It was a rare footage of Raven, the same position we had been back then in the woods before I left for the fight.
How his skin burned, his head grabbed me by the shoulder with his fangs and how he sucked and fed on my blood like a hungry starved beast.
Ths phone fell from my hands in shock as I stared at her in horror.
“That silly car he drove you with is covered with explosives, fucking refuse to comply and it’s all up in flames!” Hot burning tears welled my eyes and slid down heavily as I watched my brother.
“You can’t send this to New York, they know his face all over the net like a celebrity.” I tried to be calm but I failed.
“Yeah, that’s because you were crushing on him hard while staying with Alex. Your time starts now!” She growled and I dropped to my knees, I never realized the weight that was set before me, how badly it would affect me if that video got out. It won’t just affect Raven and my new family, it’s going to affect Lex and all the hard work he’s worked for.
“Please Seraphina!” I begged, I didn’t have a choice at this moment.
Felix walks in and I gulped, my heart thrumming heavily in blast as the reality I’ve tried so hard to run away from hits me like a bullet to the brain.
“What’s she saying, I’m so eager to waste that fucker’s life with just a press of this. ” He said impatiently, holding a remote that had a strange wire which was definitely connected to the explosives they were talking about and I gulped.
“Nothing yet, just shedding tears.”
“Alright, send the video using her social media account! I’m blowing his brain up to enjoy the damn show!”
He spat out and tried to leave but I crawled and held his legs.
“P.. please don’t do it!” I trembled in pain and shook.
“That’s none of my business, his life in your hands. All of them, do it Seraphina before Alex comes back! He’s close!”
“Wait!” I trembled, nodding my head at her and her eyes glinted in excitement.
“I’ll do it.” I blurted out the most difficult words of my life and let the tears spill.
“Good baby girl, I love your decision, smart ass!”
“Please delete the video about Raven please…p.. please.” I croaked helplessly, I thought this was the end of the tough journey, stepping down as Luna but I was fucking stupid not to notice that Felix had other plans.
“Not so fast sweetheart. You’re going to tell the Alpha that, yelling to his face to sign the contract and let you go.”
My eyes widened in horror and she nodded, chuckling at my reaction.
“Look Lilia, we need to make sure the stepping down is the intention. Make everyone believe the Alpha is tying you down and you want to be free. Tell him that and make sure you leave before he convinced otherwise.
“You’re killing me already!” I yelled, standing up and she slapped me hard to crash back on the floor.
“You think I’ll stay on the sick bed to the point of death only to come back and watch you take my Fiance away from me, you bitch?” She yelled and Felix chuckled, dragging the smoke from the cigarette and puffing out the smoke.
“He’s driving really fast, maybe I should explode the car at his house, where his beloved mother would come out to meet the lovely carcass of his son just because some bitch doesn’t want to back down.”
I broke down in tears, I cried so hard that my lungs ached at how long Felix has planned this to ruin my life. I sobbed and soaked begging them but both could change their mind.
“What’s going on here?” I heard his voice, My wolf growled in agony and urged me to tell him everything
“Oh Alex!” She faked a wince and I suddenly saw blood dripping down her thigh.
“She pushed me as always just because I needed some air at your balcony.
You know how the waves calmed me down. You know how it”
“The maids will treat you Seraphina, I’m sorry about that. It could be because she’s tired.” He defended me without breaking a sweat and stared at Felix with a confused blank stare.
“Don’t look at me like that Alexander! This is not New York but my fucking pack and home. If you feel uncomfortable, then get the fuck out and leave with your Luna!” He spat out and I trembled, my hands shook and my whole body was a shaky mess before the Man whose presence was enough to calm the storm in my life and quench this longing ache between my legs before I die.
“Hey..” he squatted down before me and cupped face, frowning his perfect face and kissing my forehead.
I could rest in his embrace right now and act like a normal day, I could kiss him senseless, ask him to fuck me just as he had promised and I know Lex would do that. His eyes were purest when it had to do with me, it held worry, lust, love and anxiety to make sure I was okay all the damn time and it made tears slip down the more.
“You wouldn’t let me see you last night Flower, were you mad at me or something?” He asked calmly and I shook my head, sniffing and wiping my tears.
“Then why avoid me and give me a sleepless night, I thought about you throughout, I fucking thought you’re mad at me and ”
“Sign the contract Lex.” I cut him off instantly, not looking at him twice and feeling suddenly defiant.
He chuckled at me and kissed my hair instead, cupping my face and grazing my lips with his fingers to send shivers down my spine. He affected my whole body without even trying but I was done.
“Are you okay baby? Let’s go inside for a moment before I kiss the hell out of you and manifest what I’ve planned.” He said that out too loudly that I wondered if he had forgotten that his ex lover or Luna was still here.
I wanted it badly than him, I wanted Lex so much that it might turn into an obsession.
“I want you too Lilia.”

My eyes widened at his words and he nodded.
“You know we’re mates right, that you’re mine and I can read every damn thing about you.” He whispered in my ears and hot tears flowed.
“Come with me baby, I need you.” He sighed and tried to carry me but I shook my head.
“I’m done Alexander, sign the contract and let me be free. The time is up, I don’t want to be your Luna anymore.” His countenance dropped as she stared at everyone nervously. The maids and guards were present too and he shook his head nervously and sighed.
“That’s a shitty talk Lilia.”
” It’s not. We were under a contract right?”
“Stop it Lilia, it’s confidential. What’s come over you? Tell me what you need, anything to keep you at ease and I’ll do it, not this!” I stood up from the floor and stared directly at him
“I want this! Fucking free me! Your real Luna is back! Let me go and stop binding me!” I yelled with tears knowing my heart couldn’t take the surprise in his face as he stood.
“You’re my Luna, stop it already.”
“Luna on papers! That’s it. Let me go, I’m done.. I don’t want to be your Luna anymore, don’t you think you could get Into trouble by lying to the pack? You deceived them and bought me, our fucking agreement was worth ten million dollars plus but I’m the manager of your company now and I struggled get It in months so why would I waste my time with you.”
He ruffled his hair in frustration and paced around, looking like he saw a nightmare.
“Are you being bullied again Flower, tell me and I’ll end it. It doesn’t have to be this way at all, please!” He begged me and I broke down in tears and yelled.
“Let me go Alexander! Sign the damn contract.”
“I tore it.” He blurted out and my eyes widened.
” I tore it the moment I realized I was falling for you, the moment I knew I needed you in my life, to carry my heir and be with me forever!”
“Well that’s a dream that’s going down the drain Alexander. I don’t love you, what were you expecting from me, a fantasy? After what I’ve been through in this family?”
“Fuck this Lilia!” He roared and held my hands but I shook it off before I leaned into it. “That’s a lie, I know you’ve gone through shit but I’m willing to erase that my love, don’t tell me that please. Tell me you want me too, that you love me just the same way I’m crazy about you! I love you Lilia, I fucking do and I know this is not you! Stop it please?” He yelled, he begged and was at his breaking point when I shook my head and said something dreadful that would scar me for life.
“I would never ever love a demon like you! I cease to be your Luna, so formalize that and let me get the hell out of this shit!” He froze and reeled backward, watching me leave without stopping me
