Anna’s POV
I woke up shivering, my body freezing from lying on the cold floor of the dark cell. Every movement sent waves of pain through my body. Why is this happening? Has my father abandoned me? Is he not pleading with the king for me? My mind raced with unanswered questions. I had been thrown into this dirty cell, and no one was coming to rescue me-not even the queen’s mother.
Damn it.
I should have killed her fast and clean, instead of taking my time discussing and fighting with her. I have no one to blame, but myself. Everything is not working out for me according to my intentions.
“Who do we have here?” The evil voice of the guard chimed my penitentiary.
“Oh, no! It’s the queen. Long live, Your Majesty!”
His manner suddenly altered. What happened? I was still wondering when he called me a bitch.
“Since you are awake, let us proceed with what we didn’t get to finish earlier. Since you chose to faint, and I’ve never had my release.”
“No. Please! My body throbs and my anus is still dripping of your cum. How is it possible you never have your release?”
“Who are you to question me? It seems you had never learned your lesson. I should have heaved that tongue of yours out if not for the king. I know this is how you treat your slave anytime you’re unhappy,” he affirmed.
“That’s my slave, but I’m not a slave. I’m this pack’s future queen. How dare you treat me like those lowly lives?” I shot back at him. He grabbed me tightly on my cheek.
“I already told you. You had never learned your lesson. I think I’m bad to treat you like a diva, but now I will teach you, to never talk back to me,” he muttered.
“What? What are you thinking of doing? Let me go. Don’t you dare touch me,” I said firmly.
“Don’t make me laugh. I should stay away from you when we just started everything? I’m sure the king must have neglected you here since the little princess is still in a coma and the queen has been fighting and criticizing the king for what happened to her daughter. And don’t you think you are in deep trouble? When goodness can never save your sorry ass, talk less of your father. You can never escape your punishment, even your dad is helpless to do anything since the princess is in a coma. No one is going to save you, so I should never waste an opportunity like this. Show me your ass. I need to fuck that anus of yours.”
I was silenced. I was trying to amass and comprehend the information he was telling me.
No one is going to save me? I’m neglected here with the company of a mere guard. I’m doomed.
“Please. At least give me some water to wash my anus. Just my anus, I don’t want to get some lethal infection.”
He smirked. “That is what I’m hoping for. Do you think I will get you some water? When I know an infection can kill you, I won’t miss that chance. Dream on. Don’t make me tell you this again. Do the right thing without making me get pissed, and if you make me angry, I will whack the daylight out of you. Be a good and obedient bitch. Now show daddy your anus, baby,” he enunciated.
I obediently showed him my anus. I didn’t want him to hurt or whack me again. I screamed out when he strongly penetrated me.

King Miller’s POV
Earlier, I was in my office organizing some documents and information we managed to gather together so far. I was exhausted, but I shouldn’t be. I was the king.
My queen has been giving me the silent treatment. She’s not talking to me, regardless of what I do to comfort or make her happy. She is never like this. She must be heartbroken and angry at me because of her daughter. She pleaded with me to release Isabella, her daughter, but I didn’t.
How can I release her? She will keep pestering her brothers. They won’t be able to concentrate on the scrutiny. Isabella will keep thinking they are his mate. This is forbidden. We gave birth to them, they were our children. Why should I allow this kind of absurd thing in my pack?
Whoever is tinkering with this game with me and my family should be ready to pay with their life. This is getting out of hand. I need to go back and check on my mate.
“Mia,” I called her name when I finally reached the doorstep. “Open the door, let’s have some chat. Please, I beg you.”
No response. Everywhere was silent.
“My queen. Please open up. I promise to do whatever you want. Please? Mia.”
I knocked on the door continuously, helpless.
“Please, I know you’re in there. I can sniff your scent, please open the door, and let’s talk. I will do everything you asked me to do. Just open this door.”
I kept pleading, but she didn’t open the door.
“I will stand here until you open this door.”
Hours passed and she opened the door. Her face was pale. She looks like someone who has no single soul in them. I lifted her and carried her to the bed. She was as light as paper.
“My queen,” I grumbled. “What’s wrong?” I asked her. “Please talk to me.”
“Miller,” she gently called my name.
“Yes, love. I’m here. Tell me. What’s wrong?”
“I abhor you. I detest you,” she uttered.
My Lycan howl. He howls and roared in the gloom. Remorse devours my soul. She feels hostility toward me. My queen hates me.
“I’m sorry,” I managed to speak out. “Please forgive me, my queen. Forgive me, Mia.”
“Give me back my daughter, Miller,” she answered back.
“Mia, you know I am trying to protect our little daughter. We don’t know who our enemies are. Don’t you see it? They mate them together. They forced them to be mates. Try to understand me. Please.”
“Understand you? I will. I will understand you when I’m dead!” she angrily shot back at me, making her cough out blood.
Blood. My body was twitching at the sight of my mate. S-she’s… she’s departing slowly.
“Mia, please don’t do this to me. I will bring your daughter back to you, right away. Please don’t leave me,” I whimpered when she started closing her eyes.
“Get the doctor. Get the pack doctor for me,” I screamed, not knowing when I mind link all the pack members at once.
“Why? Please? Mia, be alright.” I keep praying to the deity. Please keep her safe.
“Mia, don’t leave me. Please.” I’m begging her.
“I warned you, but you never listen to me. I don’t know what’s your problem, but can’t you just release our daughter when she asked? You even shut me up when I try to convince you to let her go. Look at what you inflicted,” my Lycan Demon stated.
“You should know that I am protecting her, demon. You should understand me better than them.”
“Protecting her? At the cost of our mate’s life? You’re protecting her, without anyone guarding her?”Demon asked me.
“Are you stupid, Miller?” he asked angrily. “She’s not a criminal, she’s my daughter. And I’m going to protect her with myself, so if anyone wants to hurt her, it will affect me, so I know about it,” I shot back at my Lycan demon.
“Oh! You were trying to sound like a good father. I know by now, she must have loathed you. My sweet daughter must have felt hostility toward me too, and it’s all because of you. It’s your fault!” he nags again.
“Please, Demon. Let’s stop fighting each other. Our mate is in danger. Let’s pray she wakes up.”
“You are pleading with me now. Did I not warn you, before it gets to this? I hope Mia wakes up or else… Well, you don’t want to see what I’m capable of doing, Miller,” he warned me. My Lycan demon threatens me.
“Enough. I’m the king, Demon. The King.” I’m getting impatient with him. “Don’t talk to me like that.
“King?” he sneered. “King, my ass!”
We were still fighting when the pack doctor came out of the room.
“How’s she, Davis?” I asked the doctor.
“My king,” he bows his head.
“Leave that, Davis. How’s my mate? Is she okay? Is she out of danger? Is she going to wake up? Please tell me.”
“My king, the queen is alright, she’s out of threat, and she’s resting. Try not to make her mad again because it may cost her life. But now, everything is fine,” he told me.
“Oh, thank goodness. Thank you, Davis.”
I cried out.
“What’s wrong, my king?” he asked me.
“Nothing!” I told him.
I need to check on my daughter, something is happening to her. Mia must not know.
I must rescue her. Nothing must happen to her because I don’t want to lose my mate. I walked and ran as fast as my legs could carry me to the dungeon.
Who is bold enough to hurt my daughter? I must see who that person is.
The cell door was wide open. It was not forcefully opened. It was opened with the keys. And there she is my beautiful precious daughter beaten to a pulp.
“What do you think you’re doing?” I asked the unknown person. “Who are you, to hurt my daughter?” she faced and bowed her head down in fear.
“Look up and tell me. Are you trying to kill my daughter?” I asked her, this time I’m releasing my powerful aura.
I was shocked at who I saw. It was Anna, Aiden’s girlfriend. She begged and told me she was innocent. I knew when someone was lying to me, and she was doing it. She was lying, but I had no evidence against her since my daughter was in a coma.
“Lock her up, you shall wait for your punishment. Lock her inside the dark cell,” I ordered a guard, Edwin.
I carried my daughter and ran as fast as I could. I mind-linked Davis to come back and check on my daughter.
How could I explain this to Mia? I should have listened to her. I caused all of this.
“You finally realized you’re stupid?” Demon spoke out.
“Nothing must have happened to her. Nothing.”
“I won’t allow anything to happen to her, D.”
“You should have killed her. She harmed our daughter,” he said.
“I will. I will kill her, but I need Isabella to wake up first. I have no time to deal with her now.”
