Moving closer, I leaned closer again. From his hair to his shirt and shoulders, I see reasons to be off with this guy. There was this I’ll vibe ozzing from him and I wished I could just end him immediately.

Originally, I never liked him for anything just as he also doesn’t seem like me too. If possible, he would want to do anything possible to get rid of me but that’s not possible.
I need to worry about why he smells so much like them and why it took him centuries to be out.

The Brook I know would rather frown at me than reply nonchalantly. He would not want to ignore a very important question even if he doesn’t want to answer with the truth.
The Brook I know would want to talk back, even when I already know he would look for a stylist way to chicken out, he just always have something to say.
‘You okay, Alpha?’ Hawk mind linked me.
I won’t lie when I said I almost flinched but as the Alpha, I did nothing. I didn’t even turn to look at him, I just stared at Alpha Brook’s body before moving to his hands.
‘I smell something off too but I don’t think it’s…’.
‘That is it!’ I snapped in the mind link to Hawk ‘His fucking scent is off and I feel he has Rain!’.
That was stupid and for some seconds I felt stupid but for my mate, I would feel more. I just need to know how to be meaningful than feel something is off because of my mate.
Turning back to see Hawk’s confused gaze, I growled inwardly. I wasn’t thinking right because I obviously can not think right at this point but something needs to be done.
That something is if I then manage to get my wolf down. Mox wasn’t having it, not when he is talking over gradually.
I listened to my bone snap, till my fingers began to fall off into claws. My teeth wouldn’t be much of an issue because I can taste my blood and the look on Brook’s face said it all.
The omega at the door post just walked out and closed the door behind immediately. Well, I am sure Brook must have told her to save herself because I will make sure to kill him today.
‘And what will the Alpha king do?’ Mox interrupted.
That’s right, what would he do?
Will I just lose my place as an Alpha, or will I get some scolding, or would I worst, go through one of his punishments again?

I don’t think I can let Brook leave even if his lower lips are now in a scared pout. Sweat broke out on his face, making me hate the new scent mixed with his scent, and that of the three women I have in my life.
Well, I can think of the Alpha King’s consequences later. After all, he knew that I never liked Brook from the start so he would just know that I had to kill him to get something done. He would know that Brook is always an annoying lazy ass Alpha who thinks it’s normal to scent like my wolf after trying to keep her to himself.
Did he even know that she is my mate? Her nature, does he know that Rain is a Lycan or is not an ordinary wolf if he doesn’t believe in the existence of the Lycan.
With a small shrug, I let my left index grow longer than the rest. With my right hand wrapped around his throat, I pulled him closer as I glared at him.

I refused to focus on the excruciating scent of my mate. Yeah, it’s Excruciating because I am going insane! I am going crazy about having my mate missing for these days, weeks, going to a month, and here is this mother fvcker!

Nodding, I showed him my five long fingers as I brought them close to his chest. I can smell his fear, I can feel it too. He is just so scared and is visibly trembling like a fucking wet leaf.
“You gat anything to say?” I asked, “You fucking know anything why you have not paid your levy!”.
Even when I can see how scared he is, there was this smile on his face as he stared at my claws before staring at my face. It wasn’t as if he was ever scared, it was as if he would be willing to tackle me in any fight.

As if that wasn’t enough, Brook look me straight in the eyes and smirked.
“I heard you are looking for your mate, Alpha Rex” He grinned “News spread fast, I had no idea the Almighty ruthless Alpha Rex had a hidden mate and he didn’t even invite us to your ball”.
Damn! How could I be so self centered that I didn’t make my woman known.
Waiting for a few seconds as he watch me silently, he grinned.
“The moon goddess help the poor girl whose mate is not proud to show her off till she got….. lost or kidnapped?”

News spread, but I don’t let anger spread.
Letting my claws slowly move over his shirt, ripping it and a bit of his skin, I smirked. I am pissed, I am in a rage, but how will I just let it pass.
“I know you know where she fuvking is, Brook” I pulled him in a choking hold “After all, you never wanted me to have her”.
Again, he acted confused.
Like he was surprised to hear about her. If an Oscar should go to a werewolf, it should go for this asshole in front of me.

Killing him would make me something I am not and I might not have my mate again so…
“Do you need anything else, Alpha Rex?” Brook suddenly asked.
Curling a bit away from me, he stared at his healing chest then my face. I can tell he looks pissed but what can he do, attack me.

‘Rain is an attractive woman, seriously, I felt attracted to her that if you had not been my Alpha, I would have claimed her amd make her proud of being my mate’.

How come didn’t see that coming? He hasn’t for once kissed her or done anything that would make me suspect. He had been a very good friend and had made her feel wanted even when I was too stupid to notice that.
‘What if Alpha Brook wants Rain for himself alone and that was why he was begging you to leave her?’.
Shit! I don’t know what mess I have gotten Into but it’s certain it would not end well. What I hope for is that, I wouldn’t be forced to share my mate because of my greed!
