73- The End

Luna Mavana was improving by this time. She was responding quickly to treatment, and Alpha Damian was preparing a dignified burial for his mother.
He was able to check on her and ensure that everything was prepared for the funeral.
“I am better now, and I want to get up,” Mavana spoke to the doctor who came to check on her.
“What are you saying? You have to finish your treatment before you leave this place.” The doctor made numerous attempts to remain calm with her.
“I took the treatment and am relieved that it is effective, but I still have some concerns. I do not need to lie here any longer.” She attempted to explain to her.
The doctor did not see enough reasons to give up and stop her treatment.
“That is not enough reason to stop taking your medication.” She drew her arms together.
“Ok, fine. I will take the treatment, but I am going to do other things instead of lying in this bed like a sick person.”
The doctor chuckled at her statement.
“I know, that is why I am trying to rest, but I have some things to do, and I do not have to stay here to do them.” She explained.
The doctor did not want to argue anymore, so she handed her the pills, which she could take whenever she felt down.
“I am grateful for the pills.” While the physician was putting her belongings in the kits, she said to her and walked out of the room.
When Mavana stepped outside, she ran into Alpha Damian, who appeared to be very busy.
“What is happening? Have you been discharged yet?” He inquired, touching her forehead.
“Yes.”
“No,” the doctors said together from behind her.
“Ummm. Which one shall I take?” Damian spread his hands in confusion.
“I am…” Mavana attempted to speak, but the doctor cut in sharply.
“She has not been discharged; she claims she has something to attend to and needs to leave. I tried to persuade her to stay, but she insisted on leaving, so I gave her supportive medication,” the doctor explained.
Damian turned to face Mavana, but she averted her gaze.
“I may leave now.” She turned and walked away.
“Why do you do that?” Damian squinted his eyes.
“I am the Luna, for God’s sake. I do not need to appear weak in front of these people. I need to finish what the elders had started.”.
“At the very least, you should rest and fully recover.”
“I am completely well.” She emphasized the word and tried to walk away.
Damian abruptly stopped her.
“Do not get too far out of my sight because you chose to do this to yourself; keep me close to you.” He gave her a warning.
She nodded in agreement, and he let her go.
Luna Mavana hurt the people of Silverado. When she passed them, they would try to act concerned, but she was far ahead of them and pushed them aside.
Mavana controlled herself so well that if given the opportunity, she would most likely kill all of the pack members.
“Stay far away from me if you do not want to die.” She warned the woman who was about to approach her.
The woman took two steps backward, giving her room to pass.
“I do not deal with betrayals like yours.” She clenched her lips.
Luna Mavana went to the dungeon to check on Daisy and Lorienta. When she arrived, she was pleased with what she saw. They went unnoticed and rotted inside.
She moved on to the other cells, where she discovered the civil elder and royal doctor. They appeared hungry, and the relation elder was already dying.
“Mavana.” The royal doctor summoned his last strength to call her name.
“You are all going to die interestingly.” She spoke to them angrily.
“I intended to meet Daniel, but he had died in the wrong hands.” She let out a growl.
Her angry eyes shone brightly. She told the guards to take them out.
The relative elder, who claimed to be the strongest, could not kill a fly.
“What is wrong? Do you have your hands tied?” She spat into his face.
They carried them to the field, where everyone assembled.
She left the dungeon to get ready for the ceremony.
“You did not tell me you had another plan for them?” Damian hugged her from behind.
“I didn’t; you were wasting so much time doing something, and I was impatient, so I had to do it on my own.” She took his hands off and changed into her clothes.
“You would do the same to all members if you had the chance.” He chuckled.
“You are reminding me of them. I will burn them all if I have the chance.” Her eyes burned with rage.
Damian laughed and got ready to see what Mavana had in store for them.
*********
All of the elders and those involved in the evil act were brought before everyone for judgment.
The people were scared of what Mavana had planned. When she stepped into the field, the entire place froze and fell silent. It was possible to hear the sound of a pin dropping.
The guard had prepared the area with dried grasses.
“I want to give you all a dose of your own medicine-but in a better way.” She gave a mischievous smile.
“Tie them up.” She made an order.
Alpha Damian walked in but remained in his Lane. Some eyes turned to him, expecting him to do something, but he chose to remain silent.
The guards tied them up and placed them on the grass. They poured the fuel, and she lit a match and moved closer to them.
“Please…,” she could hear them whisper.
“The more quiet you remain, the less pain you will experience.” She threw a match at them.
They were set on fire
The flames of the fire reflected in some people’s eyes.
“This is how you should all end, but I will not have anyone to rule.” She spoke to the crowd while holding Damian’s hands as they walked together to the other side for the burial.
Damian took care of everything this time around. The burial was successful but heartbreaking for him. He could not believe his mother had died for real.
“To the Alpha’s Mother.” They threw flowers into the air as they moved the coffin to the room where she would be buried.
When they arrived, the men struggled to place her in her grave. Damian was extremely emotional at this point, and Luna Mavana sensed it.
She stayed by his side throughout each function, making sure to keep her hands on him.
Damian’s eyes welled up as the Alpha’s mother was lowered to the ground.
Tears glistened in his eyes. He nearly broke down. Luna Mavana ran to meet him and hugged him tightly.
“That is fine. I’m here.” She caressed his hair.
When he felt he could not hold it any longer, he let it go on her shoulders.
Luna Mavana still hugged him tightly.
“We are in this together, and we will get through everything.” Luna Mavana muttered.
