Seating on an open root, I could not help but think about how many people knew that was me. What about Hawk, Did he know that it was me too? Was it something that only my mate could smell my arousal?
I wasn’t a bad girl, I had no idea about what was happening to my body and why I badly want Rex.

Choosing to ignore Ashina, I rolled my eyes and fold my arms across my chest. The last thing I would want was to get anyone to be tagged with me today. At least, if I just stay and watch the people fight for a while, I will learn something on my own.
“Next tag, We are all going to run in two’s without human form for twenty minutes” The Gamma yelled
Did I just hear twenty minutes? Will I be among? I don’t want to pass out before I can even know what’s wrong with me.
Still trying to know what I have gotten myself into, I heard a loud voice in my head.
‘Double up in two’s and make sure your partner is not your friend!’ The Gamma mindlinked is all.

Confused, I looked around as the people began to arrange themselves. My curiosity was a bit cleared when Mira jogged to me and took my hand to join the line. Someone soon jogged side us and stared at me blankly for a while before flashing me a toothy grin.
“Hello Rain, you must have being hearing my voice. I am Gamma Sean,” He said “The Beta told me to tag you both for this week as you are news. Sorry, I didn’t introduce you, I will do that tomorrow”.
Before I could say anything, he went off, running as if he has some sort of bolt attached to his leg. Still yet, I gave Mira a fake smile before looking forward. Now I see how lazy I am, just a little space, and I feel like I am about to pass out until I sighted something interesting.
‘Naked male wolves?!’ Ashina scoffed ‘You are supposed to be looking only at Mate!’ She snapped.
Emphasizing his face on their body did help me stare with a clear mind. Even if it makes me want to do something unspeakable, I think I will have to just wait till I get home before finding out what my fingers will be able to do.

My body hurts, so painful that I thought I would not be able to follow Mira and Hawk to the park’s dining room. But you know, the stomach has a mind of its own so I followed them.
Unlike how I felt the first day I saw the entrance, I was too eager to enter just to eat and see what the place look like. I hope that people that have seen me scent like their Alpha no longer recognize my face or just don’t want to talk about it anymore.
Mira’s second name should be food or let’s call it ‘Miranda Foodiet’ because, Who eats anytime they can? That alone would explain how she manage to seat opposite where I want to seat so she could eat as many times without getting stares.

Immediately I took my seat which was close to Hawk, I noticed not-so-bad figures walking in front of me.
If I had showed them how angry I was, I bet they would have felt fulfilled and I don’t want them to have any of that.
‘Not today, bitches’ I thought.
So, I sat up straight, have the sweetest smile on my face, and awkwardly cleared my throat.
Mira seemed busy untangling the invisible knots in her hair. Hawk on the other side just made sure I was seating before walking off after muttering what almost sounds like ‘be right back’.
I could literally hear my heart beat louder somewhere around my stomach. Should I say I am scared to just generally anxious and pissed?
Frankly, I don’t know why I hate these two.
‘That’s because Caramel was rude the first day you meet her and Raven slept with mate’ Ashina snapped.
Can someone applaud her for saying what I didn’t ask her to say? Heck! I know that’s the reason why I hate them but the more I think about it, the more I get pissed, worried, and scared and that’s why I don’t like thinking about it.
Quickly, I looked at my shirt, and thankfully, it was neat. I resisted the urge to sniff my armpit as I had no idea if i was smelling so bad but what does it matter when I have no scent?
‘You have to still fix that scent issue’ Ashina scoffed ‘Mox needs it!’ She snapped.
How the hell does she expects me to undo what I don’t know when or how I did it?!
I just wanted to desperately run away from people’s stares and that was it!
Caramel?
I was at her parents’ house when I noticed I no longer have my scent. Maybe this whole thing started from their house and here she is with her… associate, Raven trying to make me uncomfortable.
Who was I kidding?
They are not even walking directly in my direction as I expected. All they did was walk with their chin high and a slight smirk on their faces.
‘They don’t look pissed to me’ Ashina said ‘Why don’t we do something extra’.

My attention moved to Hawk who arrived with a big tray containing two plates of food and fruits. They look nothing like what I used to have, they look all colored mainly green.
“You don’t mean to make me eat grass, Hawk,” I frowned.
Mira burst into laughter, her hands still in her hair and her food in front of others still untouched.
“Vegetables are not Grass, Lu… Rain” Mira said.
That was so close!
She calling me Luna in front of Hawk would be messy! He has warned me not to let anyone know but that was already too late because Mira found out the very next morning.
Hawk just smiled like he does not care. He moved his plate off the tray and handed me the rest of the fruits I don’t even like! Apples and a few slices of watermelon. He looked straight into my eyes a moment before slowly picking up his spoon. As if waiting for me to do the same, he didn’t change his position until picked up my spoon.
“This is Beans, Broccoli, and Avocado,” Hawk said with a smile “It’s another way of telling you that you can no longer cereal, milk, and Sugar for as long as you remain weak”.
“Sliced Broccoli” Mira added.
Why do they care if it was slice or not when all I heard is Remain weak?

With a weird smile on my face, I looked at the plate. I moved the green things on the plate and looked up at him. My lips quivered but I can’t let him see me cry because of vegetables.
“What if I am strong?” I asked, “Or I get strong tomorrow? Won’t I eat normal food you eat?”.
The small smile on Hawks’s face showed nothing but mockery as he took his spoon and began to eat. He didn’t say any more words for a while and before I know it, he had eaten almost half of his plate.
“I think we have company” Hawk intoned.
Looking up, I sighted Raven and Caramel walking directly to our table. No food, just their phone like it was some sort of priceless electronic box.
For Mira, I was beginning to feel that she felt somehow invisible especially when she has her back at them. She turned back to stare at them for a few seconds before finally beginning to eat.
“They will pass, just ignore them” Mira stared at me “That’s how I survived”.
Survive?
Let me ignore her flat expression and focus on her attractive plate. I wonder why she would have her plate of mashed potatoes, beans, and grilled beef while I have odd-looking green vegetables. At this point, I was beginning to feel that she was extra over food.
Something extra
Ashina’s words rang in my ears making me instantly disoriented and angrier. I tried to pretend I didn’t see them which was a flat lie because our gazes had already met.

That’s it! Leaning close to Hawk I held his upper arm and smiled sheepishly.
‘Can I borrow you for a minute, Hawk?’ I mind linked him.
How was that even possible?
Hawk awkwardly remains still with other hand still getting busy taking food to his mouth. The corner of his lips curved into a sly smile as he raised his head to see Raven and Caramel almost in front of our table.
‘Let me borrow you for a few minutes and I will make sure to eat vegetables for as long as you want.’ I mind linked him.
How I love mind linking! If not for Hawk, I wonder how I would look so desperate as I whisper what I want to him in the presence of these demons who are now in front of our table.
I noticed a small nod from Hawk as his gaze locked with Caramel’s for a while before looking at me. There lies the problem, I don’t know what to do after getting the person I needed.
‘Ask him to feed you’ Ashina suggested.
Without thinking, I looked straight into Hawks eyes and smiled.
‘Please feed me’ I shyly mind link him.
His cheeks dropped as he tilted his head to look at my face properly. I know that wasn’t what he might be expecting but what should I have done?
