I would say that I have become a prisoner on this park, but going anywhere with someone seem so unfair. Something, I take a shit with someone asking me if I needed anything.
That person had always being Mira. Poor girl.
Walking out of Rex’s room as usual with Mira, I wonder if she does not have anything else to do each morning. You just see her walk to me every morning to dress me up? I can dress myself.
Sometimes I sing it but she says ‘That’s what the Alpha wants, My Luna’
My hair was neatly held together in a nice French braid, a white shirt and a pair of black jeans shorts are my favorite. A new pair of speakers which was not pink! Maybe Rex found out about my hate for pink that would be why he got another one for me.
Then, it was time to get to the Parks training grounds with Mira and change our clothes off the kids’ section and to the adult section. All these while, Mira had an iron mug. I had no idea why she had it but I didn’t question her about it either.
‘I am not a child for crying out loud!’
I was 22 years old wolf that has had the opportunity to shift twice in her entire life.

Well, The people did pay attention to me for coming out of the Alpha’s quarters but that was all. Not too many stares, no side talks that I knew of, and no evil stares. They just let us walk past like we were invisible, even the guards didn’t say anything.
Staring at Mira from the corner of my eyes, I rolled my eyes. Hopefully, she will get bored of me soon and not wake me up, give me clothes, and want to even bathe me all the time! Imagine someone washing my vagina! No way will I let that happen.
‘You can as well let her dip her finger inside to know how it feels from another woman’ Ashina suggested.

The last time she suggested something didn’t go well and that was yesterday. Making me ask Hawk to feed me wasn’t a good idea but I still stupidly do it work anyway.
News flash, I let Hawk feed me till I provoked Caramel and Raven into telling me that they always have their eyes on me.
‘They can as well pull out their eyes and stick it to my back if they want’ Ashina scoffed.
What if I just try?
Frankly, these days had being something else for me.
Giving Mira another side glance, I thought about a very good lie to say but none was coming to my head. What I need right at that moment was to get a few minutes alone before I go out to the field and start having a bad fantasy about the sex.
Moving my hair off my face, I opened my mouth to say something but got interrupted by Mira’s odd question.
“Luna, have you noticed something odd in the park lately?” She asked.
Something odd?
Shaking my head in disapproval, we took the next turn to the park’s hospital with Mira watching our backs. At first, I felt paranoid and a little bit off until I see Hawk walking behind us. His expression was mute with his hands behind him and his long hair parked high in a ponytail.
He didn’t look so happy.
Walking toward us, I thought he might want to talk about what happened yesterday evening until he walked past us without saying a word. Then, I realized that he wasn’t even staring at us in the first place but somewhere above our heads.
I looked at Mira who has a funny look on her face before flashing me a toothy grin.
“Three days ago, Two girls went missing from the nearest park and a leg was found early this morning at our border” She whispered.
This was so scary! Literally very scary?
Having lost two girls three days ago to find one of their legs, it was certain that both or one of them might be dead.
“Is that why you asked if I noticed what has been off in the park lately?” I asked.
With a small shrug, Mira took my arm and pulled me to a corner. Her gaze lasted on the side of my neck where my mate’s mark for a while before moving up to my face. Sniffing the air for more than required, A small smile appeared on her face as she gave me an iron mug.
Confused, I held the mug in my hand then back at her face then the one she is holding. Fine, I know omegas do lots of kitchen work too but to walking around with mugs makes no sense.
“I do this all the time” she whispered as she pulled my hand.
Walking back towards Rex’s quarter, we noticed extra guards on the door. At first, I wanted to go back but with the stern look on Mira’s face, I knew something is off. She has never looked at me like that before and if she wants me to do something with this mug, it must be useful.
Just as she did, we smiled and waved to the guards before walking to a quiet part of the park’s town hall. This side was different. I have never being to this part at all, not for once.
“Copy me and be extremely careful” Mira whispered.
She slowly walked to a door which I did, brought up the mug, and placed the rim on the door. With the bottom of the mug on our ears, we state still with our eyes wide open.

Listening to the Elders of the park talk about the supposed dead girls seemed so bad that I want to leave until something caught my attention.
My heart began to pound louder, threatening to jump off as the question got repeated.
“Should we host a ball to get you a mate, Alpha Rex?”.
Silence.
Rex can not just keep quiet for so long and I am getting impatient. He can’t call me an omega to the park and hesitate when asked about his mate after he has marked me.
‘He better not mess up’ Ashina growled ‘He just better.
It almost seems like I can hear Rex’s heart beating simultaneously with mine. Is that Mox? I can’t say but if Rex eventually hides me again, I swear, I will go in there and…
“Elders” I heard Rex’s voice.
Silence.
He hesitated for a while again.
“Women are missing from nearby parks and what we care about now is a Luna?” Rex asked, “What if it were our daughters or mates?”.
What a good way to avoid the main question with another main question. No matter how anxious I was in knowing if he would deny me as his mate again or just blab about how the security should be high. He even talked about how no wolf should train near the bother and the guards around the bother shouldn’t go on breaks again. But instead, they should switch and make sure no one stays alone again.
“I will see that no one trains near the bother” I heard someone say.
That sounds more like Gamma Sean.
“What about the ball, Alpha Rex?” the same voice raised the question again.
I was beginning to like this fellow even without seeing him. For real, it takes only a man who was not as wicked as Rex to talk about the Alpha’s mate and the luna for the Park without knowing that the Luna is already seen but the Alpha was ashamed of her because…
A loud gasp escaped my throat as I felt been yanked from my upper arm. The mug fell off, making out small sneaking sounds a failure before the door opened. Effortlessly, I felt lifted as the door paved the way and I was taken in. Beside me was Mira who still had her mug and a stupid cheeky smile on her face.
Really?
Are omega’s allowed to smile here?
To be on the safer side, I followed Mira’s simple gesture which is to grin stupidly too.
My eyes locked with Rex’s and for the long time since in a while, I noticed a very soft smile. My heart melt and I nearly jumped for joy knowing that the time has come for my mate to announce me.
“You can all spread the word” Alpha Rex said “A ball will commence in the next three days”.
My heart dropped into my stomach. In fact, I could barely breathe because my heart has been covered up by my intestine.
