As soon as the car came to a stop outside the city hall, Tom Fritz, holding a bouquet of flowers, opened the car door and extended his hand to her like a gentleman. Agnes looked like a beautiful little princess today, her eyes filled with a happy smile as she placed her hand in his palm. Stepping out of the car in white high heels, Tom handed her the flowers.
“Thank you.” She was deeply moved by this small surprise, holding the bouquet up to her nose and inhaling its fragrance. “They smell wonderful and look so beautiful.”
“Flowers for a beauty, as long as you like them.” Tom then took out a white veil. “Here, let me help you put it on.” The veil was of exceptional quality, with several layers of varying lengths and a white bow on top.
Before she could react, he gently placed the veil on her head, perfectly matching her dress for the day as if they were made to be worn together. Holding the bouquet, dressed in a white gown with the veil and wearing light makeup, her dark eyes sparkled with life.
She exuded an aura of timeless tranquility. Their eyes met, filled with anticipation and emotion.
Tom looked especially handsome today. His natural charm was enhanced by his good physique and excellent taste in clothing. A CEO didn’t always have to be aloof or stern; when facing his beloved, he was all smiles and warmth-full of life and emotion.
Tom wrapped his arm around her shoulder. “Shall we go inside?”
“Yes.” She had imagined this moment countless times.
Tom led her inside, with two girls following behind them. Agnes noticed that the makeup artist had taken on the role of photographer, capturing every moment with a camera-it seemed they were making a video for lasting memories.
“You are so thoughtful,” she said, feeling deeply moved as he held her close. “You even arranged for a photographer.”
Tom replied, “It’s something that happens only once in a lifetime; I felt it needed to be documented. When we’re old, we can sit in the yard watching the sunset and reminisce about today.”
She said, “We will be happy and feel proud of our courage today.”
“Yes,” Tom affirmed with conviction, determined to protect her for life.
He had prepared everything in advance: the white dress, veil, flowers, choker, certificate box, and celebratory stickers. The photographer was very dedicated-a meticulous girl who captured both videos and photos throughout the entire process of obtaining their marriage certificate.
They pressed their fingerprints, took their vows at the certificate table, and had their ID photos taken-every significant moment was recorded.
“Congratulations on becoming legally married,” said the staff member as they handed over two sacred marriage certificates.
Tom and Agnes received them with both hands. “Thank you.” At that moment, their hearts were filled not only with happiness but also deep emotion.
Just like that, they had formed a family. They had chosen each other resolutely as partners for life.
Hand in hand, each holding their marriage certificate to cover half their face, they posed for close-up shots taken by the photographer. They looked at each other with smiles or embraced and kissed-each photo brimming with joy.
Their slender fingers formed heart shapes. Agnes held the bouquet while Tom hugged her from behind; every captured moment was exceptionally beautiful.
As they continued taking pictures, Agnes became emotional and teary-eyed. She couldn’t help but hug him tightly, listening to his heartbeat with happiness. “It feels so unreal that we’ve actually gotten our marriage certificate.”
“I feel the same,” Tom said somewhat dazedly. “I can’t believe I have a wife now.” But he was genuinely very happy.
