However, the Wolf King’s lightning only destroyed one sword beam; the remaining eight beams struck the Wolf King.
Time seemed to pause for a second before the Wolf King’s massive body shattered into pieces under the force of the sword beams and fell from the sky.
Thus, the Wolf King of the Stormfire Wolf clan was slain by Lucas Collins.
The Cultivators on the ground looked at the fallen Wolf King’s body and then at Lucas Collins, whose white hair flew wildly as he descended into madness. They felt more fear than relief.
Witnessing their leader’s death, all the Stormfire Wolves in the valley howled mournfully.
Without their spiritual pillar, the Stormfire Wolves’ fighting spirit collapsed instantly.
A Demon General level Stormfire Wolf howled and led the retreat out of the valley.
Following suit, all the Stormfire Wolves fled towards the valley’s exit.
Though not highly intelligent, they weren’t foolish enough to die for their king.
“None of you will escape; you will all die!” Lucas Collins flashed forward, swinging his Windspirit Blade wildly.
Terrifying sword beams continuously shot out from the Windspirit Blade.
The fleeing Stormfire Wolves fell one by one under the relentless green sword beams.
The thick scent of blood once again permeated the valley.
“Die! All of you die! Bury yourselves with my son!!” Lucas Collins landed on the ground, roaring like a madman.
At the same time, he didn’t stop attacking. Massive green sword beams kept erupting from his blade.
Not only did this massacre affect the fleeing Stormfire Wolves, but even nearby Cultivators were caught in it and lost their lives to the deadly sword beams.
This scene struck fear into those Cultivators who hadn’t been hit by the sword beams.
“He’s gone mad! Lucas Collins has gone mad!”
“He wants to kill us all.”
“Run…”
The Cultivators shouted in terror because they knew they couldn’t match Lucas Collins’ power.
By now, only a dozen or so Cultivators remained alive in the valley, including Leo and Arthur Watts.
In the distance, an old rogue cultivator named Duran also survived. Seeing things take a turn for the worse, he tried to escape but was met with a massive green sword beam slashing towards him.
Duran’s eyes filled with fear as he summoned what little spiritual power he had left to form a light shield in front of him.
The green sword beam struck the light shield with immense force, shattering it instantly.
Under the powerful impact, Duran was sent flying backward, spitting blood from his mouth.
Driven mad by George Collins’ gruesome death and overdosing on pills, Lucas Collins had lost all reason. He swung his sword indiscriminately at friend and foe alike.
Even Elder Noah and Elder Archie narrowly avoided being hit by the green sword beams.
Fear flickered in both elders’ eyes.
Elder Noah spotted Leo and quickly pointed at him: “My lord, it was that boy who caused Lord George’s death. He lured three Demon General level Stormfire Wolves to kill Lord George…”
“My lord, grievances have their sources; you should kill that boy!” Elder Archie shouted as well.
“My lord, Lord George’s death has nothing to do with us…” The surviving Cultivators cried out in terror.
Hearing Elder Noah and Elder Archie’s words, Lucas Collins regained a sliver of sanity and turned his blood-red eyes towards Leo.
