What a fantastic day for Skylar! Not only had she convinced Lucas to handle her biggest concern, Bianca, but she also secured a chance to spend time with Dave every day. She couldn’t have asked for more! Skylar was so happy, she nearly couldn’t hide her smile.
Meanwhile, two men were having a serious conversation in a private room on the upper floor of a clubhouse that was supposed to be closed for the day. One had a strong, commanding presence, while the other had a round belly.
“Did I give you the right information, Mr. Lawson?” The general manager of Orion Entertainment smiled as he stood up from his seat and poured a cup of coffee for Brady. “What can I help you with this time?”
Brady brought the cup to his lips, blowing gently on it, but remained silent.
The man in front of him had shared details about the intense infighting inside the Evans family. Brady had done his own investigation and confirmed it. The Evans family was indeed in fierce competition for control of the foreign market.

Brady sipped his coffee, a smile slowly spreading across his face.
“Dave Evans is out of the country, and without him making decisions for the Phoenix Alliance Group, it’s like a ship without a captain. The only person worth considering there now is Justin Wilson,” Brady said calmly. “I want Orion Entertainment to create more problems for Phoenix Alliance Group and keep Justin busy.”
Once Justin felt the pressure, Lawson Group could step in and take on the important projects that Phoenix Alliance Group had been working on.
Thinking about how much Lucas hated him, Brady’s fists tightened in anger and disgust.
Lucas had always kept a close eye on him. Brady knew that Lucas had spies everywhere, but he had to play along and let him believe he was in control.
Thinking about his son, Blake, who had grown up without the warmth of his real parents, Brady couldn’t hold back his desire to bring down the Evans family. He was determined to destroy the Evans Group and bring Blake home where he really belonged. He was tired of being controlled by the Evans family, and he couldn’t stand to see his son suffer the same way.
“I promise you, once this is over, you’ll be number one at Orion Entertainment,” Brady said firmly, his eyes fixed on the general manager.
The general manager nodded with a smile and quickly left the room. Brady’s eyes dimmed as his fists clenched tightly. His cup fell to the floor with a loud crash, breaking the silence. His face turned cold and hard.

“Shh,” another whispered, signaling for quiet. “I was just talking about their closeness this morning, and Bianca overheard. She wasn’t happy and told us gossiping at work wasn’t allowed.”
She tapped her colleague lightly, and the other nodded in agreement.
“What does that reaction mean? Could Bianca like Blake? But doesn’t she already have a boyfriend?” another employee wondered aloud.
“You know what? Maybe Blake is her backup plan,” one person joked around, causing a burst of laughter.
But the laughter quickly stopped when Reese walked by. Trying to ease the awkward moment, someone quickly said, “Haven’t had dinner yet? You’re welcome to join us.”
Reese smiled, and just then, Blake appeared beside her, offering a dinner invite that caught everyone off guard. “Would you like to join me for dinner? I’ve made a reservation at your favorite place. You didn’t eat much at lunch, so I thought this might make up for it. Should I grab the car?”
Reese blushed instantly, and the office burst into quiet laughter.
“Oh, Blake, you’ve been watching her closely. When are you two going to make it official?” someone teased.
Blake laughed lightly, then placed his blazer over Reese’s shoulders. “A new season is here. Watch out for the weather and stay warm.”
Reese nodded thoughtfully, took his arm, and they walked off together.
Their coworkers watched, stunned, exchanging looks of shock.
“Wow, did you see that? Do you think they’re really into each other?” one whispered, amazed.
“It looked pretty real to me. Things just got really serious, didn’t they?” another said, still in disbelief.
The next morning, Blake and Reese were all over the internet again. Photos from their dinner date the night before flooded social media, showing their clear connection. Blake was seen carefully preparing prawns for Reese, offering them to her with a gentle smile while she sliced his steak and placed it in front of him. Their exchanged glances that were full of warmth and appreciation said it all.
With such genuine moments shared publicly, any rumors of trouble between them quickly disappeared.
“See that? It’s the real deal! We’ve got solid proof right here. Blake and Reese’s sparks are legit! So to all the doubters, better find something else to do!” one fan cheered online.
“Blake is the best! A man of integrity and honesty. May your love last forever! Reese, together, you two are the dream couple we always read about. Please, take care of each other,” another supporter gushed.
“OH MY GOD! They’re so in love! Feeding each other and everything!!! THEIR LOVE IS CONFIRMED!” a fan nearly screamed in text form.
The internet’s mood shifted quickly, fully supporting Blake and Reese’s love.
When Bianca scrolled through the comments, she felt a storm of emotions rise inside her.
She knew that Blake’s actions were meant to protect her. He didn’t want her to be seen as “the other woman,” nor did he want her agency to face any backlash. So, Blake and Reese had put on a show for the online world.
