Chapter 97
Lilia’s Pov
I swallowed for a moment and Melody looked at me like a Halloween horror when I nodded at him.
“Let them in, they are already here right?”
“Lilia, this is Russia. Going to the station for any reason would have your name plastered on their records. It’s bad.”Melody shrieked in worry and I bit my lips.
“I know but they are here, all thanks to her! I’m going to defend myself. Open the door, Ian!” I told my cousin and he sighed sadly, pressing a button to open the door and they came inside. I guess I’m always very full of surprises and run out of luck because even though I’m at my uncle’s home, I was about to get punished for a crime that didn’t exist.
They flashed their IDs towards us and introduced themselves from the international police force.
“We got a complaint that someone illegally broke into the house.” The cop stared at each of us in confusion.
“That’s the bitch, don’t ask further questions. Throw her out and never let her come back!” Stacy spat out and I swallowed.
“She’s not a thief or anything suspicious please, this is her uncle’s house but she’s being so dramatic for her to leave so that she can keep molesting the kids with maltreatment.” Melody jumped to my rescue as if she couldn’t bear to see them touch me or accuse me falsely.
“Molesting kids!” He frowned in disgust and Melody nodded, grabbing Ian by the arm to show his body when the door opened and my uncle finally came in.
“Daddy?!” Ionna squeaked in excitement but Uncle Morphyl totally looked like a stranger in his own home as he looked at the policemen, his kids, Melody, and finally me.
“Luna?” He gasped in horror and rushed to meet me, hugging me so tightly that I could almost suffocate.
“Oh goddess Lilia!! I was worried as hell, I followed the news, I followed what happened, and heard everything about what you’ve gone through. What are you doing in Russia? Tell me why you’re not in Midnight Shade!” He was so nervous, happy, and confused as well.
“You know her?” One of the cops asked my uncle who glared at them and exchanged words in Russian with them before his eyes darkened for a moment and he turned to me.
“Who the fuck reported you to the police?” His voice was deadly and I swallowed.
“Aunt Stacy did! She called Lilia a bitch and slapped Ian for trying to explain.”
Ionna wasted no second in explaining and Uncle Morphyl looked as if he heard the worst news to demoralize his day.
“That’s enough officers, I apologize for the misunderstanding with my wife. She’s just being paranoid and looking out for the kids. It’s time to go.”
He said in a calm tone and tried to explain to the officers who seemed pissied and cursed in Russian before leaving the room and Uncle snapped immediately.
“What the fuck Stacy? Are you high on drugs or something, how dare you call a cop on my cousin! A royal personality!” He yelled and dropped the stethoscope on the table and she scoffed.
“She was being bitchy and”
“And so what? So fucking what? Are you saying that Alexander might be here tomorrow and you’ll call the cops against him because of his ego?” She rolled her eyes at him and huffed.
“He’s an Alpha Morphyl, why would I do that to him when I know how deadly he can be.”
“Oh really, and you don’t think he can be deadly too if his Luna is being fucked up too?”
“You’re beginning to spew rubbish because she’s your cousin and just feel like getting under my skin!” She spat out, feeling irritated and trying to leave.
“Listen to me carefully Stacy, she’s Alexander’s Luna! Your own Luna of our visa gets revoked and we decided to go back home. You will never in your entire life try this shit again and you’re going to apologize!” He yelled and her eyes squinted in shock.
“She’s .. Lu.. Luna?” She asked again to be sure but my Uncle dragged me away from her to a very neat and spacious room.
“Rest Lilia, I’ll prepare a hot soup right away.”
“Where’s my Aunty! Did you divorce her only to bring in this one week after?” I asked him, feeling so disappointed and he swallowed.
“Get rest Lilia, we’ll talk about me tomorrow.” He said and exited the room.

The next morning, I poured out my heart to my uncle and he felt so mad and angry at Felix’s actions.
“What if I was never here, is that however l you would have roamed around the city and looking penniless in your condition? I need to tell the Alpha, I need to call him to”
“No!” I held his hands and shook my head.
“Don’t tell anyone please, teach me on what to do to bring Felix to his last breaking point before I arrive at the Pack. I want my revenge uncle and If I don’t get it, I might die in regret!”
I cried and sniffed har, biting my lips.
“I need your help uncle to let my parents know that I’m fine because if they know about this , my dad would lose it and cause a commotion.” He nodded at me and felt my temperature.
“You can break him emotionally and taint his pride, Lilia. Felix is not a true blood of the Wilsons!” He Blurted out and my eyes widened in shock.
” You know, I was the pack doctor for Midnight Shade before relocating. When Luna had been sick, she needed blood transfusion and I opted on using Felix since she was fond of him but it didn’t match. I was disappointed and curious so I ran a DNA test to confirm that it was all negative and Alex did the transfusion.”
I nodded at him, noting that the first weakness I could use against Felix was his family background.
“And he has a gang in Russia,” I Frowned hard. ” And maybe that’s why he sent you here so he could monitor you himself through his men which means that you shouldn’t stay here for long Lilia. We need to act immediately.”
Hot tears dropped from my eyes and I sniffed hard.
“What do I do uncle, I’m so scared. I’m really scared of dying or not seeing Alexander anymore.”
“I thought the Alpha always got on your nerves? Why the extreme worry?”
I wiped my ears and blushed. “Well, a lot changed and I messed up before I left.”
“We can always fix it Lilia, let’s go focus on your safety first!” He smiled at me and I sunk my teeth in my lips.
“Do you think so? Seraphina is back in his life and with what I did before leaving, I doubt he would be able to hold up without going back to his mate.”
His countenance fell instantly and he gasped.
“What the fuck is going on in Midnight Shade pack? Seraphina doesn’t exist! She’s dead!” He yelled and went out to get something that looked like a file of records before placing it on the table.
“Look at the files of her record here, she died from an illness that broke out and I was there when I saw the breaking point and last limit of her life.”
I swallowed hard and stared in confusion.
“Well, she’s there at the moment, alive and hearty to be an annoying bitch!”
“That’s not her Lilia, she’s someone else or something made her wake through a dark means. She’s there on a mission to destroy something or someone but the question is who?”
He ruffled his hair in frustration and held my hands.
“You need to go back to the pack because if anything is going to happen, Alexander is going to take the hit of everything. We’ll get to work tomorrow, take away every hindrance of Felix then we think of getting a visa for you. You should be with the Alpha or they will use his weakest moment to exploit him.” He told me with so much concern and we went to work instantly, combing out everything that was connected to Felix all around the city for the next five days. He hired an ICT expert to track every record or anything that might jeopardize my plans.
I missed everyone like an addiction but I know I didn’t have to rush, I had to be careful and take them off when they least expected it but it seems they also had a plan of their own because one normal beautiful day, my uncle went to work and never returned.
What came back that evening was a group of tall six thugs who broke into the room to request for my presence mentioning my name.
It was at that moment I knew we had been ratted out and If I don’t run, I’ll be stuck in this nightmare I’ve been thrown into, forever.
I did the only thing on my mind that fateful night as my name left their lips.
I jumped out of the window and ran!!
