This spontaneous scene was seen by the servants not far away in the yard. They smiled and couldn’t help but discuss, “Have you noticed that ever since the young master has been with Miss Campbell, he seems less aloof, and he smiles more often?”
“That’s probably the power of love; literature can nourish people, and so can love.”
“I really hope they stay this happy forever. They are such a good match.”
“They will, definitely.”
The servants were very optimistic about them and sincerely wished them well.
Agnes had dinner there.
“Stay the night,” Grandma said kindly, holding the girl’s hand, reluctant to let her go, her eyes full of affection. Such a good-natured girl, it was a pleasure just to look at her. After spending some time together, Agnes left a much better impression than Lisa.
Agnes remembered her parents saying that before marriage, she shouldn’t live together with him or get pregnant out of wedlock.
At that moment, Agnes’s phone rang. It was her sister calling. She quickly answered, “Hello, sister.”
“Today is Aunt’s birthday. Mom and Dad went to celebrate and won’t be back tonight. Are you at Tom’s house?”
“Yes,” the girl answered honestly.
“So whether you come back or not is up to you!” Summer said to her.
Agnes thought for a moment and softly replied, “Okay, I understand.”
Summer knew that her sister and this soon-to-be brother-in-law had already gotten their marriage certificate.
After the call ended, Grandma held her hand again and insisted, “Bubu, you two have already got your marriage certificate, and it’s not like you haven’t stayed over before. Since it’s already late, why not stay? What’s there to feel awkward about? This will be your home sooner or later.”
Agnes thought about it. Deep down, she also looked forward to being with Tom. She loved him and instinctively leaned towards him.
“Okay,” she agreed with a smile.
Grandma was truly delighted and played two games of chess with her.
Tom sat beside them, accompanying them. The yard was decorated with lights, and the villa was brightly lit, warm, and cozy.
At eight o’clock in the evening, Tom took Agnes upstairs. Holding her hand, he said mysteriously, “I want to show you something.” He led her towards a room she had never been to before.
Agnes followed quietly and obediently by his side.
When the door opened, Agnes was stunned by what she saw!
It was a girl’s walk-in closet of over a hundred square meters. The cabinets were well-arranged with tea-green glass doors and equipped with lighting inside.
The cabinets all around were filled with various women’s clothes. Different colors, different styles, different brands-there were sections for long and short dresses. There was even an area specifically for hats and rows of high heels shining under the lights, all in her size.
There were sections for accessories, dressing mirrors, shoe-changing stools… even scarves…
It was like a high-end women’s clothing store! Everything was neatly arranged and complete.
As she stepped inside, Agnes felt the youthful vibe from the fashionable clothes. She knew these were all prepared for her by him.
Her heart was filled with emotion; it felt so good to be valued so much.
“Do you like it?” Tom asked with a smile in his eyes as he looked at the girl beside him. “I prepared all of this for you myself; I picked out every piece of clothing.”
