Chapter 93

Book:The Lycan Twins’ Abused Mate Published:2024-12-8

Anne’s POV
When my mate left for his pack, I kept training the young ones. We still didn’t know what was going to happen. I was in the office when Benjamin requested to enter.
“My Queen, we were under attack. They were witches and werewolves.”
“How dare they!” I slammed my hand on the table. “I will fucking kill them all.”
I mind-linked all the members of the pack to join me in fighting the enemies. I ran out of the office only to meet one of the ugly witches, casting weird spells on me. Camilla didn’t waste any time. She ripped her head off before she could finish her spell.
I roared in a challenging battle. For the first time in my life, I changed into my Lycan form. Camilla was so huge, bigger than Aiden’s Lycan. She stepped to the front and began fighting the enemies.
“How dare you trespass onto my land!” She roared. She was fierce, strong, and brave. She fought like a deity.
The pack members all turned into their forms. Together, we fought and conquered our enemies.
“How is this possible?” a witch uttered. “Are you not a disgusting human? How come you are a Lycan?”
I guess she was their leader. Camilla stepped forward to rip her throat, but she took off. She thought of running away, but when she met Aamon, Anna’s mate, he stopped her.
“Where do you think you’re running to?” he asked. “Do you think you can just step into this kingdom any time you like?” He grabbed her throat. She tried to use her magic on him.
“Don’t waste your time casting your silly magic, it won’t work on me,” he said as he clenched harder.
“Please, have mercy on me,” she begged for her life. “I was pushed to do this. Don’t kill me, please.”
“You were pushed, not forced, Jezebel. Who can push a great witch like you if not for your greed?” Aamon said. “You are too bold and dared to attack the Lycan kingdom. I admire your boldness, but unfortunately, you met me, and you are going to meet your end right here. See you in hell.”
Without letting her beg for her life, he ripped her head away. We won and conquered them. I intended to rush in to change into my human form and, at the same time, wear my clothes, but Camilla stopped me.
“You can change in front of your members,” she said. “Your clothes are still on and intact. You are special, girl.”
I slowly changed from my Lycan back to my human body. Camilla was not lying; she was right. I was still fully clothed.
“Long live, Queen Anne,” they growled.
“Thank you all for fighting and protecting this kingdom,” I spoke. “Thanks to your cooperation, we won and conquered our enemies.”
After appreciating them, I thanked the demon king for coming to help us. He smiled before disappearing with his mate.
My father muttered, “You have done so well, my dear daughter. I’m so proud of you. You are a great queen.”
I muttered, “Thank you, father.”
After chatting with my father, he told me he needed to go home. I bid him goodbye. The members got rid of the corpses by burning them to ashes. I felt a bit dizzy, so I excused myself. I walked inside the bedroom I shared with my mates. I climbed into bed and promptly fell asleep.
“Hey, baby, wake up,” I heard Aiden’s voice.
Was I dreaming of them? I guess I missed them so much.
“Hey, are you awake?” Ethan asked.
This was not a dream. I could feel them. I opened my eyes slowly.
“Hey, you’re back,” I whimpered, rubbing my eyes. “When did you get home?”
“Just now! We just got home and found you sleeping,” they answered.
I had no strength. I was too weak. Was it because I changed into my wolf for the first time that drained me?
“I need to sleep more,” I told them. “Allow me to rest, darlings. We will talk tomorrow.”
“What’s wrong, baby?” Aiden inquired. “Are you feeling sick?”
He placed his hand on my forehead, checking my temperature.
“Are you pregnant?” they asked in exhilaration.
“What are you talking about?” I uttered. “I’m only weak because I changed into my Lycan wolf for the first time. Can you stop stressing me? Allow me to get some sleep.”
“Okay, baby,” Ethan said. “We won’t bother you again. We’ll be over here watching you. If you need something, please tell us.”
I never bothered to answer them. I was too weak to speak. It was late in the evening when Aiden woke me.
“Baby, what’s wrong with you?” he asked again.
“You’ve been sleeping, and we were worried about you, love,” Ethan murmured. “I think we need to call the healer to check what’s wrong with you.”
“I’m fine,” I said. “There’s nothing to worry about.”
“We don’t think so,” Ethan persisted. “Let the pack doctor come and check what’s wrong.”
“Okay, fine,” I gave up. “My sister’s wedding is in five days. I hope nothing is wrong with me.”
“Yes, we know. Our father will be back with our mother soon,” Ethan said. “He can’t miss his best friend’s daughter’s wedding.”
“My love,” Aiden held my hand. “Thank you for protecting all the pack members from danger. Thank you for protecting our land. We appreciate it and say thank you.”
I was stunned. Why were they thanking me?
“I’m just doing my duties as their queen. They are my people and family,” I responded. “I should protect them from harm. There’s no need to thank me.”
“Yes, we know, but we still have to thank you,” Ethan said. “You did an amazing job. Everyone in the pack was talking about it, darling. You are a great queen.”
“Thank you, my king,” I muttered. We were still talking when the pack healer arrived.
He knocked on the door.
“Come in, Sir James,” Aiden said.
The old man walked in. He was so old, and this was my first time seeing him.
“My king, my queen,” he greeted and bowed slightly.
“Sir James, you don’t need to bow to us,” Ethan mumbled. “Please sit.”
He took his seat close to me.
“Please, could you look into what was wrong with our queen?” they asked, concerned.
“Please, pardon me, my queen,” the old man said as he checked my pulse.
“Mmmm,” he whispered. “There’s no cause for alarm. The queen is not in danger. She is perfectly fine. All she needs is to rest well because she’s carrying the royal child.”
“The queen is pregnant.”
