Chapter 356: He Probably Didn’t Avoid All Women

Lion thought that Rosalind just couldn’t accept Ulric’s image being ruined, but given some time, she would come around. He had said what needed to be said; as long as she knew that Ulric already had a child and there was no possibility between them, his goal was achieved.
“I don’t know, Rosalind, don’t be too sad!”
She wasn’t sad; she was worried. The one who went to find Ulric was definitely Jake. If Ulric controlled him, even if she rushed in, she might not be able to bring him out.
Rosalind couldn’t bear to think about whether she could see her son again if Ulric found out about Jake.
After hanging up on Lion, she immediately sought Malcolm and Tilda to discuss the matter. They were still figuring out how to start looking for Jake in Northville City. Now it was clear.
“You said Jake went to find Ulric?!”
“Yes, he went to W Group.”
Malcolm didn’t speak, but Tilda shouted from the other side, “Brother! Are you okay?”
Rosalind was also concerned, “Malcolm, what’s wrong?”
Tilda took the phone and spoke anxiously, “My brother hasn’t slept for days. After arriving back home, he started looking for people to find Jake. He already fainted once in the car due to low blood pressure.”
“I’m fine. Don’t tell Rosalind about this!” Malcolm clearly recovered and grabbed the phone back.
“Brother! If you don’t say anything, how will Rosalind know how deep your feelings are for her? You always make silent sacrifices; how will you ever win her over?”
Rosalind frowned and glanced at Floyd playing nearby. She whispered, “Malcolm, I’ll go to Northville City! Since Ulric already knows about this, there’s only a slim chance of getting the child back unless I step in.”
She thought it over; any other method seemed futile.
Only by stepping in herself could there be hope.
“If you go, all previous efforts will be wasted! Trust me this once; I can find a way to bring Jake out! You haven’t been by his side; you don’t know. This child didn’t go to find Ulric because he wanted a father but because he always felt… this father was irresponsible.” Malcolm had heard such remarks several times before. He couldn’t say anything directly but could only guide and give more love himself to make up for the lack of paternal affection.
“You mean we should bet on Ulric not knowing who Jake’s mother is? Then you’ll figure out how to bring Jake out.”
“Yes! I believe Jake won’t say anything.”
Rosalind furrowed her delicate brows.
But…
The one who gave birth to Ulric’s child must have had a relationship with him! He… probably didn’t avoid all women during that period, right?
Wouldn’t that make her the prime suspect?
Malcolm also considered this issue and reassured her, “Don’t worry. At Jake’s age now, as long as he doesn’t reveal his exact age, it’s hard to tell if he’s three or four years old! After your divorce… he probably didn’t avoid all women. As long as he had any contact with someone, there’s a possibility of pregnancy! We won’t give up any chance of winning until the last moment.”
“But staying here alone worries me too. I’ll go to Northville City as well, but I won’t show up immediately. If things get desperate, then I’ll go find Ulric.”
