Tiger barely had time to react before a Super Warrior clawed at his back.
Blood gushed from the deep wounds, but he managed to recover just in time. Had he hesitated a moment longer, he might have been killed.
Apart from the Death Guards, who could barely hold their ground, the other members of the Wizards were no match for the Super Warriors.
One by one, the Wizards’ members were torn apart, their bodies shredded into pieces. Flesh and organs scattered across the ground, painting a gruesome, blood-soaked scene that sent shivers down spines.
None of those killed by the Super Warriors were left alive. Their deaths were horrifyingly brutal.
The air was thick with the stench of blood, overwhelming anyone who dared breathe it in.
Despite the grim situation, the Wizards’ members retaliated fiercely, unloading their firearms at the Super Warriors. While the bullets couldn’t kill them outright, a direct shot to the head would reduce even a Super Warrior’s skull to pulp, ensuring their death.
Chris’s face darkened as he watched the chaos unfold.
He had not anticipated this-a hidden force of Super Warriors within the Wizards’ headquarters.
While Chris himself could deal with them, it was evident that the rest of his people were struggling.
Suddenly, his eyes landed on the vehicles parked nearby, and his mind lit up with an idea.
“Tiger, get over here now!” Chris shouted.
Tiger, confused, ran over. “Master, what are your orders?”
Chris smirked and quickly outlined his plan.
Hearing the strategy, Tiger’s eyes brightened with understanding. He immediately ordered his men to drain all the gasoline from the vehicles.
“Set it on fire!” Chris commanded.
Without hesitation, Tiger lit a match and tossed it toward the gasoline.
Boom!
A massive explosion ignited, and a wall of fire engulfed the Super Warriors.
Roars of rage erupted from within the blazing inferno.
The flames raged for half an hour before finally subsiding.
Just as everyone thought the Super Warriors had been burned to death, one emerged from the ashes.
This Super Warrior was still ablaze, his body wreathed in flames. Gripping a machete, he roared furiously.
The sight left everyone in shock.
The Wizards’ members, in particular, looked as if they had seen a ghost.
How could these creatures survive such an intense fire? What kind of monsters were they?
Without wasting a word, Chris gripped his Dragon Slayer sword and charged forward.
With a single strike, he severed the flaming Super Warrior’s head.
After dealing with the Super Warriors, the Death Guards swiftly eliminated the remaining traitors and armed guards.
When the battle was over, the scene was one of utter devastation.
The ground was littered with corpses, and blood stained every surface.
Most of the bodies belonged to the Wizards’ members, though a few were from the Hall of Death.
The Wizards had suffered catastrophic losses, with over ten thousand of their members dead.
The Hall of Death had also lost over a thousand fighters, though Chris managed to eliminate several hundred Super Warriors on his own.
Not a single building in the Wizards’ headquarters remained intact. The once-grand structures were now reduced to rubble.
Amidst the carnage, Aiden Enyart’s eyes reddened with grief.
Covered in blood and riddled with wounds, Aiden stood in silence. Though none of his injuries were fatal, they told the story of a hard-fought battle.
The aftermath of the conflict left many wounded, including some Death Guards. Over a hundred of them had been killed by the Super Warriors.
As Chris gazed at the fallen Death Guards, he fell into a heavy silence.
The wounded Death Guards were promptly sent to the hospital under Tiger’s orders.
Compared to the Wizards’ devastating losses, the Death Guards’ casualties were minimal.
Still, Chris’s fury burned.
This disaster, he knew, was all Daniel Williams’s doing.
“Hall Master, we’ve captured Ezra, the traitor!”
Black Cougar approached, dragging a heavily injured Ezra with him. His face was twisted with rage.
Ezra had survived the battle but had been caught by Black Cougar while trying to escape.
Aiden Enyart glared at Ezra, his voice trembling with emotion. “Ezra, I treated you well. Why did you betray me?”
Ezra burst into laughter, his voice filled with mockery. “Aiden Enyart, the victor writes the rules. Today, I lost, but I won’t accept it. Even if I die, I’ll take all of you with me!”
With those words, Ezra pulled out a remote detonator.
Chris’s eyes widened. “No!” he shouted.
Before Ezra could press the button, Chris fired his weapon.
Bang!
The bullet pierced Ezra’s forehead, killing him instantly.
But in his final moment, Ezra’s finger pressed the detonator, a wicked smile curling across his lips.
Chris roared, “Everyone, get out now!”
At his command, the group quickly evacuated the Wizards’ headquarters.
The moment they cleared the area, a massive explosion rocked the ground.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
The Wizards’ entire headquarters was obliterated in a series of earth-shattering explosions.
Ezra had planted explosives throughout the headquarters, ready to detonate them if his plan failed.
The blast reduced the Wizards’ base to rubble.
Thanks to Chris’s timely warning, most of their people escaped unscathed. However, some injured Wizards members were unable to flee in time and perished in the explosion.
As Aiden Enyart stared at the smoking ruins of their headquarters, the weight of the loss overwhelmed him, and he fainted.
Black Cougar immediately gathered his men to rush Aiden to the hospital.
Tiger, still in shock, exclaimed, “That Ezra was truly ruthless! If we hadn’t evacuated in time, we’d all be dead now.”
Everyone was shaken.
Chris’s quick thinking had saved their lives, but the sheer destruction left them unsettled.
Though the Wizards’ headquarters had been destroyed, their influence as the leading power in Star Continent remained intact. They still held properties across the continent.
Aiden Enyart, once recovered, reorganized the Wizards and reclaimed his position as Hall Master.
His first act was to purge the organization of all traitors loyal to Ezra.
The Dragon House, Ezra’s faction, was disbanded and removed from the Wizards’ ranks. From that day forward, the Wizards had only nine Houses instead of ten.
This battle had severely weakened the Wizards.
To preserve their standing as the dominant force in Star Continent, Aiden issued an order summoning all Wizards members worldwide to return to the continent.
Rebuilding the Wizards’ headquarters became a priority.
A few days later, Chris prepared to leave.
Aiden, surprised, asked, “Mr. Shelby, are you returning already?”
