The Kirin team was momentarily stunned.
What was the Greater Sovereign of the medical and cultivation fields planning to do next?
Flynn asked for a pen and quickly began to write on a piece of paper. Shortly after, he handed the paper to Reginald Shaw, saying:
“This is a prescription for treating bruises and injuries, and it can also restore vitality.”
“Prepare the medicine according to the prescription, and give it to your people. Callan Grey can use it too.”
A look of surprise instantly appeared on Reginald Shaw’s face.
Could anything given by the Greater Sovereign of the medical and cultivation fields be subpar?
There was still hope for the Kirin Special Operations Team!
“Thank you, Greater Sovereign!” Reginald Shaw said excitedly, receiving it as if it were a treasure.
Flynn, however, responded indifferently, “No need to thank me. I just want you to stay healthy so I can beat you again during the military exercise!”
Reginald Shaw nearly choked on his own breath and managed an awkward smile:
“Greater Sovereign, actually, I didn’t come to Shipmeda State specifically to compete with The Edge.”
“My uncle’s pharmaceutical company’s formula was leaked, and he took his own life over it.”
“I’m mainly here to mourn. Please don’t misunderstand.”
“Your uncle took his own life because the pharmaceutical formula was leaked?” Brandon Pearce frowned.
“Yes,” Reginald Shaw nodded and sighed. “My grandfather started a company called Youhe Pharmaceuticals when he was young, which he ran for over forty years, pouring much effort into it.”
“It was modestly successful until a benefactor provided a Celestial Orb Ancient Formula fifteen years ago, which was highly effective for skin diseases. With it, Youhe Pharmaceuticals grew to a valuation of ten billion.”
“Recently, a foreign power colluded with a senior executive to steal the Celestial Orb formula.”
“My uncle couldn’t handle the shock and killed himself.”
Brandon Pearce couldn’t help but sigh, “Has the person responsible been caught?”
“The executive was caught, but the foreign agents disguised themselves during their meeting, so he couldn’t identify which power they belonged to.”
“But we’re sure they were people from Wakasa.”
Flynn’s brow furrowed sharply, as if he had thought of something, and quickly asked, “Where is your uncle’s company located?”
“It’s in Yongburg, near the border with Niarak.”
“I’ve heard that three other pharmaceutical companies in Yongburg have also had their formulas leaked.”
“Their methods involved internal collusion; Wakasa promised a hefty sum to bribe the executives.”
“These were century-old secret formulas. The heads of these three companies went mad, their hair turning white overnight.”
“Those Wakasa people really deserve to die!”
Flynn’s eyes narrowed slightly, murmuring:
“It seems they have come to Shipmeda State again, and are more audacious than before.”
“They?” Brandon Pearce asked, puzzled.
A chill flashed in Flynn’s eyes as he coldly said, “Ten years ago, Uncle Matteo’s ancient medical book was stolen, also by people from Wakasa.”
“They must be part of the same force.”
Brandon Pearce nodded, voicing his concerns, “It looks like we need to be careful around Energence Pharmaceuticals too.”
Flynn, of course, understood his meaning. Currently, Energence Pharmaceuticals possessed two ancient formulas, the Bone-Cleansing Pill and the Returning Heart Pill.
The Wakasa people would inevitably covet them.
Proper precautions were necessary.
However, Flynn was also somewhat looking forward to the Wakasa people making a move, which would confirm whether they were indeed the same force.
“Flynn, Brandon is right. If your friend has any Ancient Formulas, you must be fully prepared. Those people are too malicious,” Reginald Shaw sighed, gathering the Kirin Special Operations Team and leaving the base.
After seeing Reginald Shaw to the door, Brandon Pearce instructed him about a few matters-Mr. Clark was temperamental about today’s incidents at The Edge and instructed Reginald Shaw not to publicize them widely.
After the Kirin team left, The Edge regrouped.
Whatever decision Flynn made, he would carry it out to the utmost.
After a brief pep talk, The Edge split into two teams for a contest.
Flynn watched the whole time, thoroughly understanding the condition of his team members.
He pointed out each person’s strengths and weaknesses, creating a training plan for everyone.
After all this, Flynn didn’t linger and left The Edge Facility directly.
He checked the time; it was already five in the afternoon.
There wasn’t much left to do at The Edge Facility. His spirits were lifted, much like checking on crops every few days.
With this free time, he thought of teaching Molly.
Just the mention of the girl gave Flynn a headache.
If she would just listen and utilize that piece of paper, even if she didn’t practice The Eighteen Forms of the Celestial Blade, consuming Aetherium Dust would suffice.
In just three days, her constitution could approach that of people like Clayton Robinson.
Then, like today, she could open her meridians, but now, she had lost something invaluable to others.
Moreover, this girl had too many minor issues.
Impatient and disobedient.
She treated his words as if they were nothing.
Her fundamentals were not solid, surely rushing through her training.
What’s the use of training for over ten hours a day when her movements were inaccurate, like working on an assembly line? Whatever she practiced initially, she would continue in that way.
This girl was highly talented; if she calmed down, she would at least be at the peak of Grandmaster level by now.
Unfortunately, her mind was filled with thoughts of revenge, always aiming to climb higher in Martial Arts…
“Let’s arrange a training session,” Flynn said as he dialed Scarlet’s number.
“Hello~ Mr. Clark, are you done with Harriet Hamilton’s birthday party?”
“Did you whisper any secrets?” Scarlet’s voice came through, half-mocking, half-serious.
It sounded somewhat jealous.
Flynn, slightly annoyed, replied, “It ended early, okay? I was at The Edge Facility for over three hours.”
“Oh? Did Harriet Hamilton go with you to Pelens?” Scarlet asked.
“No, Zion agreed to her staying in Pelens for five days.”
Scarlet, smiling, said, “Not bad, five more days together.”
Flynn’s face darkened, not in the mood for jokes, “The man with the black dragon tattoo was found, Zion, Harriet Hamilton’s biological father.”
“Zion? Lysander King?” Scarlet was taken aback, nervously asking:
“Did you kill him?”
The man with the black dragon tattoo was the overlord of Pelens and the surrounding six cities and nineteen towns!
Flynn had encountered a tough opponent this time!
“No, there are people behind Zion,” Flynn replied.
Scarlet felt a chill down her spine: “The Martial Arts forces behind Zion are strong; you’d better not mess around.”
“I know,” Flynn responded coolly.
He had learned to be smart now; rather than arguing over useless things, it was better to play along.
You say yours, I do mine.
Zion definitely had to die, connected to his mother’s forces; none would be spared.
“Are you about to get off work? Is Molly there?” Flynn asked.
“Everything in Ponocord Bay is almost settled, Orion Kennedy said construction would start at the end of the month.”
“There wasn’t much at the company today, I let everyone leave early, she seems to have gone shopping.”
Flynn smiled, “Right, becoming more like a boss every day, didn’t you go with her?”
“Who has the time? I’m going back to Pelens the day after tomorrow, I haven’t even washed many clothes yet. There’s also been some trouble in Pelens, I need to call my grandfather soon.”
“Trouble?” Flynn couldn’t help but frown.
“Yes, the old man from the Gray family came to propose again yesterday, and my grandfather agreed.”
“They’ve even set a date for the engagement…”
