Chapter 1171

The twin sisters opened their eyes simultaneously.
Adeline looked down at her hands, staring for a while before stepping out of the formation.
Fatima followed her, asking, “Adeline, do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? How do you feel now?”
Adeline and Fatima shook their heads. She couldn’t tell if she felt good or bad.
She couldn’t make a judgment.
“I don’t know. My chest doesn’t hurt as much, and my body feels lighter. Does this mean I’m getting better?”
Sylvia glanced at the twins and said nonchalantly, “Your condition has been chronic for twenty years. It’s impossible to recover in just a few minutes. You still need some time to recuperate, but you should be fine soon. You should be no different from a normal person.”
“How long? How long exactly?” Brittany asked excitedly, as if seeing a lifeline. “Miss Andrews, can you tell me how long? Give me some hope.”
“At least three months, at most six. Her body should recover. If anything goes wrong, contact me anytime,” Sylvia said calmly. “So, there’s no need to rush or worry. The formation worked well and was successful.”
Brittany burst into tears. “Thank you, thank you! You are truly our savior.”
She cried out loud, “Heaven has eyes! Finally, we met a great benefactor who saved both of my daughters!”
“Thank you, Miss Andrews.” Adeline felt hopeful thinking about her future recovery, being able to run and jump like a normal person, get married, have children, or go to work. Everything seemed possible.
With a thud, Fatima knelt before Sylvia and kowtowed three times. “I have no way to repay you. I am willing to follow Miss Andrews and serve you to repay your kindness.”
“I don’t accept followers easily,” Sylvia chuckled, raising an eyebrow at Fatima. “Many people want to follow me. What makes you worthy of being accepted?”
“I…” Fatima was at a loss. She wasn’t strong or skilled, only had a bachelor’s degree, and no outstanding talents. After a while, she awkwardly said, “I can paint and play the piano… I…”
She didn’t seem to have anything particularly impressive.
“I can also paint and play the piano. I can do all these things myself. Why would I need you?” Sylvia looked at her calmly, with a hint of indifference in her expression.
Adeline bit her lip and knelt beside Fatima. “Miss Andrews, the children of the Gentry family have studied medicine since childhood. Although we are not as skilled as our brother Casey, we are not far behind.”
“Medicine…” Sylvia glanced at them. “Then go to Middle Evroya.”
“Middle Evroya? No!” Brittany reacted strongly upon hearing Sylvia’s decision. “That place is very poor. How can you endure such hardship after being pampered all your life?”
She glared at Sylvia and shouted, “My daughters want to stay by your side, not suffer in Middle Evroya! Miss Andrews, if you want to keep them, keep them. If not, don’t torture them… I only have these two precious daughters… Miss Andrews, please have mercy on a mother’s heart…”
Sylvia grew annoyed with Brittany’s whining. “They want to follow me. Where they go is up to me. The female prime minister of Middle Evroya, Isabelle, is my friend, and I founded the Women’s and Children’s Protection Association there. Since they know medicine and don’t want to be idle ladies anymore, I’m providing them with a platform to shine. Is that not acceptable?”
“We’ll go!” Fatima kowtowed again. “I don’t want to live a meaningless life of shopping and tea parties with friends anymore. Miss Andrews helped the Gentry family selflessly; I want to be like her.”
Adeline nodded firmly. “I had many grievances against the Gentry family and mother, but now… I suddenly don’t hate them anymore. I want to join Fatima in using our medical skills to help more people.”
“Aren’t you afraid of hardship in Middle Evroya?” Sylvia scrutinized the delicate sisters. “Don’t come crying about the hardships later.”
The sisters exchanged a glance and said in unison, “We won’t.”
Sylvia smiled. “Alright then, I’ll have the twin brothers escort you to Middle Evroya. Find Sierra; she will arrange everything for you.”
Hearing that the twin brothers would escort them made the sisters blush as they thought of the brothers’ handsome faces.
Brittany was heartbroken but helpless.
Clearly, no one would heed her opinion.
In the end, she could only cry and say, “I’ll pack your luggage.”
As they left the resting room, the sky was already darkening.
Sylvia glanced outside and returned to the guesthouse where she and Franklin were staying.
At nightfall, the twin sisters and twin brothers headed to the airport for Middle Evroya.
Watching them leave, Sylvia and Franklin boarded a helicopter.
The helicopter circled above the Gentry family estate before flying away.
Casey watched the helicopter’s shadow disappear with reluctance. “Who knows when we’ll see Miss Andrews again.”
“I never expected Fatima and Adeline to choose to follow Miss Andrews,” Tony remarked. “It’s their fortune.”
Reginald chuckled. “Miss Andrews is kind-hearted and wise; those sisters will be blessed in the future.”
Sylvia’s display of formation skills convinced Reginald that she was undoubtedly Master Newman’s true disciple.
Master Newman had an excellent eye for finding such an outstanding successor.
On the helicopter, Franklin opened a bottle of water and handed it to Sylvia. “Have some water.”
She took a sip and said, “I wonder if Vaild and the others have boarded their plane yet.”
“They should have,” Jaden replied cheerfully. “I didn’t expect Sylvia’s charm to attract those sisters into joining us.”
After taking Snake Gallbladder for several days, his body recovered quickly.
He felt even better than before.
Indeed, Snake Gallbladder was as beneficial as rumored.
Sylvia smiled without saying more; she felt tired. Spending another day at the Gentry family estate had been exhausting, especially using the formation.
“What do you plan to do when we get back?” Franklin noticed her fatigue and began massaging her temples gently. “Why don’t you take a nap?”
Sylvia nodded and leaned into his embrace, closing her eyes.
His massage was just right, making her feel comfortable.
Soon enough, she fell asleep in his arms.
Hearing her steady breathing, Franklin stopped massaging and held her close as he closed his eyes too.
Although he didn’t know what Sylvia had done for Fatima and Adeline during the day, seeing their loyalty surprised him.
But considering it was Sylvia, he wasn’t too surprised.
His wife was remarkable; recruiting two girls as followers wasn’t difficult for her.
He looked down at Sylvia’s peaceful sleeping face with satisfaction.
Without the twin brothers around, the cabin felt quieter as Jaden watched TV and played on his phone.
Jasper piloted the helicopter through the night sky.
Franklin rested his eyes too.
Time passed slowly until dawn broke; Jasper had been flying for hours.
Franklin gently placed Sylvia on a seat before taking over from Jasper.
“It’s four in the morning now; let me take over so you can rest.”
Franklin patted Jasper’s shoulder.
Jasper rubbed his tired eyes. “I’m not tired, sir.”
“Listen!” Franklin’s tone deepened slightly, prompting Jasper to comply.
After switching places, Franklin began piloting while gazing at the dimly lit sky ahead.
Jasper fell asleep as soon as he sat down.
When he woke up again at eight in the morning, they had landed on Franklin’s private villa rooftop in Aettosa.
Sylvia stretched as she got off the helicopter and took a breath of fresh air.
“The air here isn’t as fresh as in the mountains.”
“But this is where people live; the mountains aren’t suitable for living,” Jaden laughed as he started unloading things.
Franklin’s men were already waiting for their return and greeted them warmly upon arrival.
“Quickly unload everything; there’s quite a lot,” Jasper instructed while carrying a box himself.
With many hands helping out, it took only ten minutes to unload dozens of boxes from the helicopter into the villa’s storage room.
Except for one box of antiques meant for a museum, most would remain there.
“I’ve been away from the Presidential Palace for too long; I need to return,” Franklin kissed Sylvia’s forehead. “Otherwise, my father will be furious.”
“Bring these items with you; he won’t be able to stay mad,” Sylvia pointed at the box of antiques. “He’ll be too happy.”
Franklin smiled slightly. “He’s lucky.”
