Chapter 92
Lex’s Pov
A week ago, I remembered how I came back from the City, wrapped up things and pending jobs really quick like a pro and flew to Midnight Shade pack before I went crazy at the thought of Lilia.
I was a mess thinking about the test shit and hoping for nothing but positivity but instead of being in the Pack’s mansion, she was at Raven’s.
I felt at ease because the mansion would definitely be a horror zone for her, so I snuck in bed with her and felt her warmth, I inhaled that scent that made my house a home and a haven till she slept off.
As usual, she had a nightmare that made me mad again. Begging to be spared, begging to be free and not to get raped. It choked my entire body and my wolf hated it too but I was there for her till she cooled down.
The next morning, I became a desperate wimp asking her how much she missed me. I’ve been so fucked up by the existence of a woman that desperation and pleading went hand in hand in my dictionary. We kissed like maniacs, I felt her wet buds and I was a mad man in Patience not to go all inside her.
I couldn’t do that yet so I waited, wanting everything to fall in place.
“Your eyes glow a lot Lex, is it because you’re an Alpha!” She had asked curiously, cupping my cheeks and staring right into my soul through my eyes and I chuckled.
“No flower, not that.”
“Then what is it? Your brother or anyone don’t have your type but it’s really beautiful though. I love it.” I grinned like a love struck puppy at her words and decided to tell her even when I know she would think it’s a myth or a story from an historical book that was written down as fiction.
“I’m more deadlier than you can ever think of Lilia.” She giggled and found that amusing, making me even softer than before. She trusted me so much that the word deadlier and Venom sounded like sweet flowers to her ears when it had to do with me.
“Tell me Lex, deadlier than what?”
“A witch?” I cocked my head and she laughed.
“Be serious Lex , witches don’t have the color of eyes you portray. When you’re happy, you have a bright gold eyes and when you’re mad it’s fucking deadly, just like that night with that Alpha that tied to hurt me and at the office with Isabella. Why is it so?”
“It’s because I’m a demon Flower, it happens like that.”
“Why do you joke around when I’m serious.”
“I’m not, the full moon is fucking deadly for me because my powers are activated in full. I’m a special breed, Flower and if I’m not with my mate on the full moon, I might die.” That made her pause in her movements and stared at me as if I was spewing nonsense.
“Why do you need your mate?” She sounded jealous and I chuckled.
“To be intimate, It would minimize the level of heat and the burning powers to kill me. My wolf powers and demonic powers clash together so it’s enough to make me run mad.”
“Must you stay with your mate?” She cleared her throat and tucked her hair. “What if you get married later to someone else? Will you wait for her to come over to help you?” She asked worriedly and I bit my lips.
” Never! It’s going to be my wife instead.”
“I don’t care what you say you are Lex, as long as you’re fine…I’m okay.”
“Even when I’m a demon, out of your beliefs and deadly enough to kill?” I asked and she smiled.
“If my husband would be any of that to protect me, then I’ll accept and protect him too.” She smiled and kissed my cheeks but I bent down to kiss her lips instead like a lifeline.
I knew I wanted her so much and right here but I couldn’t do it. I’ve defiled her once, I need to make sure she’s ready for me instead.

Right now, sitting in my office and staring at the blank space before me; I let Lilia’s words replayed over and over again in my head.
“I would never fall in love with a demon like you.”
It sank down to the depths of my soul and my heart twisted into a terrible pain.
Something happened, Lilia was never going to react that way no matter the damn situation. She stayed despite the ugly tests and situations laid in ground for her, despite my brother’s presence and incessant attacks.
How could she zone out when she’s officially mine?
I retrieved my phone to call Raven, getting up and stucking my hands into my pockets and he picked up immediately.
“Tell me Raven, did you finally succeed in turning Lilia away from me? I said I wasn’t going to hurt her, I fucking have no intentions to hurt her not especially when I’m in love with her!” I vented out my Frustration at him and I heard a pause and total silence.
“I don’t understand you Alpha, why would I tell her shit? Even if you were an asshole, I would never say anything that has to do with her personal decisions.”
“Then what the fuck did I do wrong Raven! Tell me , let me know how to fucking apologise because I’m going crazy here.”
“You’re yelling Alpha, keep cool!”
“Keep cool? Lilia officially broke off with me and announced to the world that she’s a contract Luna and the duration is over, she wants me to sign the documents.”
Raven cursed at the other end in shock and muttered something like impossible.
“Look, where are you?”
“I’m driving.”
“When you reach home, let me know if she’s there so I can talk to her.”
“Trust me to do that Alpha!” He said and I cut the call making me think deeply.
I sat in my office for hours without coming up with anything aside from the fact that she might be threatened.
My brother was one psycho I was going to deal with because despite the news about him , exposing Lilia’s tape to the world, I couldn’t touch him here in the pack or I’ll kill him and my mother would go paranoid.
I was going to make living so hellish for him, so until then…let him fuck around.
The door opened as Jethro came inside, bowing down to me.
“I’m sorry Alpha but your father requests your presence.”
He said and I groaned, he should leave already since the test is fucking over.
“He’s with the Priestess.” He added and I snapped my head at him immediately and stared deep at him.
Alveria!
She messed with my Beta, Raven said he heard Jethro’s scent and now Lilia is suddenly against staying with me.
These motherfuckers!!
They would definitely have a hand in all of this bullshit.
“Do you have call credit on your phone?” I asked him and he nodded eagerly.
“Sure, here you go Alpha.” He smiled and gave it to me.
“I’ll be there shortly, tell Alveria that I’m on my way.” He nodded and left while I placed a call to Raven who picked at one ring.
“Check everything about Jethro and monitor his movements onwards. I’ve connected his GPS to your Laptop and mine. I think I have to trust you on this Rave, I don’t trust a soul.”
“Good job Alpha, I’ll check everything immediately.”
“I need to check on Alveria, any sign of Lilia?” I asked again and it was a no which made me uncomfortable.
I went to the living room to see them, all seated joyfully with happiness.
“Alex?” Seraphina stood up to hug me and I did the same which made Alveria smile and stood up.
“You called…. hey mum.” I walked to my mother and kissed her cheeks and she did the same to my forehead but feeling so aggravated.
“Yes I did, Alpha, The test is over and we are glad to know that your Luna isn’t a cursed rogue but it’s likely we found out that she’s not even real Luna and she forced you to let her bear the title so she could be one ”
The atmosphere changed instantly after hee words as I casted deadly stares at her.
“Don’t you ever call her fake, she’s still your Luna!”
“Your words Alexander!” My dad warned.
“No Dad, her fucking words on how she addresses my wife she and her daughter hand been trying all her life to hunt down all the damn time..”
“My apologies Alpha but I hope you know I’m looking out for you and the pack and your authority holds no meaning to my authority! I’m the Priestess!”
“And I’m your Alpha Alveria, I don’t care what power you have against me but don’t ever disrespect me or my Luna again.”
I spat out In anger, I was so furious not even at the way she addressed Lilia but because I’m suddenly realizing how fake she was, how she knew of Raven’s secret and how she had been able to fool me all these years.
“She’s no longer your Luna, she denounced you right before the maids and public. I beseech you to take back Seraphina as your Luna and let the normal pack activity begin. We have a lot of pending work at hand.”
I scoffed and my father stood up, feeling agitated.
“I knew that girl didn’t want all of this from the very start! I warned you Alex but you let her trample on the pride of the Wilsons!”
“It’s not your business or Pride! Face the Parliament father, this is now my pack. We had a little misunderstanding and it’s going to be solved.”
“No, You’re marrying Seraphina and that’s final! You’ve always wanted Seraphina, so marry her as your Luna and send that girl back to Tyson!’
My father’s words added more fuel to the fire and mum was tapping her legs impatiently. I turned to Seraphina who looked at me with hope and shook my head.
“I loved you, I fucking almost died when you left and seeing you is dream come true phina. I want you happy, I’ll take a bullet to save you but I don’t feel a thing anymore. What I feel is a fiery passion that can’t be quenched when it has to do with Lilia. I want her …alone!”
“Alexander!!! You won’t take back a woman who embarrassed you!”
My dad yelled and my mum stood up and glared at him.
“Don’t you ever yell at my son when it has to do with his love life and choices. You didn’t look twice at me nor touched me since your mate died! How I got pregnant for Alexander, I know you were drunk and you said it was a mistake!”
“What?” I gasped at my mum’s confession but she continued.
“I thought I could endure it but you fucked another woman and let her bring Felix only to dump him on my laps! I accepted my boy because he wasn’t the cause of your messed up lives. And now you stand and yell at Alex while you moan your mates name while jerking off!”
“Liliana!” My father roared and moved to almost hit my mother and I stood right before her.
“I DON’T GIVE A FUCK IF I’M YOUR SON! I’LL RETURN IT TO YOU IF YOU DARE LAY YOUR HANDS ON MY MOTHER!!” I yelled and he realized his actions and felt extremely embarrassed before turning to walk out without saying a word.
“And you Alveria, when your Alpha speaks… it’s left for you to shut the fuck up and listen. Don’t you ever in your lying bitchy life, Tell my son what to do again!” I was too shocked at my mother’s cuss words. I know she never liked Alveria but this?
It’s way too much.
