Under the pincer attack, many Cultivators could only silently mourn for Leo. In their view, despite Leo’s impressive actions, he was ultimately doomed.
“Leo!” Fatty Arthur Watts called out again, his palms sweaty as he was unable to help.
Facing the two attacks in front and the three Thunder Pillars behind, Leo remained unflustered.
Just as the attacks were about to hit him, Leo’s figure suddenly vanished.
With a thought, a layer of brilliant starlight erupted around Leo. As his toes touched the ground, his speed surged dramatically, and he disappeared from his original spot just as the fierce attacks arrived.
The three Thunder Pillars collided with the Thornwood Barbs and the fiery palm print, producing a massive explosion and dazzling light.
Powerful energy waves spread outwards, causing nearby Cultivators and Stormfire Wolves to stagger back in disarray.
The three Demon General-level Stormfire Wolves also retreated a few steps. Elder Archie and Elder Noah managed to stabilize themselves but their faces turned pale.
The Thornwood Barbs and fiery palm print vanished along with two Thunder Pillars after the explosion, leaving one Thunder Pillar hurtling towards Elder Noah and Elder Archie.
Elder Archie struck with his right hand, sending out another fiery palm print that shattered the remaining Thunder Pillar.
When everything settled, Leo’s figure was nowhere to be seen.
“Where did he go?”
“Probably turned to ashes.”
“Sigh, what a tragic end.”
Many Cultivators shook their heads and sighed.
“Hmph, foolish thing. He dared to plot against me and now there’s not even a corpse left.” George Collins sneered with satisfaction from atop his Sabertooth.
However, before George Collins could retract his sneer, a shout rang in his ears.
“Look, he’s not dead! He’s in the air!” An observant Cultivator pointed to the sky near George Collins.
The other Cultivators looked up to see a figure standing with a sword in mid-air, looking cool and impressive.
“He actually survived!”
“Wow… He easily dodged the attacks from three Demon General-level Stormfire Wolves and two Spirit Sect-level experts. Amazing!”
“He can stand in mid-air! No one at the Great Spirit Master level could possibly do that!”
The Cultivators were astonished and began discussing fervently.
“Impossible! How could he survive with just a Great Spirit Master level cultivation?” George Collins’s face was filled with disbelief as he looked up at Leo’s cold smile, his heart pounding with panic.
“During the explosion, I sensed an unusual energy fluctuation,” Elder Archie said with narrowed eyes.
“I felt it too. It was very brief,” Elder Noah said solemnly, realizing something.
Elder Archie declared, “That kid is definitely not simple. His strength is far beyond the Great Spirit Master level!”
Although Leo’s current aura was that of a peak upper-level Great Spirit Master, Elder Archie refused to believe it.
In mid-air, Leo ignored the astonished voices of the Cultivators and focused on George Collins.
Leo flipped his right hand, revealing a Talisman.
He then threw the Talisman, which attacked the three stunned Demon General-level Stormfire Wolves.
Scarlet flames poured down like a waterfall from the sky, engulfing the three Stormfire Wolves.
Burned by the flames, the Stormfire Wolves roared in fury. Meanwhile, Leo’s figure flashed and appeared behind George Collins in mid-air.
The Stormfire Wolves couldn’t fly and had to charge at George Collins to attack Leo.
“Elders, stop the Stormfire Wolves!” George Collins shouted urgently.
Elder Noah and Elder Archie responded by unleashing their spiritual power to suppress the charging Stormfire Wolves.
The Stormfire Wolves howled, their bodies crackling with lightning as they broke through the spiritual power attack.
Two of the Stormfire Wolves lunged at Elder Noah and Elder Archie while the strongest one transformed into lightning and pounced on George Collins.
It aimed for Leo behind George Collins, but George Collins would inevitably be caught in between and suffer first.
George Collins’s face turned pale as panic surged through him.
Seeing that George Collins hadn’t dodged, the Stormfire Wolf roared and opened its jaws wide, biting towards George Collins on his Sabertooth mount.
George Collins’s Sabertooth was only at the lower Demon General level and no match for an upper Demon General-level Stormfire Wolf.
The Sabertooth’s fur bristled as it growled and tried to escape with George Collins.
But it was too slow. The Stormfire Wolf bit down on George Collins’s head without hesitation.
“Lord George!” Elder Noah and Elder Archie shouted urgently.
They wanted to turn back to help but were entangled by the other two Stormfire Wolves.
Seeing the Stormfire Wolf’s jaws coming at him, George Collins was terrified but not completely helpless. He channeled his spiritual power and rolled off the Sabertooth’s back just in time.
The Stormfire Wolf pinned the Sabertooth to the ground and bit its neck fiercely.
The Sabertooth howled in pain as it tried to shake off the Stormfire Wolf with its demonic power.
But the Stormfire Wolf was much larger and stronger than the Sabertooth, making it impossible for the Sabertooth to break free.
Blood gushed from the Sabertooth’s neck as it struggled less and less until it finally went limp.
Once the Sabertooth stopped moving, the Stormfire Wolf released its bite and crushed its head with a paw.
“My Sabertooth!”
Seeing his precious mount killed by the Stormfire Wolf, George Collins let out a painful scream.
In Clearwind Town and even across Wu Dynasty, not everyone could own a demonic beast mount. If George Collins lived on Earth, his Sabertooth would be like his supercar-a symbol of pride.
George Collins’s scream caught the Stormfire Wolf’s attention. It roared and charged at him with lightning speed.
George Collins trembled in fear. As an upper Spirit Master who relied on pills to reach his level, he was no match for a Demon General-level Stormfire Wolf.
Elder Noah wanted to help but was struck by a lightning bolt from his opponent’s Stormfire Wolf.
In desperation, George Collins summoned a green shield from his Storage Sack.
