Lex’s Pov.
The last three days had been pretty hectic for me in the Pack and I thought about changing my mind to stay in the city of New York to manage things over there.
We had a lot of challenges, not financially though but in the cases of having new haters and enemies. Alveria had been on my neck, making me see reasons to get another Luna as Lilia was a white cursed wolf.
I was almost forced to believe that if not for the last encounter that had happened at the Blue Moon Ritual, the imagination of letting someone else defend Lilia and claim her whether cursed or not was greater. I couldn’t let that happen and from Alveria’s attitude, I was forced to believe that she had a personal bitter vendetta against Lilia.
With her daughter too, of course, It was hard disobeying her. I tried to let her see reasons as to why I can’t go back on my decision and my mum seems to be a fan of Lilia which makes it almost impossible to concede to her demands. Lilia was mine now and for once in my life, I’ll be ready to go against the law to let her stay till further notice.
She won’t stay with me forever, She can’t and that’s a fact.
She will run the moment she discovers who I am and I dread that moment. I dread every moment anyone flees from me at my true self either a male or Female. This is the only reason why Raven is everything, I can’t say the same for my brother as Felix doesn’t even know me and I’ll be damned to say that I’ll let him know.
We agreed on the pack and settled what needed to be settled. I successfully created an Annex pack at Brooklyn with the Alpha, expanding our territories in other parts. I’ve signed more than eight deals and have pending proposals since I got married and I understand when my father said that my marital status was important.
It brought a whopping deal from all corners and I felt satisfied aside from one last bug that was threatening to rip my entire self-control.

Call me greedy or not, but I want that pack and they will benefit from it.
I wanted to create a monopoly form of pack with a monarchy rule, surpassing my father’s deeds as an Alpha. I’ve merged Six packs so far but the goal and Vision is ten this year then we continue next month.
But Jax wasn’t having any of it. He was strong-willed and wild when I approached his father and the truth about his relationship with Lilia disgusted me to the very last core in my bones.
They were betrothed.
Shit happened which led them to be separated but I’ve already asked my gamma to dig that shit up into the light. I need to know everything that happened to Lilia and Jax.
What pissed me off was when he mentioned partnering with Lilia’s Fashion house which was gradually skyrocketing, he told his father that getting help from my Pack would be useless and risky and would never succumb to it.
I was slapped in the face at the way his father listened to his opposition and agreed to his choices eagerly. It was as if he had supreme authority over everything and I felt a pang of jealousy flow through me.
It was the opposite for me despite the aura I possess. My dad needed to tell me whether this was right or not and Alveria needed to confirm things before I proceeded.
And when I try to argue, I’ll be told that Midnight Shade Pack is too large to be handled alone.

I bought Bells and More Fashion the moment I got to the city with her father’s consent and with a Little excuse that the company needed to be protected and she could still work but I know I was waiting for a ferocious smackdown from Lilia.
As for my bride, I hadn’t seen her in a week, and the thought of seeing her made my heart beat palpitate. I didn’t know what I was thinking of getting a separate apartment for us but it’s good and frustrating at the same time.
I want to see her face, I don’t mind her yellings as long as I get to look into those hazel irises of hers and admire her features that made my cock stirs at her mere sight of me.
She’s beautiful as fuck but also dangerous to me, in a space of weeks of knowing her. I can’t seem to get her off my head, I know it’s wrong.
I shouldn’t do that, I shouldn’t think about anything that has to do with any girl at the moment and keep my Principles high as always as long as it’s not Seraphina, but it’s the opposite.
It’s the reverse case with her and I regret sleeping with her in the first place.
Memories of that night are stagnant and deep into my skull and the feeling of not getting accepted by her or her seeing me as some piece of a devil’s incarnate is awful.
So staying away from her is not entirely a bad idea until I heard an alarm on my office door and he barged in, looking haggard and pissed.
“Not in my office Felix, Take that silly face away and get out of this place if this is how you want to spoil my morning.”
I told him but he sank into the chair opposite me instead and ignored me.
“Where the fuck have you been?” He seethed and I smirked, wondering if he was missing me already in the space of how many days.
I felt glad when he had to sacrifice his time that wedding night to look after Lilia.
“Went to the pack to sort out some issues? Missing me?” I asked him.
“You wish.”
He sounded pissed, this wasn’t Felix and I restrained a gasp when I saw a faint of blood in his eyes. His body was fresh but the blood that managed to lurk at the corner of his eyes meant that something had happened.
“What happened Felix, spit it out and don’t tell me nothing,” I asked him as if he had been waiting for me to ask. He vented out.
“Your beta beat me to pulp that night I tried to babysit Lilia. I know Raven has a deep burning hatred for me and I keep telling you to change him but you won’t listen!!
It’s a slap to my authority Lex!!” He yelled and banged his fist on my table when I swallowed.
He’s right, Raven hated his guts but this would be the first time he would lay his hands on my brother.
“He won’t just hit you, Felix, Something might have happened.”
He scoffed, feeling more pissed.
“It’s funny how you always take his sides no matter what I say, you never believed me for once.”
“That’s because I know Raven!! Damn Felix, stop with the comparison and tell me what the fuck happened.”
I yelled back at him and I hated it, this would be one of the times I hate doing this shit. Settling fights between my Beta and my brother and trust me it can be disheartening defending both sides. I trust Raven to the hilt and my brother is also in the picture so no matter what he says to condemn him, I won’t accept that and Raven would have his share too.
While waiting for Felix to share his frustration, I drafted a text to Raven to see me in my office immediately. If I’m going to listen to anything then it has to be both sides.
I leaned my weight on the chair and folded my hands across my chest.
“Go on Felix, what happened?” I asked him and his demeanor was now angrier.
“She seduced me…” He began talking.
